If you are the type of Christian who wants to live in apathy, complacency or mediocrity, DO NOT read this book. It will cause an explosion in your spirit and challenge you to a deeper walk in the Lord and open your eyes to what the Holy Spirit has been trying to lead us into. It will cause you to look at the Kingdom of God in a whole new perspective. Johnny Enlow helps us to understand Rev. 11:15,"The Kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ and He shall reign forever and ever" and how we as the Body of Christ can and will make this happen. He identifies the problem and shows us how to overcome it. NO MORE EXCUSES! Come on people, it's time to take our mountains!!!

Although better known for his poetry, Percy Shelley is a thought provoking author of prose, as well. The book contains over 35 essays reflecting Shelley's views on such topics as religion, life, capital punishment,love, and freedom. His views on God and religion are particularly astute and would interest anyone who has wrestled with his/her own faith.

"Signs and Symbols of the Second Coming" is a very important piece of work to me. It deals in depth with two subjects that have fascinated me most of my adult life, the prophecies of the Bible and what is called in modern times the UFO phenomenon, both of which span the centuries and cannot be limited by our mere mortal understanding of time and space.

I did a series of interviews for the book in which I spoke to various experts in the field of Biblical and UFO studies, including Gary Stearman, of the "Prophecy In The News" ministry based in Oklahoma City. Stearman firmly believes that the establishment of national Israel as a state in 1948 is the first crucial link in a chain of fulfillment that will eventually lead to the return of Jesus in a UFO. Stearman explains in the book that whenever Israel is under severe threat from her enemies, a new UFO flap will come along in her skies to let her know she is still being watched over.

I also spoke to Dr. Brenda Denzler, whose Ph.D. in Religious Studies is from Duke University. She tended to reject the idea that the Second Coming will be an actual future historical event. Denzler said it will more likely come so gradually that we won't even realize it is happening, like a thief in the night, as Christ himself prophesied in the Gospel.

Ordained minister Dr. Barry Downing spoke along similar lines, though he is quite adamant that UFOs are the vehicles of both Christ and the angels. However, he argued that God may not be in such a hurry to disturb the status quo on Earth, which took Him millions of years to establish.

There are also interesting takes on the subject from Brad and Sherry Hansen Steiger, G.C. Schellhorn, and Dr. Frank Stranges, all of whom offer diverse and interesting opinions on the prophecies and UFOs. The many points of agreement and disagreement combine to form a level-headed but nonetheless heady mix of truth and speculation. Dr. Stranges even goes so far as to name the person he believes will be the dreaded antichrist, but I'll leave that for the reader to sort out for himself.

Included in the package is an audio CD of my editor and publisher Timothy Green Beckley interviewing me about the book, and Tim couldn't resist tacking one of my original songs on to the end of it. So one gets more than just an interesting book.

I have another book listed with Amazon called "UFOs, Prophecy and the End of Time," and that might be worth a look as well. Plus I've done a couple of books on Nikola Tesla, if that's your thing, and have contributed chapters to other books on UFOs and religion. In any case, I hope you take the time to give "Signs and Symbols of the Second Coming" a close look, not only for its persuasive and insightful interviews, but for the hope it offers as well.

Pastor John Abent has broken significant ground with Signs in the Heavens, a comprehensive and exhaustive survey of The Revelation of Jesus Christ specifically and eschatology in general. He was one of the first that I know of to recognize that the resurrection/rapture event will take place at the opening of the sixth seal, and that the tribulation/wrath of God will take place after the opening of the sixth seal, not the first seal.

Pastor Abent also presents excellent information regarding the signs in the heavens that provide clues for prophetic events. This book is full of meat for the student of Bible prophecy and I recommend it highly.

In this work, the author's have contributed something of profound depth (without being obscure) that empowers the individual to meet the challenging times in which we live - with greater understanding. The author's accomplish this difficult task by sharing their researches into the cosmological themes that, unknown to most, serve as the back-drop to daily life, and connect us to the Divine-Spiritual Powers. It is hoped that, in the future, there will be more works of this caliber - that address the recondite concepts of Astrosophy (Star Wisdom), in a manner that is both accessible to the general reader, and useful to the specialist.

I don't only recommend it to every christian who is waiting for Jesus's coming, and I urge you to make the editors to reprint it. The sign of being out of print is not because it's not good , by the contrary, It's the best of it's class!! This book impressed me deeply. When you read it, you can feel yourself with Jesus in the Olivet. He warned the apostles then as today.

This book picks up right where the last one left off: with fast-paced action, great characters, and an intricate world that unfolds with every page. Koonce has his characters weaving through several competing storylines, but I didn't find myself losing interest with any of them. The history of the world gets fleshed out a bit more, but I hope and expect that book 3 will answer my lingering questions. There were so many new story developments in this book... I can't wait for the conclusion!

Amid the spiritual development in late 2004 and after hearing so many times about it, I finally got hold of a copy and read it(1991 edition).

I have heard a lot of negative things about so-called "Kansas City Prophets" over last couple years. After reading the book, I realized, this book, written by an "outsider", truly cleared up a lot of things for me.

I was most touched by the earlier life of Brother Paul Cain as recorded in this book. I have tremendous respect and understanding for him after this book.

Dee Marie is one of the best modern authors I have read in a long time. Her writing style is fast paced, yet her prose are very well written. She pays attention to character detail and gives the reader a visual picture of her characters through words.

Once I started the book, I could not put it down. I am waiting now for the rest of her series. I recommend this book not only for enthusiasts of the King Arthur time period, but for those who just want to read a well written, interesting, and exciting book.

This is a great little book that my girlfriends and I have enjoyed reading aloud while sharing a bottle or two of wine. We have found it to be entertaining, but also surprisingly accurate as we try to figure out if we are indeed with the "right" men. At times its accuracy has spawned uncontrolled laughter and much table slapping. I wouldn't take it all THAT serriously, but it's worth the purchase.
