I loved this book. Whitney uses great examples and a sharp tongue to expose many of the myths of our current management thinking. It is laugh-out-loud funny at points, and his writing style flows very well. There is some very good theory in here.

This book is wonderful. It gives you insight into how not to be so overly focused on money on earth, but to store treasure in heaven.

My only hope is that this author, Pastor Mike Ware of Victory Church in Denver, Colorado will write several more books, because no question, he is gifted to do so.

To anyone that's purchased any of the sports gambling books that Mr. Tuttle has written, I hope that you've had as much success in recent months as I have. This was without a doubt the best $21 and change that I've ever spent in my life. And, best of all there's still another 10 predictions left to come for next weekend (Saturday Sept. 20th). I'm a $200 game player these days, and Mr. Tuttle's football prospectus for today/tonight Saturday, Sept. 13th (and the Thursday night winner with Kansas +3.5), has made me a net profit over the last 3 days of $960.00! And at the risk of sounding redundant, as I've already mentioned, there's still 10 more plays for next Saturday in this little booklet. I pray to the gambling gods that Mr. Tuttle keeps writing these all season long, or better still, during the College and Pro basketball season. His formulas and techniques have absolutely proven that any loser can become a winner. I'm living proof of that last statement!

This book is well-written and clear, and brings us the straight-forward trading system successfully developed by Robert Weist in the 1970's.

The authors are practising practitioners and share their experiences in an outstanding book giving practical applications and advise. This Ventriloquist Autobiography is definitely worth a look! Starting at the Major Bowes and Ted Mack Amateur Shows, we get a look not only at the life of this well known actor/ventriloquist, but also a brief history of the subject, when various priests would "throw their voice", and suggest that some inanimate object was speaking. In late 1800's this entertainment hit it big in the vaudeville era, and the large person-like speaking figure came about, like the old automatons. The author visited a London show with a patient in bed, along with a nurse, and was astounded to find the patient was really a speaking dummy! Can you really "throw" your voice? No, this is an illusion, the trick being to do it when the audience is looking at the dummy, or other object. Through speech diagrams, we learn the techniques, and there are even special pictures showing how to build your own dummy. Also, some photos of the writer/artist at work building and repairing his "friends"; plus black and white photos, including one with the author and Edgar Bergen, perhaps the most famous ventriloquist of them all!
