Love this software!

I love this software or did... I use to use when I had an older version Windows. I tried to look everywhere for a new version for Windows XP, but I couldn't find it. Then I noticed from one of the reviews, it said the company went out of business. How? It was a great fun software program. I miss being able to use it. Be Careful - won't run on XP

I have this software for Chinese. It is fantastic software and I would highly recommend it. But be careful. I upgraded my computer to XP and the software will not load. It will only run on Win 95 or lower. Also the company that makes the software, is no longer in business, so no tech support (or I assume upgrades) is available.08384473845441999-05-07

Absolutely wonderful!!

I have the German version of this program, and I am very pleased with the content. A basic knowledge of the language is needed to use the program, as all instructions are given only in the target language except in the accompanying booklet, which gives translations as well. The program contains approximately 30 games in the target language, each focusing on a particular aspect of language review, such as prepositional phrases, verb conjugation, etc. There are 3 skill levels to choose from, and the games are challenging, but highly entertaining, offering a great way to review the language when you are just too tired to study for the moment. I highly recommend this for anyone who would like to make the study of another language a little easier. Especialy good for children and teens--if you can operate the computer mouse you aren't too young to play the simpler games. Some of the games included are item matching, following directions to a destination, working with numbers, locating objects in a room, identifying activities, etc. A wonderful way to introduce small children to a foreign language early, too. Actually, I rate this the biggest number ever stars!

Although I haven't read TUCK PARA SIEMPRE, (though I do speak a little Spanish), I read the English version, and anyone who thinks Tuck Everlasting is boring or bad, etc. was dropped on their heads when they were babies! The book was awesome! When my teacher passed it out in the 6th grade, I thought it would be boring, but it turned out to be my absolute favorite! My best friend gave me the book for Christmas a year later, and I've read it several times and cried everytime. Not only was it beautifully written, but I think Jesse and Winnie should have run off together. Sure, living forever wouldn't be peachy, but Jesse would have made it worth her while. <br>If a writer can pull at a reader's heart strings with their books, that's really something, but when the same author can do it to the same reader with the same book, that's incredible, and that is what Natalie Babbitt has done to me.<br>Oh yeah, don't forget-on October 11, the new Disney movie of TUCK EVERLASTING is coming to theatres! They made Winnie 15 so that she and Jesse could get REALLY romantic (and they do),and I'm so happy about it. It made me cry just watching the previews, because it looks beautifully done. ... <br>So, in conclusion, Tuck Everlasting is a story that will stay with me forever, because it has touched my life.03744801175372002-05-06

I heard of that book Tuck para siempre An excellent Spanish-language editon of Natalie Babbitt's classic Tuck Everlasting {Farar}, in which Winnie meets the Tuck family, who have discovered the secret of eternal life.<p>This book Tuck Everlasting and the spanish book Tuck para siempre, Owls in the Family by author Farley Mowat looks like The Official All My Children Trivia Book by the author Gerard J. The Best book I Have Ever Read

The best boks I have ever read u ask? Thats EASY! Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt. Tuck Everlasting is about a 10 year old girl named Winnie Foster who lives in a town called Treegap. One day she stumbles across a "17 year old" guy named Jesse Tuck in the wood her family owns. She fights with him over a spring she comes across and sees him drinking out of. She faints, but when she comes to, she is on the back of Mae Tuck's (Jesse's mom)horse. They take her back to thier cottage and tell her a wonderful story about how they drank from that spring and are now immortal. She stays with the Tucks over night, but a man in a yellow suit had already arranged a deal with her parents: If he can bring Winnie home, they will give him the wood. He tells the Tucks how he is going to market the spring water, and he wants them to help him advertise. Mae gets mad, and in a frantic attempt to save Winnie and the water, she accidentaly kills the man. Jesse gives Winnie a bottle of the water and tells her to wait until she is 17 to drink it so they can get married. I won't give away the ending, but I will tell you that I didn't think it ended the way it was supposed to, and it made me literally cry. I hope it can be as enjoyable for you as it has been for me, and I hope there is a book like it somewhere in the world that I happen to come across.<DIV><DIV>Spanish translation of the story of the Tuck family, doomed to - or blessed with - eternal life after drinking from a magic spring. Though I disagree with the San Francisco Chronicle blurb on the back cover "Told with a playful self-consciousness reminiscent of David Foster Wallace....", I did enjoy the book and will read more of Toscana's books. Thoroughly modern Mexican novel

What a funky, quirky, rich and refreshing story. Unlike anything I've read all year. If you or someone you know loves Mexico, and loves a subtle but hilarious story, AND wants to know one of Mexico's most important contemporary writers, buy this book!It seems fitting for a man being heralded as heir to García Márquez and other Latin American godheads of postmodern circuitousness that the namesake of David Toscana's English debut, <I>Tula Station</I>, is the central image and fulcrum of not only the novel but also any criticism that may be made of it. As the town of Tula's fortune ultimately resides in the government's decision of whether or not to include it on the railway line, so does the book's success depend upon the reader's willingness to separate its three narratives so that they become more than coincidental echoes of one another.<p> Supposedly culled by Toscana from the manuscript of Froylán Gómez, long considered dead, <I>Tula Station</I> continues to toy with the hazy realm between fact and fiction. Gómez is paid to write the biography of Juan Capistrán, the bastard orphan of Tula.
