This book is great fun and a good companion to Barbie: A Visual Guide to the Ultimate Fashion Doll. It is great fun for a teacher of ESOL students and girls about the age of 3rd graders. The children will love it and I have classic Barbies and clothes to share!

"Understanding your Senses" is an excellent book to include in a thematic unit on the Five Senses or The Human Body. But it can also be a great present for curious kids. It encourages kids to discover and open their eyes to the world around them. It helps them uncover the trickery of optical illusions or to step in the world through a different stand point. It also provides interesting facts on all the senses. It has clear illustrations and it presents the information in an organized, simple but attractive way.

This is a good Gothic. The hero is very much like Heathcliff of Wuthering Heights. The herione is not as likable as the hero, yet I still liked her. Great book

Normally when I pick up a book, if I'm not interested in it by the first few pages, I won't finish it. The author wrote this at a young age and she did a wonderful job! I couldn't put it down! Also, stories like this need to be recognized. The world would be a better place if it were.

I absolutely love this book (and the series that go with it). I read it for the first time when I was traveling Europe and it was the first English novel my poor hands had managed to find in weeks, and I was indescribably enthused . . . and this excellent first impression has never died. I don't think I could read the whole series back to back without getting tired of it, but I love to pick one up every now and then. The look into the life of a little British village (and all the drama it contains) is just plain fun. It is filled with quirky characters, well-rounded imperfect main figures, the good, the bad, the mysterious. Yay.
