This book was recommended by another pianist, and what a find! These arrangements are absolutely beautiful and they are quite fun to play, although some are quite challenging. The songs included are: In the Bleak Midwinter; The Holly and the Ivy; Canon de Noel; Good Christians All, Rejoice; O Come, O Come, Emmanuel; Ukrainian Bell Carol; Away in a Manger; Joy to the World; Fantasy on "O Come, Little Children"; 'Twas in the Moon of Wintertime; I Saw Three Ships; Coventry Carol; Christmas Memories; Children, Go Where I Send Thee/Go Tell It On the Mountain; Still, Still, Still. I liked this book so much, I ordered other books of Joseph Martin music.

Christmas: Piano Duets by Hal Leonard Corp. is one of the very best we have found. The selections are varied in type & in arrangement. The length of the songs are long enough to include variations (change of key, rhythm, etc.). We used several selections along with telling how the song was written. We found these to be popular with small audiences in a salon situation (25 to 30 total) The difficulty of the selections is 'easy to average ' for students with several years piano training but also interesting for those advanced students.

A glorious book! If you are searching for a book with easy-to-play carols, this is it. The added bonuses: with each carol you get beautiful and diverse Christmas artwork and a short history of each carol, all on pages with a nice, glossy finish in large, easy-to-see print. This book has all the standards, a few not-so-common but lovely carols, plus some secular favorites. All these things in a very pleasing layout make this a must-have book.

Larry has picked out some of the most favorite hymns in the church today and presented them in a professional solo piano playing setting. Interesting chord substitutes and challenging musical passages will captivate the serious pianist looking for new interpretations of well known hymns. A must buy !

If you like Paul Simon's music, then you'll love this book. It is a collection of all the music from four landmark Paul Simon Albums. "Paul Simon"; "There Goes Rhymin' Simon"; "Hearts and Bones"; & "Graceland".
Arranged for piano/vocal with guitar frames and has full lyrics. I grew up with Simon and Garfunkel music so I really wanted this book so my son could play them on his guitar. I miss these kind of songs!!

This is one of the greatest books on the market for advanced solos of Praise Music. I've used it for preludes for church and weddings and received many compliments. Many of the pieces are ethereal and elevate one to the true meaning of the lyrics.

This book is somewhat similar to Hal Leonard's other classic rock keyboard transcription book, but features a few songs not found in the other one. Although the other reviewer for some reason seemed disappointed by finding all the keyboard parts written out, that is actually the beauty of this book. It's not another PVG book full of cheesy piano arrangements. It's the real keyboard parts, and all of them. Guitarists have been enjoying accurate rock transcriptions for years now, so it's great to see the same kind of material being made available for keyboard. Keep 'em coming!

Phillip Keveren is well-known in the piano world for his arranging. He doesn't disappoint in this book. 15 piano solos include 'The Galway Piper,' 'Jacob's Ladder,' and 'When Johnny Comes Marching Home.'

Buy New, " The Classical Method " is in its 4th. printing revision. Make sure it say's fourth edition on the front cover. Early editions or used copies are not the same. Buy new. Buy new.
