Party The Books

Halloween Party by Lonzo Anderson is currently reigning as my favorite children's book of all time. I first read this book when I was a kindergartner (a few years back). My elementary school was on a quiet little street lined with mature trees and spooky old brick Victorian homes draped in moss. I remember looking out the library window while I was reading and feeling chills.

Faraday Folsum (what a name!) gets lost in the woods en route to a Halloween party. He stumbles upon a birthday party for Otto, the oversized child of some ogres. Faraday hides behind a tree but is discovered when Otto and his witch and goblin friends play hide and seek. Is this the end for Faraday...?

This is not a scary story by today's standards. No one would be frightened; not even the most timid child. The illustrations are incredible, and I think the plot and story line are adorable. The hardcover edition of this book is rather hard to come by, but I have a precious copy all to myself. It sits in among my gazillions of other children's books and beckons to be read from time to time. Find a rare copy of the hardcover edition. It's a great and fun read!

This is a great book for any young Hannah Montana fan. Great for a young reader aged 8 years and up.

The Candyland books are superbly illustrated. My children love the realistic pictures of the candy. Warning: they may get hungry.

This boy Ronald Morgan has a bad and sad life.His birthday is on Friday.But something happen.Thursday school is over for the year.Ronald Morgans life is ruin because his class isn't going to celebrate his birthday.
I think that when the author Patricia Reilly writes a story it means that she likes what she is writing about.The author discribes Ronald Morgans feeling.Ronald Morgan has one feeling,sad.He wants a puppy for his birthday.Is he going to get his puppy?
I didn't want to put this book down because I didn't know if they where going to celebrate his birthday.I definitely wanted to know what was going to happen next.This book was really exciting and amazing.I recommend it to anyone who likes Patricia Reilly Giff because she made me get on Ronald Morgan shoes.I also recommend it to the ones who like fiction books because they are fun.This book made me feel sad at the beginning,But at the end it made me feel happy.I like it because how they discribed his feelings.I liked it because how they acted like they didn't know about his birthday.

i'm really a fan of all of michelle knudsen's books, especially library lion, so i looked into some of her other books. her sparkle n shimmer books make great gifts for little ones on holidays. my daughter loves them!

My son LOVES this book. We have been reading it to him since he was about 14 months old and now he is 26months and still LOVES it.

It's a rhyming book with really fun verbage. It's not at all scary so, no need to worry about that. The illustrations are supurb. He really like the way the characters on the cover move!

This is just a really fun book for halloween and even anytime. The one we have is worn so, I am going to buy another one. This is a book to keep for all your children.

When a young lad organizes a Halloween party, he doesn't realize that it is all of the uninvited guests who will cause him so much trouble. Ogres, witches, skeletons, and other horrors join his party, freely mingling with his costumed friends (who don't notice a thing!). However, when the uninvited guests begin to trash his home, the hero of the story lectures them and starts them to clean the mess they've made. But, can they clean the mess before his parents arrive?

This cute book is presented all in rhyme, but the rhythm of the text is so lose, that it does not become oppressive (e.g. out/ home/ afternoon/ phone/ plans/ here/ not/ fear.). The illustrations (one page-sized picture for each page of text) are quite quirky, and add a lot to the general feel of the book. My seven-year-old son enjoyed this book immensely. He did not find the rhyming too heavy, so I wouldn't let that worry you.

Overall, this is a great book.

This book gives great menu plans and fun ideas for parties. I bought this over on one of my trips to Maui, and came home to try and buy more to give as gifts for upcoming birthdays!

Bought this for our daughter today. When I gave it to her she said "hello kitty"...we like Hello Kitty! She sat down and wanted to read it with Daddy!
Board Books are very nice for this age group.
Books make the best gift.
This Hello Kitty is very colorful and with all the numbers to count is very much learning.
