If Scripture seems a bit confusing on the subjects of Heaven and Hell, the Messiah and the Cross, Death and Hades, the Times of the Gentiles, the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation, and the Second Coming of Christ, then get this chart.

It's tough trying to "put it all together" when reading the Bible. This chart will help you understand how to put things in their proper context. It's very affordable and there is a companion book available separately (I have not read that book at the time of this review).

It will fit in most Bibles fairly well so you can take it with you. The finish is a high-gloss vinyl to minimize wear and tear. I've bought several for family, friends and pastor.

Good visual aid

This chart is the same as the one included in the book by Tim Lahaye: Charting the End Times. It is very helpful but had I known the same chart was included as a pull-out chart in the front of the book, I would NOT have bought it as an additional item.
To make the best use of the chart, a book would also be necessary to explain it. However, in a small group situation, it might be appropriate to have individual copies for members to use.

Nice!!!

This is a nice fold out chart of the whole Biblical scenario from a dispensational view. It makes a good reference and book mark for my Bible. I would also recommend LaHaye and ice's book charting the end times, it is fully comprehensive.

I'm a Polytheist. And the author is a Christian who converted from Judaism. Those are both monotheistic religions (to me, they are both atheistic religions, given that there isn't any difference to me between believing in one God or zero). So why did I read this book? Because the author and I are both Zionists! And I want to see what he has to say.

The first point that Levitt makes is that the Arabs and Jews in the Middle East would all do well if they were to cooperate. I agree. They would.

Now, is the land Arab or Jewish? I'd advise taking note of the fact that when the Levant has been heavily populated, the majority has been Jewish. Levitt says the land was given to the Jews by God. I do not accept that. But I accept the fact that this statement is taken seriously by many Jews! And that means I can understand why Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital, and why many Jews have shown great interest in the region. Levitt continues by saying that Jews have lived in the Levant for 3500 years, well before there were any Muslims anywhere. That's true, but it still is ancient history. He also says that the archaeology of the land is Jewish (all but one Levantine city existed in times when the Jews ruled). And, most important, the Jews won their war for survival in 1967 (and in 1948, I would add).

Now, what about the Muslims? Are they trying to take over America? As a descendant of Muslims, whose side would I be on if they tried it? Well, I'm not too happy about Islamic intolerance and its treatment of women. So it all comes down to whether we non-Muslims are already in a fight, or if we're the ones who are starting a fight.

After 9/11, my guess is that we're already in a fight with at least some Muslims. Levitt agrees, and he gives the incident of the fight over Notre Dame University's attempt to hire Tariq Ramadan as an example.

What about the Levantine Arabs? Are they a famous and ancient people, a nation from eons ago that merely wishes to have a State? Or are they simply people who are trying to attack the Middle East's Jews? I think the latter is the case, and Levitt agrees. It seems that Levitt is making quite a few good points!

What does the author say about Hanan Ashrawi? Well, let's just say that he seems to agree with me about her as well. And Levitt has some useful things to say about media anti-Israeli bias. As well as some problems academia has been having in teaching about Israel.

I'm not all that interested in the religious aspects of this book. However, I can't ignore the fact that many Christians have taken sides. Some favor the Muslims, even to the extent of supporting anti-Christian terror. Some favor the Jews. And the author has some ideas about which group is making more sense.

I think there is plenty that can be learned from Levitt's book. Unfortunately, many of the people who might benefit from it the most are unlikely to have much interest in reading it, let alone in taking anything in it seriously.

Very Interesting and Very Good Book!

As witnessed on his television program, Mr. Levitt was a master armchair raconteur, (he went to be with the Lord April 19), and more so when sifting through end time puzzles.

"Dateline Jerusalem," therefore supplies the reader a delightful read, especially those akin to Mr. Levitt's theological leanings, though one reviewer has already noted agreeing with Zola greatly while still disagreeing with his most important conclusion, that Jesus is Ha Maschiach.

Perhaps the greatest test of a work is it's staying power, and this work shall be enjoyable however long the Lord should tarry before entering the author's dateline city.

Importantly, positions are firmed in regards to many of the major issues of the day including insights into his testimony, the Jews, the Muslims to name just the first few chapter headings.

An essayist of the first order in an age when that rank is sadly thinning, Mr. Levitt's exit still leaves his projection of wisdom and courage yet needed for this hour.

From keen insights into media bias, to refreshing keys to Israel's proper role in world affairs, Dateline Jerusalem is packed with hard-hitting analysis plus new and startling information. What is the Palestinian agenda? Will Israel survive in today's hostile climate? Can America win the war on terror? What End Times events are just around the corner? After giving his testimony in the first chapter, Zola devotes chapters to the Jews, Muslims, Palestinians, the government, media, education, churches, End Times and, finally, questions and answers. Brilliant book - highly recommend it!!

Like all her books thought provoking. Her constant humility yet also a very strong sense of knowing what she knows and not apologizing for it is a wonderful mix. This book helped a lot, for her material raises a lot of questions and it is like sitting with her and being able to ask her these things. Some very interesting new ways to look at things. What I most appreciated in her book was her constant reminder of going within oneself and not to look at New Age teachers, or some other new way that is preached being "it". Not to put teachers and her on pedestals and make them into gods, but to go within and find the wisdom and truth that is already within. Her belief in God is so pure it is very very refreshing. A must read to understand more of her other books.

I was amazed at Mary Summer Rain's ability to be very honest and forthright in her answers to her readers questions. She maintained her ability to be herself and stand in her own truths. I was glad to see that she was not discriminating in those letters she included. Many were not written to her in her favor, but she handled her answers to these people with as much explanation as could be given to her understandings of how this world works.

I'm an avid reader and must say that I could not put Ezekiel's Vision down. Being a lover of historical fiction as well as a great suspense novel, this read fulfilled on all levels. With wonderful characters, family strife, personal challenge and a story line that fits a little to closely to our daily evening news for comfort, there is no need to be Jewish to love this book. My only question is when is his next coming out? This is prime for a follow up Novel.

I was instantly drawn to Ezekiel's Vision" by the depth and clarity of the characters. I enjoyed how Mr. Snyder expertly weaved religious history into a page turning novel. The accuracy of historical religious details must have taken extensive research. Mr. Snyder made Israel alive and real for the reader. I enjoy historical religious novels that are well written and highlight our shared religious heritage. Not since Irving Stone has an author intertwined history, mystery, and love of a country into such an unforgettable read. Darlene Hoover, Ct.

Averting the Apocalypse

Review Date: 2007-02-27
In this book the author uses an ancient Biblical prophecy from the book of Ezekiel and a manuscript which provides an interpretation of this prophecy for modern times to deftly tie together the past and present history of Israel into a thoroughly intriguing and suspense-filled novel. There is an explosive ending which could have repercussions beyond the borders of Israel. Essentially, the book is about the life of Robert Zadok, an industrial engineer graduate of Boston University, who awakens to his religious roots while in college and chooses to emigrate to Israel against the wishes of his family in the USA. This decision causes a serious rift between himself and his father. In Israel he faces many challenges to build a new life as an Israeli citizen. Eventually, he marries, moves to a new home in a settlement in Northern Galillee, has five children and becomes a defense systems officer in the Army (he remained a career soldier). While living in the US, he knew his grandfather was a Jewish religious scholar but in Israel he discovers just how important the manuscripts which he interpreted regarding Ezekiel's visions were. Robert Zadok gradually comes to realize the meaning and serious impact these manuscripts could have regarding the survival of Israel as a nation.

The author weaves together the mystery of an ancient prophecy, kabbalistic mysticism, modern day Israeli politics, the historical conflicts with the Palestinians and surrounding neighbors, the realistic tapestry of everyday life in Israel, and the personal issue of the impact of a possible life-threatening illness on family dynamics, as well as the importance of religious observance in the life of Jewish people ... The book is an amazing reading adventure because it deals with so many layers of life within the context of complex social, political, and world events. It is one of those books which is hard to put down once you begin reading. The depth of the reading experience and the superb manner in which the author provides clues and new layers of complexity is truly worth discovering for oneself. This novel should be adapted into a film where it would reach a far wider audience ... Anyone interested in world events, ancient prophecy, seeking one's religious roots, the quest for self-discovery would enjoy this book. Erika Borsos [pepper flower]

Getorix review by Maggie Bishop

Fifteen year old Getorix, the son of a Celtic leader, is captured and is eager to be sacrificed with honor. To his horror, he is selected as a slave to a boy his age. Talk about a major attitude adjustment! The setting is Rome, a hundred years before Christ. The time is before Julius Caesar. Geary's storytelling weaves history and details of the city of Rome into an easily read adventure story of two boys forced to be together who navigate a relationship through culture clashes, status expectations between owner and slave and the bull-headedness of youth. Getorix even takes you through the sewer system of ancient Rome.

This is the type of book you recommend to friends.

An interesting story about pre-Caesarian Rome.

Getorix is a teenage son of a Cimbri ruler who is captured, along with his father, and taken to Rome for a triumph and eventual execution. His father is killed, but he is spared and becomes a slave in the household of Quintus Lutatius Catulus, a Roman general and official. The story concerns the developing relationship between Getorix, Catulus' son, Lucius, and Keltus, a Celtic slave of the household. The author gives us a taste of what the life of a Roman household slave would be like, plus a description of some of the politics existing in the time before Julius Caesar becomes absolute ruler. An excellent appendix gives the neophyte reader a list of Latin and 'barbarian' words and what they mean. This book may be boring to adults, but is quite good for pre-teens and teenagers. It is fortunate that the activities and perversions of Sulla are not discussed fully, or it would not be suitable for young readers. The story ends without a satisfactory ending, leading me to believe there will be a sequel as Getorix deals with his status as a slave and his vow to make his father proud of him.

Getorix: The Eagle and the Bull is a story of a young boy's adventures in Rome that is comperable to the Harry Potter novels in that the concept is equally as fascinating. Geary's attention to historical detail paints a vivid image of Rome during a time period that is educational as well as entertaining. Getorix's incessant stubborness in fufilling his promise to his father emphasizes the cultural difference between the Celts and Romans and is the foundation of an unlikely friendship in the end. This book leaves the reader awaiting a young adult adventure series that has the potential to be brilliant.

A Perfect Novel. I could not put it down!

This is a beautifully written, riveting tale of a Celtic boy on the cusp of manhood, who along with his father, was captured in battle by the Romans. The boy, Getorix, is determined to honor a vow to his father made just before the father is executed. He is spared by General Catulus and given to his son, Lucius, as a slave. However, Getorix will be no one's slave, especially not a slave to a Roman enemy. His growing friendship to a boy who would be his master, and his desperate need to become a man his father would have been proud of sends him on a journey of pain and self-discovery which will ultimately chart his course in life. I see this book as a young adult book only in that there are no scenes of sexuality or obscene language. It is a wealth of insight into the life and politics of Rome before Julius Caesar and has been meticulously researched. The author, Judith Geary, speaks to an intelligent reader with language that propels the reader to another time and commands the reader to experience a slice of history along side her richly developed characters. I was hooked from the first page to the last and can not wait to read it's sequel.

Judith Geary's debut novel, Getorix: The Eagle And The Bull is set in the days of the Roman Republic (rather than the later Roman Empire) and is the story of a young Celt named Getorix. Following the adventurous life of Getorix which includes the depressing defeat of his father in a battle with the Romans, Getorix: The Eagle And The Bull deftly carries readers through a Celtic family struggles and Getorix befriending a Roman soldier who has spared his life. A superbly written novel whose author has taken great pains to be as historically accurate as possible in the little details so important to background settings and plot developments, Getorix: The Eagle And The Bull is very strongly recommended as a thoroughly captivating and intimate story of a young man's struggle with identity and pride. Written for a young adult readership, Getoix: The Eagle And The Bull is the first installment of a three volume trilogy and will leave the reader looking eagerly toward the next two titles in this superbly crafted and original series.

Refreshing approach to interpretation of Scripture.
Helpful Votes: 17 out of 20 total.
Review Date: 2003-08-04
The writers of this book maintain that Scripture should where possible be interpreted within the context of the "Author intended meaning", which I found was a refreshing and illuminating approach. Care being taken not to take Scripture out of it's true context where it's original meaning could be in danger of being lost or distorted.

The Holy Spirit inspired Scriptures being interpreted in the context of the circumstances in "which they were spoken, to whom they were spoken, by whom they were spoken, and as it would have been understood by all concerned at the time they were spoken". A principle which will ensure, as far as is possible, that there is no misconception in reading & understanding the true meaning behind the Scriptures themselves.. (Eg; when Israel was a nation besieged or the Body of Believers were under persecution etc.).

Many aspects of Scripture are discussed using this principle of interpretation with special reference given to the interpretation of Biblical prophecy, the Gospel message and the numerous Hebrew prophets.

The differing, often controversial, opinions within the Church in relation to the "End Times", including the Rapture, Tribulation, Millennium and the appearance of the anti-Christ are also examined, with each position explained alongside the writers' own interpretations and whether or not they agree.

The place of both Israel and the Church are similarly examined in detail, both in their own rights and in so far as they relate to each other, the Gospel and the "End Times".

The authors ask at the outset that the book be read with an "open mind" so I will not "spoil the plot" by explaining the personal interpretations of the writers here. In my experience this often causes either instant dismissal or acceptance of the book with an appropriate vote given to the review. I think that instant dismissal of this book in such a manner would be disappointing as there is so much on offer here.

As I progressed through the book I was pleasantly surprised how much I agreed with the interpretations given in this work. Even those who will disagree with the observations here will surely obtain some enlightenment from this book and will perhaps examine the Scriptures more closely in future. A recommended read.

This book is a must read for every Believer in Jesus, the Messiah! This book gives indepth analysis of the complex, and everlasting connection between God's people, the Israelites and the Christian Church. I was inspired by the authors' fearless examination of longtime, dearly held traditional beliefs of the Christian Church, confronting basically unscriptural teachings with the timeless truth found in the scripture itself. Their emphasis on the "Kingdom of God" as the focus of the Lord's purpose in the Last Days is truly a revelation from God's Word, the Bible.

As an author of a book on Bible prophecy myself, I found this book to be a source of both information and inspiration as I concluded writing "Mystery Babylon the Great, Defender of Israel, A Search for America in Bible Prophecy". Discovering Keith Intrater and Dan Juster's work gave me confidence that I was not alone in questioning some basic teachings that are inconsistent with scripture.

I congratulate them on this excellent and courageous work that bravely stands on scripture in challenging Christian traditions such as the timing of the Rapture and the idea that the Church has replaced Israel as the focus of Bible prophecy related to the end times. Such traditions have mislead a generation who have misplaced their hope on such erroneous teachings that led to the fiction of the "Left Behind" series.

I must also recommend my own book as one which builds on this theme of "Israel and the Church in the Last Days" with great detail from the Book of Revelation and other scripture into how America will carry out the curious role of being God's tool of the ministry of the Gospel and protector of Israel while at the same time fulfulling the prophecies of Mystery Babylon, the great whore of Revelation.

As the last days approach, Dan Juster and Keith Intrater present an optimistic view for believers around the world. A restoration of the Body of Christ is beginning to take place as the church asserts her unity, power, gifts and begins to establish the five fold ministry as found in the example of the first century church. What is the key element for the Church in these last days as she asserts her power? Establishing a saved remnant of Israel. How does one help establish a saved remnant, especially a saved Jewish remnant? Through establishing the Kingdom of God in every sphere of life through signs and wonders, deliverance, healing and living according to the law as Christ himself lived.
This book was first published in 1990, ahead of it's time considering the recent trends in publishing with Dallas Willard's Kingdom living emphasis in 1998's Christian Book of the Year - The Divine Conspiracy.
While optimistic for believers, the book also proclaims some bold truths which also seem prophetic in light of recent events, such as page 187 under the title - The Coming Armageddon. After quoting Joel 3:9-10 the authors' write "This is the buildup for the greatest clash the world has ever seen. The three themes of spiritual warfare, the restoration of Israel, and the judgement of the nations are all pending and at hand." Recommend Revelation - The Passover Key as a companion by author Dan Juster

A Powerful and Important Book for Christians

Review Date: 2006-06-13
As a seminary student, I have begun to find a very problematic atmosphere cropping up in today's churches and intellectuals--the problem is that of replacement theology, the idea that the church fully replaced Israel in importance and significance. This theology is extremely detrimental toward true study of scripture, both historical scripture, wisdom scripture, the Gospels, and all the prophetic literature within the Bible, both Old and New Testament. It undermines God's Covenantal Redemptive History and it leads, I fearfully have to say, to either lack of concern for Israel and her people to downright Anti-Semitism. Postmillennialism, amillennialism, and preterism is rooted in the Anti-Semitic teachings of the church during the first few centuries of the church's life (from around St. Augustine) even up through Martin Luther to today's day and age. Not that I am saying that you are racist against Jews if you do not follow the PreMill point of view, still, you must realize that the other "millennialisms" are washed in almost two thousand years of Gentile racism point of view toward Jews. You are probably not a racist, in fact you (whomever may be reading this) probably deeply loves and cares for both friends and enemies as you should, however you must realize that the birth of other interpretations are borne from racist thoughts and ideas. If the church is what's important, than the church gains the power, and the truth is left to the side. The Bible clearly speaks of the futurist importance of Israel and her people in both the Millennial Kingdom and the New Heavens and the New Earth. Go read the book Unholy War by Randall Price to gain a better realization, along with MacArthur's The Second Coming.

Now, let's get back to this fine book for your library. That is why I am happy to see this work by Keith Intrater and I hope to see new books by him in the future, his other volume being From Iraq to Armageddon. It is a vital importance that you and I gain an appreciation and a love toward the Jewish people and their God-given land, Israel, especially the City where Yahweh dwells with His people, Jerusalem. In this day and age when Israel is fulfilling prophecies found in both Testaments, when the battlelines are being drawn between the world and Yahweh, it is a joy to see Jews coming to Yeshua, Jesus, and rebuilding the relationship that had been broken down in AD 70 between Gentile Christians and hopeful Jewish Christians to come. With each chapter, the reader will gain a fresh understanding of just how important this little bit of land is for the entire earth, and how her people are important integers in the final battle between the forces of light and darkness. This book will help you even if you are like me, a Gentile, who wishes to give love and prayer to Yahweh, God, through Yeshua, Jesus Christ, by holding a hand out to the Jewish people and fighting for their rights, when the whole world and the darkness that lives in the world, wants to destroy the Jews--from Western and Eastern Europe to the radical Islamic nations.

If you like this book, I highly suggest you read the works by Randall Price. It gives a Gentile impression on how we need to band together for the name of Israel and her people, along with the future of the Temple.

I can't say enough about how much the Kirban Reference Bible has helped me in my spiritual life. I stayed up night after night reading and absorbing all I could, for over a week; since it was a borrowed copy. "One day I'll have a copy of my own!
Through studying God's Word; which was illuminated by the commentary & Pictures, on each page. As well as having the most detailed description of the book of Revelation's that I'd ever read; it was illuminating to say the least. Through the unique guide to everyday problem's; I'd found person's, that 'were having similar problems. I'd found the "answer" to the problems we were experiencing; which was "Obedience" to God's Word! My faith had been restored. So yes; I'd recommend the Kirban Ref. Bible.

I have several letters dated back when Salem Kirban andhis family started this ministry in his basement. We have bought his books and two of the Reference Bibles. Let me say that if you want spirit filled revelation of the Word; this is the tool of the Lord. You won't go wrong. All of Salem Kirban books are inspirational.

This is a fantastic Bible to own, with symbols and highlighting throughout and margin symbols to end-time events throughout the entire Bible. At the bottom of every page there is a commentary by either Kirban (an Arab), Gary Cohen (a Jew) or Spurgeon; there are many illustrations, timelines and charts, too. The whole of Revelation is his book "Revelation Visualized": a verse by verse analysis. Note that there aren't cross-references.

The book is a short description of legends of Maniilaq -- an
Eskimo prophet of the 19th century. I found it beautiful. God speaks to all people and his message is the same everywhere. Highly recommended.

Wonderful! If you are looking for an uplifting book without it being preachy, this is the one you want.
Historically accurate, imaginative, and well researched.
The cover art is beautiful.
The content is wonderful; it would be a great book for a multi-cultural class.

Further evidence that God speaks to man and would free us from superstition and fear, this is a story for adult and child in every nation and culture. Its narrative allows the reader to sit with Inupiaq Elders and experience the oral tradition of American native culture. I'm currently reading it to my six-year-old, a real critic.

This is a wonderful book for anyone and any age. It can inspire us and give us all comfort knowing that the "grandfather" in the sky cares for all of us. It is an easy read told through the words of the elders. It is a very wonderful book and is a reminder of how we are all God's children. I highly recommend it!!!

I couldn't put it down! Informative, comprehensive, easy-to-read, and well documented, "Mark" is probably the best book I've read on the possibilities of end-time government control. The technology is all ready, and after reading the book, one is compelled to admit that we may be closer than we think to total Big Brother control. Well worth reading.

Excellent book! The best ever written on the 666 Mark!

This is a must-read book for everyone. I've never seen such a well documented book on the Biblical subject of the Mark-of-the-Beast as is this one. It is mind boggling to say the least. Powerful work!

Also, I've just finished reading Mr. Cook's latest book entitled, Big Brother NSA, covering the Beast's 666 international computer system. Big Brother NSA is even better than The Mark of the New World Order. Really, you must have both of them. They are tremendous! What an education! I've been blessed!

This is one of the most prolific books Terry has written. The information included is based on real investigations into areas most people would not know how to begin getting into.

I know Terry personally, and his abilities as an investigator really come out in his writtings. The information in Mark of the New World Order will help anyone to understand how far we have come toward the full implimentation of Big Brother. Terry writes as well as he speaks, and anyone hearing his seminars would be as excited about his information in person as they would be in reading this highly informative work.Terry, keep up to great work!

This book is a clone of Sitchin's theories. If you like Sitchin; chances are you read this book already. I should give this book 2 or 3 stars because of no originality, but Sitchin's theories are interesting.

This book of essays presented at the first Sitchin Studies day is a must for those of us that have read the Earth Chronicles. Upon reading the first few pages, I discovered that I was not alone in my love of Sitchin, I was in fact in very good company. I especially appreciated the essay by Neil Freer with his "take no prisoners" logic. While all the essays clear up confusion and answer my questions, his was my favorite. This is not a book of theory, of the perception of myths, or wishful thinking. This book tells it like it is. I think it can stand on it's own to capture the interest of even those unaware of Sitchins work. For those of us who are aware, it validates our thinking and lets us know that we are not alone!

I truly enjoyed every paper included in this book. It was wonderful to read the expanded views of others. The writers span many vocations and have so many thoughts that I shared while reading the Earth Chronicles! If you have the series, add this also.
