Signs Books

As a used item I find the $20-30 price tag a bit difficult to understand. Although the booklet is out of print it is still readily available through several motorcycle outlets. I got one from Whitehorse Press for $6. Enough said.

Still as good today as it was 40, ahem, 39 years ago.
Definitly a book kids will like. Very cute!
Good rhymes, good drawings too. Also a funny book.
Get both Mr. Pine's if you can (Mr. Pine's Purple House).

My 2 1/2 year old loved this book and the signs were very easy to follow. Please get more books like this one! My son has a speech disorder and sign is his way to communicate. He loves books and we practice what we read.

Book is colorful and easy to understand with pictures, words, and arrow diagrams to aid in forming correct signs. Includes a short introduction to ASL very helpful for 1st timers. The layout is a two page spread for each category with side panals on each page showing the signs. Content is broken down into small chunks. For example the "Feelings" spread has a picture of children in a classroom involved in various activities with a variety of expressions. Each child is labeled with the "feeling" and the signs are shown along the side panels (4 signs in each panel; 8 per category).

I work with infants and use baby sign to help the children communicate with us. This book is just wonderful! Great pictures and simple gestures help you and the child lean the signs for animals like cat, dog, fish, hamster, lizard, mouse, and the list goes on and on. What I like about this book is that they try and stay with familiar animals and animals the children may have had actual contact with. There are a few like "panda" that are a bit exotic, but still something you could find at the zoo.
I highly recommend this book.

My children have had a blast looking at these books! They are great, with real life babies to relate to. Fun reading for anytime!!

I adored this series of books and highly recommend them to others. He provides interesting observations of child-rearing based on the astrological signs of both parent and child. I keep buying them as baby shower gifts!

I really loved this book! Its a great book for teens interested in astrology and it gives you a guide that tells you all about it. There are different chapters that tell about Sagittarius, like your good mates, your lucky colors, numbers, ect. I would recommend this book for any Sagittarius teen.
