I read this book when I was a child at 10. Exciting and full of adventure for a young person. I would love to get a copy for my library

This book thoroughly goes over how to spend, save, and make money. It has great info for the young enterpenuers with lots of scripture and devotionals scattered in between. I especially enjoyed the many job ideas for the many types of girls. A great gift idea!

I bought this book for a class this semester. The first minute I opened the book I was intrigued with all the tables, figures and pictures aside from all of the other information that makes this book a great tool in my glacial geology class. I'd advise this book for any geology student who wants to add to their unending libraries of college textbooks.

Since Amazon requires me to write some more, I'd add that these images are rich in colors, mystery, atmosphere, ambiguity, passion, and most of all - poetry. Some are like masterful paintings. It's really extraordinary to see what the photographer has done with such a subject matter.

This book makes an adorable keepsake for a pre-schooler while teaching about the many ways God is present in everyday life. It is an inter-active album that asks kids to draw a picture of themselves, trace their hand, and explore their favorite things. Each page has a theme and message of God's presence. When completed this will be a treasured collection of artwork, thoughts, and photos that will be a joy to look back on for years to come. It is a book to cherish with my daughter and something I have given as a gift to neices and nephews.

The title of this book, "God's Girl," reflects how Rebecca Monique Rivera felt about herself throughout her life, including during her illness. She was born into a loving family January 2, 1978 in Lodi, CA, and passed away at age 21 in 1999. "Becca" was a fun-loving sister to two brothers and a sweet and caring daughter. Throughout her short life, writing poetry was an outlet for her deepest emotions...about her family and friends, about being in love, and also about being ill.

Rebecca's illness was discovered in 1997 when she was a senior in high school. Routine lab tests for a tonsillectomy led to the unexpected diagnosis of acute leukemia. Rebecca had enormous mental, emotional and physical adjustments to make about dealing with cancer, which she wrote about in her poems. These poems show a profound wisdom about life and the human experience, and about humor and love. She showed by example how to continue to live life to the fullest, not to fear pain of death, and to have faith in her medical team, and in God.

Rebecca's life is an inspiration to patients and caregivers who face the challenge of serious illness. Her vibrant spirit lives on in her words of faith, love, and courage, giving us a gift of insight into how to live a full, happy life...no matter what.

The first read of God's Precious Gift in a Manger is a sweet experience. Rebecca Lamb's text is serene and gentle, yet it successfully covers the complex subject of man's need for a Savior from Adam and Eve in the garden until Christ comes as a baby in the manger. It is powerful, yet simple. The book gives the reader an understanding of God's watchful care from the beginning of time through the history of man and finally, God's provision of a Savior. Erickson's wonderful illustrations offer a superb visual for adults and children alike. They are colorful - yet have a slight overtone of sepia - reminiscent of historical photos of scenes from a past century. One is transported back in time by the feel of antiquity in the pictures. The combination of Lamb's fluid text and Erickson's charming illustrations make a delightful book that will be enjoyed time and again. While one might expect this to be exclusively a seasonal, Christmas book...it is much more than a Christmas book. I would expect this to be a terrific tool for Sunday school, homeschool, or in the home. I bought a copy for a gift, and one for myself! It is such a sweet and sincere book, I expect I haven't bought my last copy yet. Consider God's Precious Gift in a Manger if you are looking for a good book to read together as a family, with your children, or as a gift. What a great first effort from Rebecca Lamb. Look for more good things to come from this new author.

For those who go for mystery novels this novel is a must read.Terrific storyline,characters potrayal.I must congratulate authors for maintaining the suspense.Nearing the end,for me each and every character involved in novel seemed murderer.

I found this book to be an excellent tool for small businesses who are involved in government proposal writing. Resources are limited for small companies so it is more essential that every resource is used to increase the odds in winning bids. The author has an inside focus as she has worked in Washington, DC for 16 years as a proposal writer. She outlines a systematic approach for writing proposals and gives details down to the roles various individuals within the company must assume. She includes several checklists that are extremely helpful as guides in the Appendix. We are currently focusing on increasing our hit rate with proposals and found many of the organizational strategies in her book quite helpful. For example, how to organize the right team for the particular proposal, the leadership of the team, the structure of the proposal and the production of it. I find the bid process often confusing when we are trying to get the proposal out the door and we are pulling all nighters! This book helps place some strategic thought and long-term planning into formulating practices that are ongoing instead of bid to bid.
