This book is a dream come true for people who want to improve their c++ skills and at the same time, learn data structures.

I have found this book to be an excellent complement to a book on coding in Java. It provides easy to follow steps for building classes and shows several implementations for building structures that handle the primitive data type 'int'. It doesn't waste time with a lot of scary details like most data structures books I have seen.

This book provides an introduction to the important and fundamental database concepts, with a good balance of practice and theory. The book covers topics relevant to data modelling and database querying for relational database technology. The material is covered in a succinct and very clear manner, making the book ideal for both teaching and learning. It provides a student with the facts, and examples that illustrate the facts, and a teacher can put his/her own spin on the material.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is wanting to understand and apply fundamental concepts of the relational data model.

If you want to have a quick reference book rich in logistic quantitative methods, then this book a very good choice. It is concise an easy to read.

This is an excellent book. The explanations are clear, to the point, and illustrated by great examples. The only book I've ever seen that explains relational database design clearly AND shows how to implement it in Oracle. Outstanding! Best purchase I've made in a long time.

If you are looking for an updated text focused on algorithm design, this is the one you should read. Examples and exercises are great, even when they are not very used in other texts. The style could be polished. For example, the pseudo code could be easier to read.

It is easy to transfer the reading into practice right before your eyes. I can tell you my boss was completely impressed with my gained knowledge and ability working with the Access program. This book met and went blazingly past my epectations.I cannot recommend it enough.
