the text plus illustations communicate the point of the story very effectively. What irritates me about much christian children's
literature is irritating illustrations - too irreverent, too reverent, too condescending, or otherwise poorly illustrated.
This avoids these pitfalls. My kids demand this story to be read again and again. This is my favorite children's bible
story book.

Hunting for Dinosaurs

Very interesting. I work in an office day in and day out and really enjoyed reading about Thom Tansey overcoming inertia to
get out of his office and into the field to hunt for and dig up dinosaurs. This is not a textbook, thankfully. I can relate
to the author's experiences of learning about dinosaurs from his field work and his research. The book is entertaining and
enlightening. As the author points out, dinosaurs were not the lumbering brutes we had been led to believe, as I was taught.
Some of them, at least, were probably warm blooded. Some lived in vast herds like the wildebeest in Africa or the caribou
in Alaska. Some cared for and nurtured their young, sometimes in nests. I certainly enjoyed traveling with Thom Tansey on
this journey of discovery. And I didn't have to even leave my easy chair, though I am now tempted to try a dinosaur field
trip myself.

I enjoyed the development of each character in the book, they come to life and you feel you know each one. They act and respond
like good people that have a heart for life. I enjoyed the humor in this book, I laughed, I cried, I cheered. It was a book
that I truely could not put down. I would recommend this sensative wonderful book to all my friends.

I read through the collection twice, once quickly at a lunch table among chatting diners while waiting for food to come, and
once quietly at home in a refreshing evening after the first autumn rain. My heart is now fully occupied by the poems and
shaken by author's deep feelings expressed so elegantly in those beautiful and carefully selected words.
It must have been such a life-long unforgettable experience that left the author with both sad and joyful memories that he chose to present to this world in such a collection. No other ways of expression can replace it. While most of us have been quickly distracted by other 'important' things in life: jobs, career, children, financials, ..., the author has been carefully constructing the flower-stacked tower ridden with all the purities from nature - rainbow, blinking stars, moonlight, colored clouds - mirroring the smile, tear, happiness, sadness from life's most celebrated stage.
Love - a forever theme. I wish I have even a fraction of the author's talent, crystalizing those moments I have gone through. I highly recommend the collection to everyone who wants to at least for a moment forget about noisy and upsetting world and cherish the best thing in life.
I sincerely wish the author has fulfilled his goal and can now reach the very private world and communicate with his love through the flower tower he has constructed.

A NEW NOVEL THAT'S JUST WAITING TO BE MADE INTO A MOVIE!

After reading this novel I'm convinced that this is a story just waiting to be put upon the big screen!
It has a warm, heartfelt feeling to it like STEPHEN SPIELBERG'S film "ET", has the outlandish fun of his film "THE GOONIES", has the lively adventure like the film "HONEY I SHRUNK THE KIDS." I agree with the quote Megan Robertson made from the Metropolitan Talent Agency; this is probably going to be the next big film like the Goonies or ET even when it's made!
I read that STAR WARS producer HOWARD KAZANJIAN is attached to produce the film version. I look forward to seeing how that progresses. In the meantime, my suggestion is anyone who reads these comments should buy the book. It's for most ages, 10 and up, young adults as well as adults. If you like any of the Harry Potter books and films, you'll love this. If you like fantasy of any sorts, Lord of the Rings, Eragon, this is for you. Even those who like science-fiction will enjoy it. Remember, the Star Wars producer has optioned the novel to make it into a film, so THAT ALONE has got to mean it's worth the read!
I'll end with another quote I read about the book and end with the film producers credits: "The story is very exciting! It really starts off with a bang, and it has a bit of Stephen King feel to it at times!" Sarah Durand - Senior Editor of William Morrow an Imprint of HarperCollins Publisher.
Howard Kazanjian is an award-winning producer and entertainment executive who has been producing feature films and television programs for more than twenty-five years. While vice president of production for Lucasfilm Ltd., he produced two of the highest grossing films of all time: Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. He also managed production of another top-ten box-office hit, The Empire Strikes Back. Some of his other notable credits include The Rookies, Demolition Man, and the two-hour pilot and first season of J.A.G.

My nephew is on the autism spectrum (and his name is Ben). This started great discussions with my kids about their cousin
and how people can be mean and how my kids might respond. At my son's 9-year-old sleepover with his cousin and his friends,
my son put one of his friends in his place after the friend made fun of his cousin. Made me proud.

Tumbleweeds is a great read, the story of a ranch in Texas and a woman who marries and moves there. The drama that takes place
between the men and the women on the Circle Z ranch includes the birth of grandbabies for Mother Allena and the stories of
the women her sons marry. Particularly, the book focuses on Mary Lou Mackey and her marriage to Tom Langdon. She leaves Kansas
to live with her new husband and share his life in Texas among his family members. All four novels in the book flow right
into each other, so the book is almost like one novel - a good thing if you enjoy reading Barbour Inspirational Romances as
much as I do! You won't regret finding this little known book - the characters are memorable and created with passion. Have
a great time reading it! - Deborah Smith Embree in Nashville...

A wonderful explanation of Noah's belief in God's word.

Two By Two is a wonderful story about Noah's faith to God's word. It shows that Noah believed in what God had told him ,about
a flood coming, even though he did not know what a flood was. He obeyed God's orders. It also shows that even though people
laughed at Noah for building a boat, Noah tried to teach them about God's word. He did not get angry at them for laughing
at him. This book has a smooth way of teaching not only what happens when we do and do not listened and obey God, but also
it involves the children in participating with animal sounds. It gets the children to see the animals and make the sounds
like them. Teaching children about God's creations and obeying his rules is the best foundation any parent can give a child.
I truly admired the book when we borrowed it from our church library, and our 2 1/2 year old son loves it very much, it became
his bedtime story for the past two weeks. I am very happy we have the chance to purchase it so another child can borrow it
from the library and enjoy it too.
