Piano The Books

It is a good book for beginnger. It teaches music reading, basic music skill on electronic keyboard. It has lots of simple exercies and familar children's songs. Highly recommended for everyone who likes to start music learning.

I am a student, and I am currently using this book. This book continues on from the first volume in a successful way. It makes learning Neopolitan chords a little easier; it explains everything clearly, and allows the student to apply it in the right way. Good informative book.

The score arrived in perfect condition and securely wrapped. I am extremely appreciative for finding such a great deal on a stellar product.

I cannot believe that there is not a review for this album posted! I LOVE this album. I love the sound of Elvis Costello's vocals backed by Bacharach. And the background vocals! Oh sensory overload. Great production. Soulful vocals. Melodies to die for. And those arrangements...oh man! What are you waiting for? Go get it!

Elvis's gospel singing is his most relaxed and natural singing. I have enjoyed singing songs from the book and I used it at one of my brothers' funeral wich made me feel proud and was dedicated to him, as he introdced me to Elvis in the first place.

I definately find this book very useful, mostly if you want to improve the quality of the songs that you are currently playing. In many cases, we limite the performance because we do not remember or know more complicated chords that help to improve the sound. This book helped me to enlarge my personal music encyclopedia. No doubt about it...buy it!

Clark brings both Granados and his music back to life in a brilliant work that sets new standards for musical biography.

Erroll Garner was a brilliant and unique Jazz pianist. With no formal musical training he devoloped his own completely recognisable style that required excellent technique and rhythmic flexibilty between the two hands.

This volume of sheet music was played to Erroll Garner in 1976 before he died and he was happy with the results. The book is split into 3 main sections 'Garner Swings', 'Garner Ballads' and 'Garner's Latin Moods'. With twenty tunes in total you get a chance to play in the diferent styles that Garner played in. The results (if you can play them!) are very impressive.

In most cases they are based on actual Garner performances, so if you own Concert by the Sea you can listen to Mambo Carmel to find out how the master played it. A discography is provided at the back so you'll know which albums to buy to hear the right versions.

I suspect in a few cases these have been simplified slightly. However apart from the inclusion of a vocal version of Misty, none of these are for beginners! Obviously Garners famous lag canot be notated but the producers of this volume are to be congratulated on the notes they provide on how to interpret the sheet music.

This is difficult to get hold of now, but if you can find a copy its well worth it.
