Spider Books

In this "Miss Spider" storybook adaptation, Snowdrop worries that her eight legs are causing her to be clumsy. In fact, she begins to worry that she's just not graceful at all.

It all starts when Snowdrop isn't accepted for the track team. When a little beetle notes innocently that she has eight legs, she begins to think that maybe it would be better to have less. She ties some behind her back, but it doesn't help her. She even tries to fly, but goes nowhere. Miss Spider helps her to see that she's graceful after all.


This is book #8 in the Miss Spider series of easy-reader books based on the television series.

I like this book because it's a good way to learn about the science of camoflage. Kids' books in Spanish are great ways to add some vocabulary to your repertoire. Ok, so I've misspelled some words. The point is that I like these books because the illustrations are so great, the storyline is fun, and the science is good.
These books could even be good for College level Spanish learners.

I love the illustrations in all the Magic School Bus books. In this book, the kids learn about ants and actually go inside an ant colony. It's pretty amazing how creative the author gets. In one picture a little boy is even cuddling a larvae just like a baby.
I like to get kids' books in Spanish because it teaches kids so much of the important vocabulary while keeping it fun. My older boy in particular loves to flip through the books. He still calls these insects spiders but one day he'll get it all figured out.
It's a good book and a good way to help your kids pick up another language.

I have a son who really likes spiders. He flips through this book quite frequently. I like that the book's in Spanish. Eventually, he'll start to pick up on that fact and the Spanish words for things will start to stick. The science is good, solid, fact-based science. The drawings are kid-loved. We like to look at all the books in the series.
It's a great book with good illustrations, good science, good Spanish, and it's a fun read.

My child loves the pictures and the text! It's a great story that offers a clever way to learn the names of animals too. I also recommend the following book for it's cute quirky humor.

I thought this book was like an encylapidia to gardening, it had so much helpful information, and was so easy to understand and use. If you are a first or pro gardener this book will fasinate you, and give you intresting garning ideas. This book is a must have.

this book is incredible....funny, interesting, educational, great drawings and very entertaining! great as a unique one-of-a-kind gift, but i bought one for myself.
