Because I have read loads of R.L. Stine books I kinda know how to figure out the killer in his books. When I read this book (which I finished in two hours) I almost instantly knew who the killer was (the killer is always the one who is NOT the obvious one at all and the one you get to read the most little of) so I was like, ok it is this person now let's read on if I am right. But hey near the end I saw I was right but then suddenly this big twist came along and I was wrong! the killer was someone else. The killer surprised me. I thought this book was really well written and keeps you pageturning. It is a lot better then call waiting. read it.

WOW! This book is very cool. Just when you think you know who is doing the crimes, a crucial piece of evidence could be found and your thought is completly different. The way R.L. Sine writes his books is superb. If you are interested in reading this book, take it from me, READ IT!!!!! If you enjoy this book, read Hit and Run also.

Man! that was a good book! I Saw You that Nigh: what a great title! The Author of the book is R.L. Stine and he know, how to write great suspense. He keeps you waiting and waiting to find out what happened, but you never know what he is talking about because he know how to write suspense.
One of the beliefs that I had is that the girl`s boyfriend was the killer. The reason for that was because another boy she liked told her that her boyfriend was the killer and I believed it as well.
The second belief I had was that she might of died because the guy on the boat kept backing into her with the boat until he could not see her head above the water.
A third belief of mine was that her boyfriend was dead because the boy on the boat stabbed him in the throat because he was trying to help his girlfriend out. I think that it was a good part of the book, also.
My final belief was that the book was over because the girl had said looks like I won, Then as I read, the girl had got a phone call and it said I saw you that night.

Some of the things that surprised me in this book is that the innocent one is always the one that is the killer. The guy in the story is always popping up everywhere. No one even knew it was him. I was thinking it, but I could not really find out until I knew all the facts about the person and where he came from.
R.L Stine seems to be the only book I read now-a- days. That`s actually amazing! I spend all my extra time reading and being myself. R.L. Stine made me realize that reading is fun and it teaches you things as you go.
Another thing that was unbelievable is the way he sets he stories up. He goes past present then back to past. It`s like having day dreams. He made sure no one knew what he was talking about until the very end and that`s what all writers should do, but they donýt always do that.
One thing that surprised me was the way his descriptive words were used in this book. He described each scene. I could imagine myself there. He is a very good writer and I wish I was as good as he is.

... My true opinion is that this is a good piece because the author is a good suspense writer. He keeps you guessing on what is going to happen until you believe that you are right and until you are down with story. If he had a choice I bet he would keep you going until he wanted to end the story. I think everyone should read at least one of his books. Either thought they might not like these kind of books, I think they are great, and I hope the author keeps writing stories like this one. I am a person that loves to read. I have read almost all of his books. I hope to be able to get some of his books to. Everyone thinks I am crazy about those books but if you really like to read them what is the harm of reading them. Well I hope you all will read this book it really is a good book. I also hope all of you read other stories of R.L. Stine but if you donýt you are missing out on great books!

I think this book was a real TWIST. I mean when you choose something something may seem like the best one while it could be the worst one. Like the elevator for an example if you go in it, it will go up so much it will give you a:"or mayby--SPLAT! I like this book it took me probaly about 7-9 months to figure out this book. the main plot was a evil super computer taking over the hall of science. I love GOOSEBUMPS BOOKS. I had had the biggest goosebumps collection in my 3rd grade class.

and thats why I would give it five stars --from Corey Johns

Eddie and his three sixth-grade friends (Hat, Molly, and Charlene) want to scare their fellow classmate (Courtney) as revenge for teasing them and always appearing braver than they are. So they try with a fake snake, a tarantula, and a "rabid" Saint Bernard--but all three plans backfire. Will they ever be able to scare Courtney?

As in most of Stine's books, "You Can't Scare Me!" is funny in spots (mainly at the beginning). But the end-of-chapter cliffhangers were overused (as usual), and the ending was disappointing and inconclusive (what happened to the Mud Monsters?). Still, loyal Goosebumps fans should like this one all the same.

This book isn't all that bad really! It really makes you angry I'll tell you that though it makes you want to punch Eddie's enemy Courtney RIGHT IN THE FACE! But with that out of the way...

This is about a story of a kid named Eddie and his friend who continually try to scare Courtney a stupid snobby know-it-all girl who says she'll never get scared. But Eddie and his friend are more then determined to scare the ... out her her, so they make up a series of plans, all of which backfire and smash into their faces.

Then they have a great plan, one that would truely scare the whits out of Courtney no doubt...

To find out what happens READ THE BOOK!

Besides that, it was fun and interesting. Almost like playing a game.

You had terrible dreams last night. When you wake up, you're not in your room. You're in a creepy old house and you can't remember your name. If you sneak out the window, you'll face the aliens who took away your memory. If you hide, you'll face some werewolves.

This is a very good book. It's a book all about you. You decide what will happen by following the instructions on the bottom of the page. It's like choosing your own adventure. You wake up with a jolt. What a scary nightmare! You were trapped in a strange place -- you were being chased -- and you had no idea who you were! You sure are glad it's over. But as you stretch and look around, you realize you are in a strange place -- and you can't remember your own name! There's a loud banging on the door. Who is it? A friend or an enemy? Do you tell whoever is behind your story? Or hide and hope they will go away? One thing is for sure. You have to find out who you are, and how to get home -- fast! I had read this book over and over again -- it's so thrilling! My mom had to shout three times before I finally stopped reading and realized it was 1 in the morning! I couldn't put the book down until I had read every page in the book! I recommend this book to kids 9 to 12 -- if you are older than that you'd think it's babish and think low of my hero -- R. L. Stine, who wrote this book. Everyone, buy this book right now before they get out of stock!

Another great series of books for RL Stine. These keep kids attention and have them coming back for more. If you are trying to get your kids into Chapter books, then get these. They are entertaining and funny and most of them if not all are worth AR points. They are a fun read, so good your little will probably have it read before the end of the day. That is a great accomplishment for a child to read a chapter book in less than a day. These are super funny, cool, and entertaining and all the kids LOVE them.

An Outstanding Start for a Book Series!

I got this book back in 2005 when the series started. Personally, I think this is a very good book if you enjoy mysteries and smart stories. I think this book is a great start for a book series because you keep wanting to read on and on when you start to read it. In fact, I finished this book just in TWO days because I enjoyed it so much. As a fan of this book series for two years, I really recommend other kids to read this wonderful series. It has a lot of very funny and smart scenes.

The series is basically about a fourth grader named Bernie Bridges who got sent to a boarding school called Rotten School. There in the campus, he often gets in trouble. Also, he has a huge crush on a girl called April May June, so he often tries to get her attention and impress her. There are two dorms for the boys-"Nyce House" and "Rotten House". Rotten House is where Bernie and his friends stay at and Nyce House is where Bernie and his friends' enemies stay at. The two sides have a rivalry, so they often compete against each other in events.

That's basically all I can tell you right now because I don't want to spoil anything for you.

These books are GREAT!

This is the first in a new series from beloved children's author R. L. Stine of Goosebumps fame. Bernie Bridges wants Sherman Oaks' fancy new watch. How will he get it? He challenges the residents of Sherman's residential home to a pie eating contest. They will pick a representative for them and Bernie's group will choose a person to represent them. Of course, Bernie has a secret plan. Will it work? You will have to read the book to find out. The Big Blueberry Barf-Off will appeal to most school kids between 8 and 12 years of age. A departure from the Goosebumps style it is a good read filled with descriptions of the gross and messy stuff children that age like to read about while still providing an interesting story with plenty of twists and turns. This series should appeal to boys where other titles often fail.
