This is a great, fun book!Review Date: 2000-05-01
The cooking instructions are fairly easy and simple; the dishes prepared at home often do not taste the same as the dishes you'd find at the restaurant. I usually end up eating at the restaurant instead, and this book becomes a valuable companion to me when I eat there. Generally speaking, this book is really worth your money; you just can't go wrong. Well, at the very least, You'd get a good laugh out of it, and have yourself a pretty good talk piece!

Battle of the Burgers!Review Date: 2008-01-19
Who's the dirty rat who slipped some nasty-smelling cheese into Herbie's goodie bags for all the kids? It might just be the pests who tried to keep them in a tree house by stealing the ladder.
As the pranks and suspects pile up, the clock is ticking. Can Nancy Drew use her trusty blue notebook to crack the case of The Stinky Cheese Surprise?

Hard-to-find cookbook from a magical Restaurant.Review Date: 2002-08-31
The mysterious Avebury standing stones are located just a few miles from the more famous Stonehenge. J.R.R.Tolkein was sitting under a tree within the prehistoric Avebury standing stones when he was inspired with the concept for writing "The Hobbit" stories.
The Stone's Restaurant building is a stone barn, (once part of an Elizabethan manor), and was built within the Avebury circle of standing stones. The restaurant also has an organic garden, freshly picked produce is used in each day's menu.
This cookbook is vegetarian and the recipes taste best when you use natural and organic ingrediants. Each recipe has been developed to be visually colorful and attractive, as well as delicious. The recipes are inspired by international food traditions, yet use commonly available ingrediants.
Sample menu with a Mexican flavor:
* Chilled Avocado Soup with lime.
* Torta Mexicana (corn tortillas layered between vegetable filling and refried beans).
* Toppings of sour cream and tomato salsa.
* Cheesy zapallo succotash (spicy squash with cheese).
* Poppy seed parfait (cooked custard with poppy seeds and whipped cream).
This is a good cookbook, most of the recipes are easy to make and they turn out delicious as well as beautiful.
