As is usual with Scott Hahn, we "cradle Catholics" benefit from his "new eyes" when taking a closeer look at who we are as Catholics and why we do what we have been doing for, well, 2,000 years. This book was very enjoyable. It made many things "click" and I recommend it to any Catholic looking for ways to enrich their communion in Christ and the Church.

This was a very informative, yet readable book. I would recommend this to all Christians!

I had an immediate paradigm-shift when I read about the relationship between Revelation and the celebration of the Liturgy - The incense, the garbs, the altar, and more importantly the words we sometimes echo without feeling or thinking of the real meaning of it all... "Holy, Holy, Holy,", and the "LAMB of GOD" now echos in my heart during mass. The Liturgy for me is now Heaven on Earth for I place myself in the book of Revelation and am connected to an altered state I can't explain. If you are a Catholic and are going "through the motions" at mass. Please read this book. You will never look at mass the same way again.
I would like to recommend "Reasons to Believe: How to Understand, Explain, and Defend the Catholic Faith". Believe it or not it's also a good start in educating the lay Catholic person. PEACE!!

I'm surprised at how well received this man's opines are within the Catholic community; perhaps this is due to Hahn's remarkable capacity to pull biblical passages out of his hat with startling acuity. As increasing numbers of Catholics turn to reading the texts outside the Mass and Lectionary, people will be less impressed with Hahn's Biblical gymnastics. Hahn converted via an academic spiritual exercise, i.e., Pedantic Enlightenment. His musings turn Catholicism into a hybrid Protestantism, which misrepresents his newfound faith. With a heavy hands in "The Lamb's Supper," Hahn inserts Revelation into the body of the Mass. Hahn demonstrates his phenomenal Protestant fascination with the end of the world. Reliably, Hahn again provides a theology infused with his special brand of Spiritual Velveeta, lacking deep historical, spiritual, and theological understanding. Beware those cutesy chapter subtitles: "Stealing My Thunder," (who would dare, Dr. Hahn?), "Moriah Carry," the repellent "Victim's Rites," "Extrasensory Censers," and the nauseating "Oath Meal," to name a few.

For someone who emphasizes that his conversion occurred due to his liberation from Protestant sola scriptura, Hahn remains remarkably laden with words, boxed into Biblical frameworks. Hahn squeezes out faith from memorizing and breaking down Old and New Testament passages into digestible chunks, sucking the juice of wisdom dry, and regurgitating the remains to a vast and adoring audience. He lacks the expertise of Rabbinical scholars in the Judaic tradition of intimately examining and memorizing scripture. Hahn relies on quoting biblical passages and citing their numbers, missing the bigger, far more complex picture. In all this detail, this plethora of words, however accurate, Hahn remains somehow incapable of complex analysis. In his personal process of "divinization," he displays zealous New Revelation Catholicism; for him, deep worship via Mass is simply inadequate to feed his narcissism. He must again reinvent the wheel for the rest of us, and with typical heavily-Hahndedness smother the Mass with Revelation.

I have yet to read this book, but it is in good condition.

This book is one of the best autobiographies I've ever read. Not only is it filled with details of Patti's life, it also takes you to the lessons that she's learned from the time when she was a shy little girl, to life as a megastar. This book will truly touch your heart as you cheer on the diva that is Patti LaBelle.

Congratulations, A reflective autobiography with some depth and truth. Before reading Patti's, I read Aretha's, which I ultimately felt like tossing in the middle of the street! Great job! I thought the book was very inviting to the personal side of Patti. I have always admired how forthcoming she has been with the public in relation to her late sisters. This book can truly encourage one to live life, as well as love and appreciate life.
However, there are a few things I would like to clear up, which I found inaccurate or inappropriate. The Jackie Wilson episode I found rather distasteful, particularly since he is not around to defend himself(it was o.k. to slander Al Green). Also, as I had to do with Gladys in her book, I need to clarify a few inaccurate points you raised in your book. In reading your relationship with Atlantic Records in the 1960's, one is left with the impression your group wasn't given a fair shot due to the success of Aretha. Well, that's not totally true, since you were with the label two years before she signed on. It just wasn't your time yet! Now is your time. You sound greater and look more beautiful than ever. You have a wonderful spirit in which people adore you far and near. You are truly a blessing. Wonderful job.

Patty LaBelle is amazing. She has an incredible voice, a career full of ups and downs, and can bring down the house in concert. This book is just another triumph for a lady who deserves all the accolades she receives. With absolute honesty, she reveals so much about her life--from sexual abuse to the fear of dying of cancer like her sisters and good friend--you feel that Ms. LaBelle has given you all that she can. Throughout her life, she has faced a good deal of challenges but has emerged with a positive attitude about life and can still entertain with the best of them. I have seen her in concert 3 times and she blew me away each time. This book does the same. After reading the dismal biography of Aretha Franklin (From the Roots), I realized what a gem this is. If you wanna read a really good book about an incredible entertainer, give this one a go. Its worth every penny!

PATTI takes you on a journey-from the Bluebelles, to LaBelle and through her solo career. She talks about her battles with her self-esteem, record companies, men and THE TRAGIC deaths of sisters. Did you know that NONA had a nervous break down during one the LaBelle concerts-and was taken to the hospital in restraints? WOW! This lead to the break-up of LaBelle! Pick this one up and you'll find out much more.

Again, Beverly Lewis has captured our hearts with her wonderful-gut stories. This series takes us through the family's blessed times and
their heartaches over a period of seventeen or so years. The other
viewers have already set the plot in motion, so I'll just say you'll
fall in love with and will treasure this Amish family in your heart.
It's hard to say good-bye but you'll be glad you were a part of this
family and their "Plain" lifestyle. It is a captivating story which
you will cherish!

I enjoyed reading these books. They are very well written and describe the Amish life in detail.

Beverly Lewis is such a talented writer. Her books are full of twists that keep you reading one book after the other. They are full of romantic stories without the modern day smut!

This story line had me reading and reading just to find out what happens next. What wonderful twists and turns! THE best of the Beverly Lewis books. Nice display of everyday Amish life. Money well spent for hours of pleasure reading. The second reading is even better than the hurried fist.

I love this series!! Beverly Lewis has such a wonderful talent in writing about the Amish and keeping you turing the page. I couldn't wait to read the next book after finishing one. GREAT SERIES!!

This book may be one of the MOST vital books written in centuries.
The author has taken extensive time and intellect to research and compile critical evidence that the Book of Revelation was written about 65A.D. instead of the widely accepted date of 90A.D. by John.
The Revelation was a book of warning that added to the Olivet Discourse by Jesus in Matt. 24 in which the Jewish Believers were warned to flee the city of Jerusalem when they saw the "signs" appearing. Josephus, the Jewish eyewitness of those event, records some of those signs in the Jewish Wars (Book 6, chapter 5). Jesus told the people that the "end of the age" (i.e. the Old Covenant) would end with the destruction of the Holy City. He told them to flee, and Eusebius reports that not one of those Believers died because they followed the instructions of Jesus (which he told them about 40 years before Jerusalem was destroyed by the Roman Army.
Christianity today is riddled with misguided theology that is based on Revelation being a book that was written AFTER the fall of Jerusalem. With such incorrect dating, the Revelation becomes a book of historical extrapolation that defies the mind, logic and reason.
This book gives clear, concise EVIDENCE that Revelation is a book of Prophecy written in the Apocalyptic style (which the Jewish people did understand over centuries of time). The metaphorical and radical style of writing was very much in tune with the "signs and wonders" that Jesus spoke of in the Olivet Discourse of Matt. 24 and following.
Every Christian who believes in the Dispensational view (which was started in 1840 by one man) should receive enlightenment by this fantastic book which has never been held up to any ridicule in over 10 years since its publication.
As a Biblical student with more than 40 years of study in the Revelation, I can readily testify that this is one of the most vital books ever written. It has the realistic power to expose major mistakes in modern theology.
This book will rank alongside Dr. John Noe and his expose on the historical evidence that bears the truth about God's Word that has been desperately mishandled by misguided human agents of falsehood.
The book End Times Madness also shed the same light on the real truth of prophecy.
Cudos to this author for "rightly dividing the Word of Truth"!!

If you are looking for a scholarly presentation of the view of the early dating of Revelation, this book is a must read. The author has done an amazing job of gathering sources from ancient historians and church fathers alike.

Whether you agree with preterism or not, this book is a wonderful addition to any Christian's library. This book carefully examines all of the arguments and assumptions of a late date for the orginal manuscript for John's apocolypse and shows the strength of early date arguments.

This book is a gem of scholarly research. When all the data is pieced together the preterist eschatology is quite compelling. Gentry respectfully reviews the arguments from the late-date scholars and shows that most (but not all) of the evidence comes down to one quotation of Irenaeus. Then Gentry pieces all of Revelation's internal evidence together with the historical record to provide a very convincing case for the a pre-A.D 70 date. When everything comes together, the book of Revelation is far less mysterious. The preterist viewpoint also resolves many problematic prophetic verses from Daniel and the Olivet Discourse.

This book is an excellent defense of a view held by the minority. The book is thoroughly researched and the ideas are fully discussed. The level of detail in this book might bore some of the readers.

Ken Gentry uses internal evidence from the Bible and external evidence to make his case. This is unlike many of those who hold to a late date for Revelation but use mostly external evidence to defend it.

For those people who want a thorough defense of the early date of Revelation, this is an excellent choice. Those who do not wish to wade through such an academic book might wish to look at another of Gentry's books, The Beast of Revelation. This book finishes with a condensed version of the arguments in Before Jerusalem Fell.

I read this book from start to finish and could not put it down. It's a real experience of visiting Heaven. The thing about this book that is so special is all the amazing details the way she describes and answers so many questions that we have here on earth that can't be answered. You really begin to picture it and I actually had a dream while reading it. I was in the most beautiful place I had ever seen. I remember thinking not even the richest person in the world could afford this place. I had never seen anything with these amazing colors. And how clean and pure it looked. This is my experience and it's a little hint as to what the book is like. I hope you read and share with others.

One of the finest piece of literature I have ever read. It depicts heaven exactly as we all hope that it is. Every household should have this one on the bookshelf. Keep it around to re-read when grief enters your life.

I first read this precious book, when a friend sent it to me, after my husbands death.
It was such a comfort.
Now I send it, hoping it will help and comfort some one else.

I first read 'Intra Muros' in the late 1970s.
Although I realize it is not absolutely the truth, it gave me such a peace about death and the hereafter, I passed the book on to another.
At one time I bought 24 of them to pass around. Not one came back to me.
Isn't that wonderful!
Now I am doing the same thing with 'My Dream of Heaven'.
I wish everyone would/could read it.

This is a wonderful book to own for yourself or give as a gift to anyone that has had a love one go on before them to heaven. It gives a vivid picture of what heaven is like. You will feel close to heaven and those that have gone on to their reward.
I first read this book when my sister and then my father died in the same year. It was a tremendous source of comfort, and made the vast expanse between us seem so much smaller.
I highly recommend it.

I just finished reading this book and loved it.The stories are warm and insightful to life growing up in the South and how food was the glue that held families and friends together. As someone who lives in the South, the recipes are true to the "old" South.

I grew up in Southern Virginia and while I come from a white middle class background, we still enjoyed many of the dishes, Miss Edna writes about in this book with Scott. Unfortunately I didn't appreciate the importance of my 'food' heritage until it was too late - both grandmothers were gone and all their recipes and tips with them. While this book is a delightful read on its own and provoked many a trip down 'Memory Lane' I am enjoying the challenge of recreating my childhood memories with Miss Edna and Scott's well-written recipes. If you are a Virginian and over 50, this book should hold pride & place on your shelf - but I'll wager it spends more time open than many of your fancy new cookbooks!

The Gift of Southern Cooking is one of the best collections of pure southern cooking to be found, from a grand dame of the South. These recipes preserve much of the history of southern food, handed down from generation-to-generation, and brought to life in the inspired talent of Scott Peacock.

I have all of the late Edna Lewis's cookbooks. She wrote so beautifully and her recipes never fail. This is one of her best. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful book, full of insight, basic instruction, social and historical instruction. I bought this book after finding one recipe from it online for Fried Chicken. What I found was book full of my childhood memories. The authors have managed to fill me in on why I do certain things in the kitchen that were done only because I seem to remember my grandmother doing them or an aunt saying it should be done that way. This book inspired me to make my first batch of sweet southern pickles and they came out just as I remember available at every home we visited during my youth. They came out so delicious that I immediately made a second batch to give as Christmas presents.
For anyone interested in southern cooking and the reasons for things being done in a certain way, this is the book for you.

I highly recommend this to people considering converting to the Catholic faith or those who are new in it. I would even suggest it to "cradle Catholics" like myself because we all need a refresher on what our faith really is. The conglomeration of different authors is a brilliant idea because it gives the reader different perspectives. The authors are connected to the Franciscan University at Steubenville, which some priests have told me is the best Catholic university in the country. This book is heavily based on the Scriptures and very enlightening. It gives the big picture that we are God's family and He loves us.

Scott Hahn is without question the most popular and important Catholic apologist in today's world. Not only is he an incredibly gifted author but he is also a very dynamic speaker as well. His efforts have not only helped many of the Catholic faithful to better understand our faith but he has also been instrumental in the conversion process for many new Catholics. He himself was a Protestant minister until he began to examine scripture more closely and found a home in the Catholic Church.

Most of Dr. Hahn's books are the exclusive work of his brilliant mind and I have yet to read one that didn't teach me many things and help me understand better the things that I thought that I knew. In somewhat of a departure however the good doctor only writes one chapter and serves as co-editor of the rest of the essays that make up this book. Surprisingly, Dr. Hahn's chapter is not the best one to be found within this collection but among such other fine works that is nothing to be ashamed of. Among the best chapters are those by Curtis Martin, Kris Gray, Timothy Gray and Kimberly Hahn all of whom shine in a sky full of stars.

The basic theme for this collection of essays is the Church as the family of God (familia Dei) and each and every chapter deals with some aspect of this reality. From chapters on Our Lady's role as our mother, Divine sonship, the Church as the bride of Christ and the reality of Purgatory to the use of the term Father when addressing a Priest this book covers many interesting facets of our Catholic family. Best of all everything is explained in an easy to read and understand method with the authors not assuming that we are all as well educated in the Faith as they are.

There are a few negative aspects of this book however that deserve some attention. In any collection of essays some will be better than others and that is certainly the case here. None of the essays are bad, or even average for that matter but some of them are just a bit dry in places. Another problem is that some of the authors tend to use way too many quotes, one of which is so long that it takes up an entire page. Some quotations are reasonable and necessary but some of these authors push the limits a little too far. One other point that registers as both a negative and a positive is the somewhat repetitive nature of some essays. It is excellent that the main them is discussed time and again and that the subject is never far from the surface but too often I found myself thinking that I must have lost my place because I had read the same exact thing just minutes ago. I don't know how this could have been avoided but it was sometimes disconcerting.

There is much to know about the Catholic Faith and despite some minor flaws Dr. Hahn and company have done a marvelous job of explaining some of the very basics of Church teaching. They are not mean spirited or pompous as they explain to us less educated Catholics some things that we really should have known already. This book can justifiably be touted as another winner in the Hahn collection.

If you want to take a leap in your faith, this is the book for you. The depth of the book is fantastic and should be read over and over for it to sink in. I am buying 5 more copies to give to my closes friends...and I have never done that before. Need I say more.

Today the number of Catholics that do no go to mass, or do not have a clear idea why go to mass at all, is immense. Catholic for a reason is an excellent tool in helping those Catholics to come to know and love the Faith they received at baptism. Great book!

One of the best channeled books you can get. Insightful, great language, touching. Highly recommended.

This book is one of several I have recently purchased that offer alternative explanations of human history and the nature of reality. The author's source is alleged to be from the Sirius star system, which may or may not be true. The content and style is very similar to books purportedly channelled from Pleiadian contacts, and is likewise short on specifics. There are some excellent pieces of advice on how to live your life, but these gel with what can be read elsewhere in New Age literature. I suspect that it is the book's material on the multi-dimensional aspect of life which has inspired readers, although the ideas presented will be already familiar to students of quantum theory.

The consistent theme of the book is that our national governments and important global institutions are controlled by a powerful, and interconnected cabal, and always have been. These people are related by DNA to those extraterrestrials who engineered the Fall of Man. They maintain humanity in a confused, ignorant, and helpless state of mind, by manipulating conflicts and spreading negativity. This is done through a matrix of twisted religion, controlled media, and a blatantly false understanding of history.

Salvation comes when one recognizes this predicament, separates oneself from old habits and ways of thinking, and begins to live in harmony with what one truly is. This will gradually re-align one's DNA to embrace a higher dimension of existence. In other words it is a long winded way of saying that, only you, and not some outside agent or savior, are responsible to save you from yourself - not a popular idea.

I have read all three of her books in just under two weeks, I could not put them down! ... and after reading many, many books in this arena and in the general metaphysical spiritual realm I have never received so much wonderfully, synergistic, synchronistic, thought provoking, resonating material as I have with Patricia's books. If you've been drawn to this title, this book will change your life. For me it was like finding answers to so many questions I'd had all my life. It is a MUST READ for anyone on an ascension path. I recommend reading Cosmos of the soul and Atlantis Rising first, to lay the groundwork, but I did not, and No More Lies blew me away. Rated very high on my Truthometer. Do not miss these books.

She seems very serious. There is a lot of gloom and doom. She says dispose of your microwaves, contact your supermarkets and express your concern, write to your media to petition your objection to subliminal advertising, and she goes on. There is a lot of information here, if true it seems pretty bad and might be good to know. But book reads a little pushy and demanding. If you did some of the things she professess after reading the book people would think you were psycho.

Having studied Biblical Prophecy for well over thirty years, and read just about every contemporary work on the subject (and many pre 20th century ones as well), it seems unlikely that anyone could (or would) have the ability and insight to rethink the well established and widely held position of traditional Biblical eschatology.

There is no shortage of available material for insight or interest of the end times. "Last days" novels and nonfiction have been a hot topic since the publication of Hal Lindsey's "Late Great Planet Earth," a book that introduced an entire generation to the veracity of Biblical prophecy.
It had been said, "If you can't understand the correlation between Biblical prophecy and the every day news by chapter eleven, you most likely never will." Hal was right back in 1970, and the New York Time recognized "Late Great" as the No. 1 non-fiction bestseller of the decade."

Biblical prophecy uniquely sets its own standard: 100% accuracy and nothing less. The evangelical community has essentially followed a similar linear summary with division in minor areas of technical detail.

David Lowe demonstrates an exceptional familiarity and facility with both historic and prophetic Scripture with meticulous attention to the significance of every detail in every sense. The compilation of accumulated examples is a remarkable and intensive effort in and of itself.

With impressive documentation and parallelism, obscure references are captured for use in comparative text and developed using the standard that pattern characterizes prediction and the future finds its definition in the past.

With the use of these comparisons and measurements, Mr. Lowe then assembles these elements and astoundingly produces a comprehensive and fascinating model, while never compromising the integrity of the text.

18 months after my first reading of "Earthquake Resurrection" it seems to be becoming apparent that prophetic events are escalating and the tenets of David Lowe's presentation increasingly realistic and logical.

"Earthquake Resurrection" has boldly provided fresh and intriguing insight and is exceptionally intriguing and compelling.

How about an audio version? It would be of such benefit for so many otherwise unable to appreciate the insights on the pages of "Earthquake Resurrection."

Upside: Prophetically there were some very fresh and new insights that were well laid out scripturally. I have been studying biblical prophecy for many years...this book put some pieces in place, for example, who are the 144,000, the 24 elders, the rider on the white horse. All explanations were more insightful and more easily understood than anything I have read anywhere else.

Downside: Theology of man's salvation in the book is somewhat Arminian/Charismatic with dogmatic assumptions concerning the sovereign power of man's free will without any scriptural context. Explanation of the Olive Tree was less than edifying, implying that we Gentiles in Christ have Jewish Roots. The mystery of the Church is better understood by reading earlier authors such as William R. Newell.

At a time when the most influential books on end times prophecy are found in the fiction aisle of your local bookstore, and those books spawn a mini-industry of spinoffs, movies, and, soon, video games, it is telling that the most original thinking and writing on interpreting biblical prophecy comes from authors who are publishing independently. Whether this is because they prefer to retain control over their ideas or because they weren't able to interest Tyndale House, Zondervan, or Nelson, I don't know. I strongly suggest, however, that anyone interested in putting the theology of Left Behind to the test look up Red Moon Rising by Peter D. Goodgame, The Nephilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse by Patrick Heron, or--if fiction is your preference--The Facade by Dr. Michael S. Heiser.

To this list, let me add Earthquake Resurrection by David W. Lowe.

In Earthquake Resurrection, Lowe presents a thoughtful study of the timeline of the apocalypse--with a twist. Choosing to build his thesis on a new foundation rather than choosing from the traditional pre-, mid-, or post-tribulation models, or even the newer "pre-wrath" construct, Lowe offers a well-reasoned argument for what he calls a "Pre-70th Week" rapture of believers in Jesus Christ.

Lowe makes a case for the first five seals of the book of Revelation being open today and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse already loose upon the Earth. Interestingly, he identifies the rider on the white horse not as the Antichrist, as do many students of eschatology, but as the spirit of conquering in the name of Christ; i.e., the Roman Catholic Church throughout most of the last 1,600 years (and, I would add, the streak of Dominionism or "Kingdom Now" theology that appears to have gripped modern American Christianity).

The twist Lowe presents is this: He suggests, based on the account of Jesus' resurrection preserved in the gospel of Matthew and the prophecy of the two witnesses in the Book of Revelation, that the energy released by the prophesied resurrection of millions into immortal, "glorified" bodies will be the catalyst that triggers the global cataclysm prophets said would accompany the "great and terrible Day of the Lord". Among his evidence is an interesting side trip through the history of and debate surrounding the Shroud of Turin.

Earthquake Resurrection is well organized and economically written, and Lowe presents a helpful timeline chart at the beginning of each chapter to help the reader assemble the narrative into a cohesive picture of the coming apocalypse. He doesn't try to speculate, avoiding the temptation to tie political predictions to specific prophecies. He simply lays out the evidence and draws logical conclusions.

All in all, Earthquake Resurrection is a valuable addition to the library of anyone interested in a serious study of end times prophecy.

The back cover of a new book by David Lowe says that a model for future events that could challenge the traditional interpretation of Biblical prophecy exists. Earthquake Resurrection presents this thesis by looking at "natural" catastrophe in a way not seen before in prophecy books.

But let me back up.

Doesn't it feel sometimes like catastrophe has a mind of its own, intentionally saving itself for the most inopportune time? Take for instance the other day. There I was, enjoying a little CHRISTmas time with the family, bouncing the grandbaby on my knee and heading into the new year feeling just fine, when out of the blue the manager of the conference grounds where I'd been conducting charity reconstruction over the last seven years calls to let me know that the side of the mountain [not too far from Three Sisters mountain range in Oregon where an ancient volcano is awakening] had fallen onto the property, burying some of the assets, vehicles, and a building.

So... just like that, the vacation was over, time to go back to work, raise some more money, build morale among the troops, forget the holidays.

But as I was preparing to make my way back to the camp, I received an email from author David Lowe, wanting to know if I had reviewed his book, Earthquake Resurrection. I explained to David that his title--together with a pile of others I was supposed to be reviewing--was sitting on a "review" counter back at the office and that the Jefferson County Sheriff--a BIG country boy you don't mess with, a guy we refer to around here as Robocop--wasn't letting anybody near the building, given the instability of the slope.

David understood the situation, and emailed me a PDF version of the book so that in my spare time [ha!] I could began reading it.

I agreed, but soon after, was not sure I had made the right decision. The little burp on the side of my mountain was feeling small in comparison to what Lowe was forecasting, and the earth changes along the Three Sisters volcanic range nearby was taking on a portentous feel in light of his research. My thoughts drifted to the ominous Yellowstone supervolcano system, ruptures of the New Madrid and San Andreas fault zones, Mount St. Helen's behaving erratically, Mauna Loa growling, Cumbre Vieja shaking off the coast of Africa, Mount Belinda erupting on one side of the world while simultaneously Mount Augustine was going off at the other pole, and I wondered, what's up?

David had an answer, and It troubled me. The earth is reacting to, or perhaps preparing for, the opening of the Sixth Seal of the Book of Revelation, following the first five seals, which, according to Lowe, have already opened. Thus earthquakes, such as have never been seen before, or ever will again, are about to transpire.

This is where Lowe really gets going. And I have to admit, as a twenty-five year veteran of theological review, I had never contemplated the interesting premise Lowe eventually puts forth. Frankly, I wish I had invented the hypothesis. I'm tempted to steal it anyway, to report it as my own, it's that creative.

The "Rapture of the Church," Lowe says--an advent that some people believe will mark the disappearance of a large group of Christians worldwide during a single and unexpected harpazo--will unleash global earthquake activity and related catastrophic weather events as were prophesied in the Bible. This will compliment scientific reasoning because when humans are "resurrected" or changed from mortal to immortal, the restructuring metamorphoses of the body at the atomic and subatomic level unleashes nuclear power. The explanation for such phenomenon is understood within science, whereas the biblical pattern for the theory is redundantly recorded in the scriptures during such times as the resurrection of Matthew 27:51-52, again when Christ Himself arose, and during the resurrection of the two witnesses of Revelation 11.

Other equally thought-provoking and original ideas continue throughout Lowe's excellently researched book, and the author's writing style is clever and easy to follow--a truly insightful argument that in the end possesses broad eschatological and historical significance.

Even if you disagree with Lowe's "rapture" theme, you'll find persuasive reasons to prepare for an imminent event, one that is certain to bring down much more than the side of the mountain behind my campground.

To make a long story short, I loved this book!

I've been studying Bible prophecy regarding the end times for a while, and there were always loose ends that would leave more questions than answers. I believe this author was given a word of knowledge to clearly describe what could happen at the time of the rapture of the church.

Im not gonna write a summary b/c u can read the others! i just wanted to say taht this book is soooo freakin awsome. Its soo good, and im SOOOOOO GALD About Rae and Anthnoy getting 2ghter!! like oMG, ive been waiting for that to happen! and one thing how could u guys have not known who eles was after Rae!!! lIKE OMG IT WAS SOOOO OBVIOUS, OR MYB IM JUST RLY GOOD AT SOLIVING STUFF LIKE THAT!! WELL ANYWAYS IT WAS RLY GOOD< GO AND READ IT A>S>P

This is one of the best series I have ever read. It has a twist of suspense/mystery as well as romance. Rae's ability to hear thoughts through a single fingerprint helps her find out the true secret of her mother. It will also help find who is out to kill her. I couldn't put these books down, I read book 1 - 7 in less than 2 weeks, and i guarntee you will too!

Steve Mercer, the scientist who enhanced the psi abilities of people like her mother, and herself, was finally dead. Rae was definitely ready to put all of this behind her and to move forward. The first step towards being normal again was to get back together with Marcus. He doesn't make Rae feel anywhere near the same as Anthony, but Yana and Anthony totally betrayed her trust and so she is ready to go with someone safe, someone normal. She feels like she has succeeded when she and Marcus are voted Moonbeam King & Queen, but Anthony destroys the evening by telling her that someone still wants her dead.

Anthony wishes that he could relax now that Mercer is dead, but he knows that the danger to Rae is not over. For one thing, someone painted Unclean all over her locker in red and then passed out flyers about Rae's mother all over school. Anthony is trying to protect Rae, but she can hardly stand to be around him.

When Yana shows up, begging Rae for help, Rae really wants to turn her down flat. But when she finds out that Yana's dad wants to send her to Fair Haven, a mental institution, so that she will be out of his way, Rae knows that she has to do something. She could hardly stand to be in that place and can't bear to see someone else locked up there. What Rae doesn't know is that she is in the middle of another deadly game - and this time, Rae's life is the prize...

Book #6 in the Fingerprints series was another great book. The tension is really building and everything is starting to come together and make sense. A lot of my questions were answered here and it is now time for Rae to start making some plans instead of just reacting. Too bad that she seems too stupid to connect the dots! That was my only complaint about this book, that Rae didn't seem able to put the clues together so she was totally clueless near the end of the book. I know that she is smarter than that! Anyway, hopefully you have read the first 5 books in the series so you know what is going on, and, if not, I would highly recommend reading them first. For the first time, there is actually some closure at the end of this book, but we know that Rae's story is far from over. Keep #7 ready to find out what happens to Rae & Anthony next!

This book is grat it has so many turns and twists rea is finally back with marcus but then her secret about her mom is reavealed and marcus is embaresed of her on top of that yana's dad wants to get rid of her but douse he the end changes everything and let me give you a hint the 6th book ends almost like the fourth think about it!
I loved it and I hope you will to its the person you least expect

I love all the Fingerprints books, but the last few have been a bit disappointing. But REVELATIONS is a breath of fresh air for the series, it never had me bored.

Rae Voight is mad at her two best - and pretty much only - friends Anthony and Yana. They went out behind her back, and it tore her apart...they "betrayed" her. But on the birght side, she's back with her old boyfriend Marcus, and doesn't want anything to do with Anthony or Yana. Anyway, one day Anthony spots something that he feels Rae needs to know about - a message was written on her locker in red paint, and he thinks it's a warning. When he goes to tell her, she brushes him off, definately letting him know that she isn't interested in what he has to say.

After a while, Rae forgives Yana (she's still mad at Anthony, though) and they start to hang out. That's when Yana tells Rae something really important: Yana's dad is trying to get her put into the same institution that Rae was in after her "episode." Even though Rae isn't very happy with Yana, she decides to help her. But when Rae and Yana run off to escape the doctors, they find themselves in a very dangerous situation.

REVELATIONS is definately my favorite book from the Fingerprints series. The best part? We finally find out who wants Rae dead. A must read.
