This book offers some great advice from the Rosbergs who are know as America's Family Coaches. It is a perfect shower gift for the young couple getting married. The advice is very practical and honest. And, for the price, the information the Rosbergs provide is priceless.

I read this an undergraduate Scottish lit. seminar. And for years, it has been out of print. That was a terrible shame, not least of which because I now want my own students to read it! It's a gem of a novel, portraying the people of a small community, and their intertwined lives. It's also about the clash between tradition and modernity. George Mackay Brown had an amazing ear for dialogue, and an ability to weave complex tales. The people of Greenvoe are wonderful character studies. One of the greatest Scottish novels...

This is by far the most detailed and enjoyable to read feild guide to amphibians and reptiles we could find. However, it does not include as many different species as some do, but it has much more information per species. I wish Thomas Tyning would write more nature books.

If you need a book to help you with all of the English language exceptions - this book is for you. Excellent examples and a great index make this easy to use and apply. This book will help anybody with communication skills.

The Happy Time by Robert Fontaine is a gentle look back at the eccentric adventures of an quebecois-scot extended family living in Ottawa ,ontario,in the early 1920's.These pre-'modern life' tales are sometimes sad, always funny, and never turn out quite the way you would expect.The evocative language used to desribe day to day living and the wild...yet recognizable characters that inhabit this family make you want them as your own.I found that I tried to read this book slowly so as to enjoy it as much as I could.You would do the same.

Dehqani-Tafti was the first (and only) Anglican Bishop of Iran, from 1961 until he was forced to flee Iran during the Revolution. There are many reasons one might want to read this book -- for me, one element was his insider's look at the changes in Iran as it slid down from a tolerant society into militant chaos, a perspective not available to many Americans whose only knowledge of Iran began with the hostages. (Sadly, I am here because our copy has somehow disappeared from our bookshelves at home.)

Kids, Have you ever dreamed to be in the Guniess Book of World Records than this is your book! I felt this book showed a lot of humor. It made you feel like you were going through the funny incidents with Kate. I highly recommend this book for pleasure reading or teaching in a classroom. A great book that gets to the heart of the issue with actionable instructions instead of esoteric nonsense. If you're in the human resources group, it should be a mandatory part of training.

I used this book to do some research about early mormon families. It acurately and pictorially follows the early history from beginning to present.

Every other page is a map or chart with a brief overview on the other page.

If you want the facts and nice illustrations of them this is the book for you. Only 150 pages.
