This book was written by one of the great fathers of the modern Pentecostal movement. I have personally sat under his ministry and know countless people who were healed at his meetings and even some that were raised from the dead! Bro. Hall understood something about the mysterious realm of "spoken word" ministry. This book is a collection of his sermons, articles, and thoughts on this powerful place with God, where God's word comes through us and changes things around us. It also discusses our rights as children of God. Anyone interested in learning more about H. Richard Hall, amd more about that special place in God wher nothing is impossible, should read this book.

I origninally borrowed this book from a friend and just had to have it myself. The book is easy to read and has the added bonus of some really lovely meditations which I use on a regular basis. Thankyou.

This book is fabulous for young children interested in thier zodiac sign. It has great colorful pictures, that will fansinate young children. Otherwise I would not buy this book. It is not very detailed, but is great for kids. I would say not to buy it if over 8. You should get a more complicated one.

If you are able to get past the hokey name and cover picture, you have just found yourself a guide into understanding yourself, family and friends in a more in depth arena. Keep your mind open and really consider what the author has to say and you. Her insights and practical way of expressing a rather complex spiritual and psychological truth are both conforting and thought provoking.

This book really opened my eyes to the insights astrology canoffer as to someone's character.I have used it as a guide in selectingmost of my friends and employees.

By using your date of birth the book combines the Venus and Mars aspects of your horoscope to chart your romantic , love and spiritual character. It gives a brilliantly concise synopsis of your modus operandi in love, passion and work.

For anyone interested in Astrology, this is a book which should not be overlooked

A very well presented book with illustrations and history of the signs on every page. A lot of work went into its preparation and it is worth possessing

First published in 1910, this is the 1917 revised edition, containing complete text of the original book and 3 additional color plates. It is quite rare and desirable.

The book has very little text. It contains mostly wonderful color and black & white plates with a 20's/Art Deco flair.

I bought this book recently while on vacation and gobbled it up in a few sittings. Being an amateur astrologer, I have picked up a bunch of books and looked at many different guides for each sign. Jane's book, even with it's eye-catching title in the middle of all this Da Vinci Code mania we've been in the past few years, seemed like just another. But in just 128 pages it is the best primer on the Virgo sun sign I've ever found. Jane is incredibly concise and clear in her explanations and in presenting astrological information in a way even an absolute beginner can understand it without being confused.

But Jane doesn't just limit herself to talking about Virgos, she also introduces you to the symbolism and meaning of the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, and Venus, giving short yet meaningful descriptions that give you all you need to know to understand what the symbols are and how they can be understood with a clarity and precision that is mind blowing. The genius of this book is that Jane goes beyond simplistic sun signs desciptions and really goes to the heart of what being a Virgo is; for example, many books I've read say that Virgo's are impeccably neat and Jane tells you that is not true, but shows you that a preoccupation with order is an essential Virgo characteristic and explains how different Virgos manifest this trait in different ways. Her chapter on aspects to the Virgo sun, which includes Saturn to Pluto aspects in general explanations, were frighteningly spot on, including interpretations I have never seen anywhere else. Jane goes on to describe The Moon, it's significance and symbolism, how it is expressed through the four elements, and gives descriptions of the interaction between the Virgo sun and the twelve possible Moon signs. She then goes on to the same with Mercury, and explains how a Virgo sun can only be a Leo, Virgo, or Libra Mercury, an astrological concept I was aware of but not really conscious of until reading the Mercury chapter. The same goes for Venus, which for a Virgo can only be in Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, or Scorpio. In all the descriptions, Jane gives examples of famous Virgos with those planet/sign combinations, and one of the last chapters has birthdays featuring every single day of the sign (here given as August 23rd until September 22nd) in which it is possible to see just how many famous Virgos express the qualities of their Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus placements, as well as how the many possible combinations of these four planets express themselves in ways that go far beyond the limited viewpoints of other books on specific signs. There are tables at the back so that any Virgo can easily determine the placements of their Moon, Mercury, and Venus, as well as a workbook chapter so that one can go about deepening their understanding of themselves by writing and expressing each person's unique actualization of their astrological energies.

I hope Jane one day decides to write an in depth book on astrology in general in her lucid and crystal clear style, as I think she can be extremely important in helping people who know nothing about astrology understand it without confusing them. To test this book a little, I gave it to my cousin, who is also a Virgo and who knows nothing beyond his Sun sign to see what his reaction was. I also read the paragraph on Fire Moons in the Moon chapter with his elder sister (a Cancer with a Sagitarrius Moon). In both cases they agreed with me: every single sentence Jane has written is dead on, a rarity in books that focus solely on Sun signs. I am so happy with this book that I will definitely be buying the rest of the books in this series as well as Jane's other titles, and couldn't recommend more this book as well as it's companions about the 11 other Sun signs to anyone who would like an lucid introduction to astrology through the lens of their Sun sign; I wish all sun sign books were this simple, clear and complete.

I loved this book and read it from cover to cover. It goes into great depth on each sun sign giving specific characteristics of each sun sign. Informative, interesting and a great read! I learned a lot about each of the signs from this book! A classic!
