* Most "up-to-date" textbook in the field of Rheumatology at the moment (the other major textbook have not have the updated edition yet * It has excellent introduction on the basic sciences sections and also it has included some of the newer agent for treating rheumatological disease * It still lacks the quality/quantity of illustrations/pictures as compare to Kippel's Rheumatology, but the written sections have make up most of the deficiency * It's is well organized. * Its content is easy to find. * Excellent reference for General Internist/Rheumatolgist as a reference textbook in the practise

Accepting Domestication is the third collection of Kevin and Kell comic strips, covering September 1997 to August 1998. The online comic strip is about the Dewclaws; Kevin, a rabbit, Kell, a wolf and their two children, Rudy, a wolf and Lindesfarne, a hedgehog. In a world where you next door neighbor could be your next meal, this "mixed" marriage subjects the Dewclaws to a number of inconviences: being looked down upon by Rudy's girlfriend Fiona's parents, a pair of foxes (though it doesn't help that Fiona's father, a fennec fox, is mistaken for a rabbit because of his ears), and occasional threats to Kevin's life (though not serious) by Kell's brother Ralph. That is not to mention the usual tribulations of modern life: trips to school hunting championships, predator retraining at Herdthinners, Inc., threats to be downsized, and getting invited to the Jerry Springer-Spaniel Show. Mr. Holbrook is able to create great characters and stories, while balancing the dictates of the familiar yet unfamilar world that his animal characters inhabit. As an added bonus to this collection is a 10-page "pamphlet" covering Domestication, a dreaded condition when wolves are proud to be decended from the Big Bad Wolf.

Great for the Classroom as Well as for Home

First, the description should read that it is for Grades 4-8,not Ages 4-8, since it speaks to children from about 10 through15. .... A CD is attached inside the front cover and contains 22 single-page forms to help kids organize the information for the specific type of writing assigned or chosen.

After good introductory advice regarding safety and privacy on the Web, chapters include how to write Advice and Opinions, Reviews, Creative Stories and Poems, Features, Sports, and News.

The language is clear and to the point and the graphics on each side explain when to use the CD [and other resources], short notes on specific advice regarding each type of writing, and examples of real kids who have done something that would be interesting to write about.

This book would be a welcome addition to any Language Arts or Journalism class and would definitely get kids excited about writing. .... I believe even those who groan when a writing assignment is given will eagerly look forward to working on these assignments for they will see their work on the Web and know that children and adults around the world will be reading their ideas. (Note: Only first names and last initials are used to protect children's privacy.)

I have been to Renaissance Faires, but this book took me behind the scenes in a way that I never imagined possible. The characters are touching and the action brisk, with the 'voice' of the writer/main character making me feel like he was seated in a pub telling me the story. And much of it(if the forword is to be believed) is true. All the more engaging.
Unlike any of Mr. Glenn's fantasy's but engaging and with his usual great action scenes...

I did not know a thing about medical terms!

Within the first hour, you are not only understanding them, but You are also able to "link" together combining forms, and know what you are doing!

This book was fantastic, and I really did not have much desire to learn any medical terms in the beginning. It is now "well worn" and my brain and coding experience is the better for it.

I will always have this on my shelf. I also bought the "Instant Translator", based on the incredible info in the Language of Medicine, 7th Edition. I don't use it as much, because it is all covered in the "big guy", (although to carry around for a "quick" translation or abbreviation is awesome).

You will not be sorry with this book!

This book has long held a cherished space on my bookcase, and it just keeps getting better. With the 700 page third edition, authors Carole Levitt and Mark Rosch have outdone themselves in collecting sources for everything to doing background checks on employees to doing competitive intelligence - and everything in between. While it is invaluble for lawyers, anyone can benfit from using this book - and the language is plain English, not legalese. The book is user-friendly, with lots of screen shots, and comes with a CD-ROM so you can click on hyperlinks without typing in URLs. All in all, this is a terrific compendium of Internet research sources - bravo!

When I ordered the first set of the Montessori Books I wasn't sure about what I going to get. But being familiar with the Montessori teaching method, I thought I give it a try. My sons love these books and activities. The fact that I can click a particular word and the activity repeats it really helped both my sons. I'm glad I took a chance and will continue with all the levels.
