Prophecy The Books

This book appears to have not been edited at all. It took me a few pages to get past all the typos; I mean seriously, a LOT of them. But then you realize it really flows. Some of the typos are actually creative wordings. Even though they appear at first to be mistakes, they are purposeful and add to the free and creative spirit of the book. In a way, I suppose having all the mistakes and creative use of new words is a functional part of helping to facilitate the mind to shift. If it was all tightly written, it would definitely have a different feel, and the message would come through differently, and perhaps not in quite the right way, if that makes any sense. The content itself is fantastic. I found it enlightening, yet simple to understand. It pulls you in and takes you through, and you find yourself just following. But it is also provocative and it makes you think. You still have to decide and figure it out for yourself! What I love about it is, it gives real information, that to me makes more sense than almost anything I've ever heard. I frequently felt pulled back into the thoughts and feelings of my childhood, to a time when I sensed what was real, before it all got skewed by family and societal conditioning. Also, I have read many books in all the areas of spirituality and self-help, and this seemed to pull it all together. It brings it all right down to the very essence. In some ways, I feel that all the books I have previously read prepped me and helped me to easily digest and integrate the ideas in the book. On the other hand, you could read just this book alone, and get the same basic idea that all the other books are trying to convey, but without all those other (now seemingly) unnecessary details.

This short little book provides a surprisingly thorough explanation of the fulfilled prophecies of Revelation in fairly easy to understand format. Adams does a great job defending his amillennial interpretation. In order to keep his text brief and as uncomplicated as possible, he does not consider any of the opposing end time views. I also recommend as a companion book, The Time of the End, which provides a similar treatment of the prophecies of the book of Daniel.

Finally a prophecy book that is not 300 pages long. Mr Marcus' concise explanations for the events that are about to happen shows great insight. I like the way he takes prophecy and puts it into layman's terms so that you can understand it. I particularly like the way he blended the Old and New Testaments together, shows great insight. The story of his conversion is fascinating and I look forward to his future books.

This book is written by a wonderful author. It has a few misprints too it, but they are easy to pass. Some of them it may take a couple seconds to understand what it is supposed to say, but other than that, it has a good story line, and I am Awaiting the next book, which is obvious by a cliffhanger ending.

Andy does well to simplify a book that has caused so many to back away in confusion. With all the teachings about Revelation, how can one know which is correct? I have six commentaries on Revelation and half of them are completely different in their approach to the last book of the Bible. As confusing as it can be, however, Andy Kizer breaks it down and notes the basics of the book. It does well to set you up for a more detailed study. Even though the title says the book is for teens, all ages will do well to use this, not as a quick reference, but as a great first step for a proper understanding of Revelation.

Between 1728 and 1729, the Cambridge Deist, Thomas Woolston (1670-1733) published six discourses on the miracles of Jesus Christ, in which he attempted to show that Jesus' miracles could not have possibly happened. In 1729, Anglican Bishop Thomas Sherlock (1678-1761) set out to answer Woolston's arguments. Having been master of the Inner Temple, Sherlock was familiar with the legal profession, so he literarily placed the Apostles on trial for faking the Resurrection.

In this trial, the barrister representing Woolston uses Woolston's own arguments, while Bishop Sherlock provides the arguments for the Apostles' barrister. In this work, Sherlock did an excellent job of using the opposition's arguments skillfully, and not merely caricaturing them. The dialogue is exciting, and the arguments are quite thought provoking.

Though this book is largely forgotten now, it should rightly be considered a classic of Christian literature. I highly enjoyed reading it, and highly recommend it to everyone. This is an excellent book.

Amazing, spiritual and full of incredible secrets. I wish I have read this book before I travelled to Egypt and Mexico. I remember the places, but at that time I could not understand all the details and the story behind it. This book explains in such details the way of thinking and planning of little details for future generations to discover the secrets of The Mayan, Tutankhamun Prophecies.
After reading this book, I look at the stars at night and my mind just drifts away.
