From a poetically understated rendering of a brutal crime in a Bedouin emcampment, to machinations of might in the corridors of the White House, Q.O. is an engaging thriller. But beyond action and suspense, this book also provides a context for the roots of contemporary terrorism -- while its protagonist provides a startingly unique solution.
Much as with a Tom Clancy novel, one gets the sense, in each setting, that author Marc Schlechter has been there himself -- if not as a participant, certainly as an observer. Such is the level of detail and nuance found throughout Q.O..
In short, for any reader interested in looking beyond the headlines, to consider the causes and counterforces that are most probably at play in today's "War on Terror," Q.O. is an irresistable read.

When I saw the animation of Qi folw and the 3 D view of acupoints, I was very excited. This is the program I dreamed of. It also shows wild herb pictures and dried herb pictures.
It was easy to navigate and all the illustrations and pictures are very professional. Especially the anatomical illustraions of the acupoints help me to memorize the point location easily.
I have never seen the acupuncture program better than this.
I would say " you are the best". If this program had more function such as "edit the text" function, it would be better.
But anyway, I recommended this program to my acupoint class instructor Dr Yu and she began to use in the classroom.
All the classmates were very happy with it. I think the instructors should use this program for visual and effective teaching.

Although many works have been done on commutative rings since this was published, this important set of notes and theorem extensions was a foundation for many other papers. Frank DeMeyer, Professor at the University of Colorado and a terrific mathematician, has had many works published through the AMS. Studying this document is an excellent way to build a basis for some of Professor DeMeyer's later works, including a collaborative paper written in 2002 on commutative semigroups by both himself and his daughter, Dr. Lisa DeMeyer, Associate Professor of Mathematics at Central Michigan University.

This was the second Mac book I ever purchased, back in 1993, before I even had my own Mac. It's a treasure trove of useful Mac information, even though it only provides "coverage of System 7.1." I still use it frequently - as my 'first' reference source - and if I ever had to give up my Mac books, this would be the last Mac book I'd give up

Loved this book! This is an anthology of academic essays on gays and gay fiction in international settings. It covers men and women and almost every regional/racial grouping. This book is an important contribution to gay studies, postcolonial studies, and feminist/womanist/mujerista studies. Unfortunately, the editors have the best pieces in the anthology (sabotage? jealousy?). Still, I think this is a great book for gay academics and gay men and lesbians of color to add to their collection.

I have been in the ministry for over 40 years and have served as a pastor, university administrator, and professor. This is one of the finest books for helping Christians who are struggling in their spiritual development and are having trouble moving beyond the guilt stage of failure to live up to others' expectations and are searching for the liberating life which comes from a surrender to God's love and grace. Dr. Bobo combines his years as a university professor with a deep compassion for "everyday" Christians who are caught in the web of "spiritual-growth-by-works" trap - and the Christian life has become a drudgery. This book is also a great guide for new believers and "seekers" who are curious to know the true meaning of the Good News It is a must read!

A friend recommended this book to me a few years ago - and I have been thankful ever since! Easy to follow, with easy to find ingredients, and every recipe so far has met with rave reviews from family and friends. I have alot of cookbooks, but this is the one that I use often, always with outstanding results, and recommend to friends that are interested in recipes that result in fresh, lively flavors with no more than 20 minutes or so of preparation!! REALLY GREAT BOOK!

I had purchased the Radiology Word Book a couple of years ago, twice and each time it was, shall we say "borrowed". I then was unable to get another copy. When I finally decided to go to Amazon.com and search for medical reference books and saw "MY BOOK", I was overjoyed. The contents of this book as a reference are irreplaceable.

THis is a great book for anyone new to life with a puppy! Very easy to read & excellent advice!
