A short mystery, but worth your while!

This 4th episode of the "Seniors" Saga is also one of the shortest. This episode features Clarissa Turner, her friend Mira Block (a newcomer to the series) and her friend Will Turner. Fans can read about Clarissa and Will prior to this book,(In the yearbook.)but Mira's information come later on. Clarissa lost her sister Justine, to a freak accident, but was it an accident? The story opens with Clarissa just getting back to school after seeing a shrink and attending a clinic. Apparently her sister's death was very traumatic for her and she was getting professional help. No sooner does Clarissa get back to her normal routine, she is visited by the ghost of her dead sister, who tries to send her a message.
With the help of Debra Lake and Mira Block, Clarissa sets out to solve the mystery behind her sister's death. This includes calling a psychic, finding old journals, and revisiting her hangouts. Clarissa soon discovers her sister had a secret life and finds out some shocking secrets about not only her sister, but her friends as well. Justine soons discovers the murderer might be closer to her than she realizes.
This book was good up till the ending, I really did not like the ending, and don't know if most teenagers will buy this as well. The killer is revealed and in the end, it just says that he/she is taken to the hospital to "Get the help they need." That's it? I think at least R.L. Stine could of mentioned that he/she was at least arrested! After all their guilty of two murders! Here is where these books fall just a bit short of reality.
This book features the first death, one of the original Seniors (Whose picture is in the yearbook) is killed off. As I said with my earlier reviews, this ends a storyline, that is brought up in the 1st book, and mentioned in this one at the beginning of the story, but with this Senior's death it just dies. Also no followup to their death, no mentioning of anybody mourning or a funeral, or anything.
This episode has some foreshadowing too, as readers pay attention to
Justin Thompson being chased by Ty Sullivan. (Why is Justin's picture NOT in the yearbook until much later?)
Overall, a good book, we don't hear much from Clarissa and Will following this book, for at least a while, but at least they get one story that centers around them. I think most kids will enjoy this volume.

I liked it

To be perfectly honest, this book deserves 4 and 1/2 stars. I liked the story a lot, and so far, Clarissa is my favorite Senior. The catch is the killer is a little too easy to figure out.

Wow! That book was awsome! You wolud never guess the killer. I think it was a little far fetched, so I gave it only 4 stars, but I still think it was a great book. I think Clarissa was cool! Really Cool!

I must say that R.L. Stine made the mistake of making the Senior year book. It ruins all of the books. It makes the books way too predictable. For example in the year book it says that Clarissa hates Mira, so obviousely she was the killer in this book. I think he should have made the year book at the end of the series. Making it at the starting ruined the whole thing.

The title implies that there will be a revisit to Camp Spirit Moon. However, this is an entirely different camp with a different horror tale behind it. Camp Full Moon tells of the Snatcher, a ghost embodied in a fox. This tale is less than chilling, but not completely a mistake. Some of the characters and occurences seem too predictable, but it provides for mild reading enjoyment.

I wish to give this a ten because Camp Full moon has so many traditions and they tell a legend about THE SNATCHER. The Snatcher is a fox. But could the legend be true?. Dustin and ari switched identities to play a mean joke. Every year, The Snatcher wants someone to challenge him. But this year, The real ari was supposed to be the one but they switched identities. Poor Dustin, He will have to challenge THE SNATCHER himself. When i was on CHAPTER 23, Dustin found out that Noah and half Camp Full Moon kids are ghosts.

Mia a lonely girl that goes to a private college now is in to something she would had never tought of doing withtout little help of her new friends. One night she cought some girls doing black magic in the barn next to there college and gets involved, she is the 5th wheel as you would want to call it. Well i am not going to tell you anymore!! You see for yourself.

I would recommend this book to everyone that likes to read and make it fun. I think this book was great, it catches the readers attention and makes it so you can't put the book down. When I read this book I just wouldn't put it down, I wanted to find out what was about to happen in the fallowing chapter. The suspence is just something that can't be beat, its great. I am glad that i own this book and some of the other books R.L. Circle of fire was a great book, but like R.L. Stine's previous books, it's VERY scary. Unlike most horror books,it isn't boring in the beginning. One of the reasons it's so great is that you can relate to the main character, Mia. Mia is just another girl at school until she joins a group that practices the dark arts. But will they let her survive leaving it? Very suspensful. A must buy.

Your mom has gotten a new job at the labs of Dr. Eeek. Your mom has promised you that she'll take you and your friend Sam to the movies once you meet her at Dr. Eeek's labs. You and Sam go, and expect a great time at the movies--but instead you have a terrifying time at the labs of Dr. Eeek.

If you choose to follow a chimpanzee, you find yourself in a room full of chimps who are being examined. But is the idea really as cool as it seems? If you choose to examine some green goo, you might find yourself trapped in a virtual video game where you actually can die! If you choose to take part in a test, you'll find yourself in a maze with many hungry dogs! But no matter what path you choose, the terror of Dr. Eeek will always be there.

THE DEADLY EXPERIMENTS OF DR. EEEK is a very interesting Give Yourself Goosebumps book. There were many creepy parts. But a problem I had with this book was that there was always a new path to take, causing it to be impossible to find the best ending of the book. And a lot of the endings were pretty stupid. Aside from these problems, I recommend this book to people looking for a scary time.

I think these qualify as Twilight Zone for kids and tweens...simple, easy to read...but compelling and slightly frightening, Don't Forget Me has a VERY Twilight Zone feel to the beginning and it holds up fairly well with the first person narrative (story is told from the perspective of Danielle, a 15 year old whose family just moved into an old rambling house).

As it happens, Danielle has an annoying little brother and just may get her wish to be an only child...this book piles it on with bumps in the night, doors that open by themselves and apparitions...that and a creepy old basement helps things along quite nicely! Will Danielle be able to help her family remember her and her brother? You'll have to read to find out...and it also has a further tip of the hat to Twilight Zone at the very end...quite well done!

This is our first experience with R.L. Stein and we'll probably be back for more. We're also looking to get Girl (who is finally old enough to read such things on her own) some of the Goosebumps stories to read...especially since fall is coming on and we all LOVE Halloween.

A Spooky,Chilling Book.

R.L. Stine. The best author in his time in my opion. The Nightmare Room series is fantastic. I have also read the second one. All his series are great but this one tops them all. Goosebumps and Fear Street are great series. But if you want something even more chilling try the Nightmare Room series.
Don't Forget Me is a fantastis book about an annoying boy who starts forgeting who and where is is. He suddnely keeps disappearing into the basement. I will not tell you what happens in there. You need to read the book to find out.
This book is one of a kind. So get off the computer and buy!

This book is really different. When I read it, I could tell it was a lot more mature than Goosebumps and had a great new idea that kinda delves back into the old haunted house ideas. I really enjoyed reading it. Some parts were weird - including the insanely crazy description of the clothes Addy liked to wear. What is R.L.Stine thinking? Anyway I highly recommend this one.

This book is pretty good.

I've always been a huge fan of R.L. Stine's works - he's one of the best authors for kids' books and one of my role models, as I hope to someday become an author. My favorite R.L. Stine series are the original GOOSEBUMPS series and the original FEAR STREET series. But I also think GOOSEBUMPS 2000 and GHOSTS OF FEAR STREET are pretty good, too. I've read this first book in his new series THE NIGHTMARE ROOM, and I can already tell that this new series will be as original, exciting, chilling, and solidly written as the original GOOSEBUMPS series was.

In this first book, DON'T FORGET ME, Danielle thinks her brother, Peter, is so annoying. She wishes she was an only child. Then she and her family move into this creepy old house and strange things start happening to Peter. He's starting to forget things and he keeps hearing strange voices in the house calling to him. It's another one of R.L. Stine's famous haunted house adventures, but just as good and original as all the others with lots of twists and surprises.

And if you like this new book series, then also check out the brand-new TV show based on the books (R.L. Stine is even one of the exclusive producers!) also called "The Nightmare Room", which airs every Saturday morning on the Kids' WB - it's great, too! Today's episode even starred Justin Bertfield from TV's "Malcolm In The Middle" and it was so cool! The TV show is a must see and the book series is a must read! Great for all ages. :-)

Even though this book was published ten years ago, and I first read it when I was about eleven, I still enjoy it! It's full of wit and the best part is the irony that occurs at the end! It's a breath of fresh air from Stine's other novels...the only frightening character is the eccentric exchange student, Ramar. You won't be scared, but you'll definitely laugh.

Goosebumps number 8 the curse of the creeping coffin
When is the time a book made you scream? The reader has the power to choose the story. There are dead people/coffins. Also the girl takes care of grandma's house.

The characters in the Curse of the Creeping coffin are very scary. There are Encounters with ghost, scary, and weird animals. There are scary sounds and dead people too.

The setting of this book is spooky. There is a scary graveyard something will happen to you and turn into a coffin. There is a scary basement it is so loud and noisy that you can't even sleep. The attic is full of old stuff which come alive in the attic. The bathroom is spooky because you see weird stuff and weird sounds, if you were frightened what would you do?

The theme of this story is Independence. Elvira deals with things on her own like monsters and graveyard. Grandma learns to do stuff on her own like go make breakfast, dinner, and supper and do things that are easy to do. Elvira learns to take care of grandma's house so no would destroy grandma's property. Elvira hides stuff and deal with scary things so she hides and something goes closer and closer until you stop and go after him and he will run.

I really recommend this book because it gives you thrills.

I really lastly recommend Goosebumps number 8 the curse of the creeping coffin to anyone who likes scary novels. If you like horror, scary, frightened or haunted books pick up this book and take a deep breath and start reading.

Creative and original, The Haunted Car certainly offers a different kind of horror story to the Goosebumps collection. The creepy car which comes to life by a mysterious ghost is definitely spine-tingly, but the climax becomes routine and lackluster. This underdeveloped story seems shorter than other books in this series, but still provides the reader with a new twist on R.L.Stine's classic horror series.

Dylan and Steve are going to revuild the old treehouse. One day, someone told them that they cannot rebuild the old treehouse because of a legend. Now Dylan was excited to know the legend nut the girls did not tell them so they went to the treehouse and rebuild it. One day they went there for a sleepover. That night they had no luck so they went out later and Dylan proved Steve that there are ghosts.
