This story deserve a 5 because it tells you a lot about valcanoes.Also did you know that scientists don't spend a lot of time in the laboratories.Their are more people on the fields setting traps for valcanoe ash.Many people spend lots of time exploring volcanoes learnig about earth wonders.Many explores visit the volcanoes. they think learning about earth wonders are very wonderful.The spend time sleeping nere the volcaneoes.they love to explpore the volcaneoes that they come back every year.

This publication is virtually unique for Mensa (the international high I.Q. society.) Instead of measuing I.Q., it is a measure of C.Q. (culture quotient.) You see, this book measures how much you know and not simply how intelligent you are. As a member of the society, I can personally attest that there are many people out there that may be very intelligent, unfortunately, they are also profoundly ignorant....
As the introduction points out, this book will not teach anyone to be a cultured person- culture cannot be taught, it can only be learned.
The book covers mythology, literature, and legend; art; etiquette and manners; music, theater, dance, and film; math and science; etc.
Of course I may be personally biased here, after all, I scored a 289 C.Q. (anything over 150 ranks as a "cultural genius.")

Though dated (1994) Mango's book complements his later works. An easy read, he picks nine topics of interest to those concerned for the future of the Turkish Republic. It has an honored place on my desktop (when not loaned to friends) and is in the top five of books I recommend on the subject.

Magnificent classic on the history of United States Gold Coins, illustrated, giving the reader, student and collector a guided tour of how these coins were made, and of the special interests these coins hold for collectors, such as Eliasberg, Virgil Brand, T. Harrison Garrett to name a few.

It would appear that the idea behind this valuable reference guide was that it become a mainstay of study in this in-depth and exotic world of United States pattern, experimental and trial strike pieces, and it looks like that idea has been fulfilled. I would also add that with this fairly new research guide, there is more information available to interested coin collectors in this realm than ever before. Up until now there was Adams and Woodin, Judd, Pollack and now this reference book, one which is quite essential to anyone attempting to build a library in which to study this most interesting area of Numismatics. As a professional coin dealer I strongly recommend the aquisition of this great reference book to all who are interested in this area of US coinage.

Variations Of Colt's: New Model Police & Pocket Breech Loading Pistols is the definitive guide for what Colt pistol collectors call "small frame conversions", a diverse label covering many different types of early cartridge pistols. Seven basic variations of these pistols are documented and described, with production programs and quantities listed. Written by three long-time Colt collectors (John D. Breslin, William Q. Pirie, and David E. Price), each of which had independently collected data for over ten years, and all of whom applied their experience to previously unexamined Colt factory records such as production quantities and serial number data, Variations Of Colt's is a balance of minute detail, black-and-white photography, skillful technical drawings, and accessible prose text. As the authors point out, most of the guns were actually made as cartridge pistols, not converted from percussion, though conversions are described in particular detail. A "must- have" for serious gun collectors and a fascinating read for hobbyists curious about the history of Colt pistols and manufacture.

Another masterwork from the master of psychological reasoning. Dr. VandanBos takes basic principles of psychology and shows how they can be applied to fighting crime. Dr. VandenBos has taken his long years of working for PsychInfo and come up with a variety of values that can be useful for not only dealing with crime but motivating cubicle workers. The sections on respect for the individual, treating everyone with dignity and providing high paying jobs should be read carefully. However, I must caution that the section on technology and crime is a little too optimistic. Still the book provides a lot of bang for the buck.

Someone left a towelette from this line on my desk so I had to research where I could get more. These are very funny products to either give to someone, or keep a really straight face and use them in front of someone else, pretending you think they work.

This book has everyone from Bill Cosby to Woody Allen talking about basketball. I've been using the books the excerpts are from as my new reading list.
