This book was very well written and loaded with suspense and gore. I like how in the beggining Stine described Melanie's "incident" then waited untill much later for the evil girls to explain her death. I would give it a 5, but the thing with the witchcraft was a little bogus. First of all, none of it's even close to the truth, which is a major set-back! It was all basically stereotypes and misunderstanding. Being a witch, or more formally Wiccan, I found it very offensive. SO anyone reading this review, do NOT believe any of it! Besides, I never really liked Marla, ......... She and Kenny make a cute couple *.~ I, personally, like Clarissa and Jennifer best! .........Blessings, Silver Petal**

First there were the bite marks on his neck. Then he tried to eat garlic...yikes! And now he's got this weird urge to sleep upside down.
Not that Andrew minds turning into a vampire. He'll be able to stay up all night, fly, and scare his sister silly. Cool!
But then Andrew meets his vampire teacher, one really scary guy.
Andrew isn't ready for a lesson on how to sleep in a coffin -- or how to drink blood!
But does he have a choice?

I liked this book but it wasn't one of R.L Stine's best. He has written better books. I liked this book because it is realistic. It talks about a teenage girl with a new summer job; her sister goes to a day camp. Their dad died and the mother is single and struggling.
Mary is a teenage girl who just got a new summer job at the hospital. What she does is she gets a signed an elderly person to watch over. Everyday she goes to Ms. Cottler's house and they eat, read stories, walk sometimes. Ms. Cottler owns a black cat named Hazel. One day Ms. Cottler was cold and needed a sweater, so Mayra went upstairs to get one out of her bureau draws. When she opened the first draw there was tons of black and white candles and they looked liked they have all been burned at one time! Hazel broke Mayra's beads that Walker; her boyfriend gave her right before he left for vacation. Walker was expected back any day know. Ms. Cottler agreed to rebead them. It took her a long time too. Stephanie came over, Links sister. Links is Mayra's X. Stephanie took Mayra's headscarf. Mayra found a lot of weird witchcraft books in Ms.Cottler's secret library when Ms. Cottler left to go see her dying sister. She also found a Birthday card saying Happy Birthday to Ms. Cottler signed from Stephanie and Link; they are her niece and nephew. That was when she suspected Ms. Cottler and Stephanie are witches. So Mayra decided to go talk to Stephanie about it. And when she did Stephanie was wearing Mayra's headscarf while doing witchcraft. Read to find out.
I think any reader would like this book because it seems like an average book for an average reader.
Enjoy

I read this book and it was very strange. The girl starts sleepwalking and then she would have a dream about the lake on Fear Street. One night she was sleepwalking and found out that she wasn't dreaming she was in the water and she almosted drowned. She thought she was dreaming but it was real and it was pretty freaky too. This book is so good and very strange.

That's the question I asked myself when I read this book. I think this is a well-written book by R.L. Stine. It's full of mystery and that's the reason I liked it. I like to read thrilling and mystery books. Just like this one. This book is about a teenage girl named Mayra who starts working with a lady named Mrs. Cottler. Since that day, Mayra starts sleepwalking every night and having nightmares. She starts to think that Mrs. Cottler is the one who made her sleepwalk for all the weird things that Mrs. Cotter has in her house. For example some black candles. One day Mayra goes to Mrs. Cottler's room and she's like in a trance. Another day Mayra finds some books of sleepwalkers and witchcraft on Mrs. Cottler's room. Is Mrs. Cottler the person who is making Mayra sleepwalk every night? You'll have to read this book to find out. I recommend this book to everyone who likes to read thrilling books. You'll enjoy it.

If you want a good scare, do yourself a favor and buy this trilogy of 99 Fear Street. These books scared me out of my wits! It's about a family of 2 girls, 1 boy, and a mother and a father. They move into 99 Fear Street--the house that even the residents on Fear Street are afraid to enter.(And I don't blame them!) These books are the most entertaining ever, and R.L. Stine is an absolute genius!
I really like the twist at the end. A very good book.

This was a great set of books. As I said above, this trilogy was very similar to the movie "Poltergeist" with the whole haunted house elements. These three books had very scary elements, such as when the little boy disappeared and they could hear him yelling, "Come help me mommy (and/or) Daddy, it's dark here and I'm scared." and, "I found Cubby, daddy (and/or) Mommy!" R.L Stine really knows how to bring out the fear in us!
excellent! twists and turns you'd never expect!

I have read this and the 2 sequals and they were all non-stop twisting. Unable to put neither down I read all 3 books within 2 1/2 days. I would strongly reccommend this book to anyone who enjoys a story with uncountable, unexpected, unbelievable twists that keep you on edge until the very last word.

Curious about the story of a ghost haunting the roller coaster, Ashley and James decide to stay in the park after hours and see for themselves. Little do they know that this ride will be very different. They find themselves back in time circa 1930's trying to warn everyone about an approaching disaster.
The only complaint I have about this book is that the author had obviously never been to King's Island, the park where the story is set.
And yes, the Beast is a real ride. My favorite!

Its not one of those books were you have to wait till the 10th chapter for the book to pick for me after I read the first few pages I was hooked.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes r l stine.

Della is part of an outdoor club at school, along with Gary, Suki, Maia, Ricky and Pete. Maia is her friend and Gary is her ex-boyfriend. She broke up with him and regretted it the next day, but he didn't want to talk to her and now she really wants him back. Suki is a girl who is trying to be Gary's girlfriend and almost is. Ricky is the class clown. He thinks he is funny but he isn't. Pete is a semi-prep in the club. Gary is the leader. Their teacher is Mr. Abner. The group had been wanting to go on an overnight. They finally planned for that weekend. Mr. Abner came into class and said they had to cancel it because he had some family problems. They were all upset. Especially Maia, because she had to beg her parents to go in the first place. Then they thought about the idea of going without Mr. Abner. Maia said no because her parents would kill her if they ever found out. Della told her everything was going to be alright and she decided to go. They all decided to go at the originally planned time without Mr. Abner to camp at Fear Island, which was behind the Fear Street woods. When they got to camp they found a campsite and got everything ready. Then Ricky brought out his Zap guns (paintball guns). They started to play as teams, girls against boys, in the woods of the island. Della got lost and just kept walking hoping her sense of direction was helping her find her way back. She stopped when she got to a ravine. They're was a guy following her she turned around and shot a stream of paint from her Zap gun. There was no one there. Then she put the gun up. There was a guy that showed up. He started talking excitedly to Della. Della kind of liked him. He was 18 or so and very cute, he had a chin with three sculls on it around his neck. Then he started talking about communication and something about how he tried to communicate with an old man and how he wouldn't. Della started to get scared. Then he told her what he did to the old man. He said that he shot him in the back with a gun. Then he grabbed Della and started to try to throw her in to the ravine. She shot him with her Zap gun and he just laughed. Then she moved and accidentally pushed him into the ravine. She went down to the bottom to see if he was alright and he wasn't breathing. Then she saw the rests of the members of the outdoor club at the top of the ravine. She told them what happened. Gary checked the man's pulse and he had none. They were all upset. They had never seen a dead body before. They decided to keep it a secret to keep Della from getting in trouble and because their parents would find out that they went on the overnight without Mr. Abner. Della was so scared... She had just killed a man. They all had trouble sleeping that night. They left as soon as possible the next morning. When they got home they had trouble hiding the secret. Especially when their parents asked them how it went. Then when Della came home from going to Maia's house to calm here down, she found an envelope in her screen door. It had one of the sculls that the man had around his neck and a note that said, "I saw what you did". They had a meeting and Gary said he got a scull too. Then Pete showed them an article about two guys who killed an old man that was supposedly rich. Then they saw the sketches. One of them was of the man Della killed. That was the old man he couldn't communicate with. Then they realized that the guy sending them the stuff was probably the partner with the man and he either wanted revenge... or to blackmail their parents. The next day they had an outdoor club meeting at school. Mr. Abner was back. Mr. Abner was so excited because he had finally come back and planned the overnight at Fear Island for that weekend...

I liked The Overnight because the way the events took place captivated me. Also I can relate to some of the characters in the book. In the overnight six teenagers plan to go on an all night camp out, but the chaperone can't come. This sounds like a good idea at first but soon turns into a nightmare. With murder and suspence these teenagers lives will never be the same!

R.L. Stine, one of the greatest horror writers in history, is
out with another great thriller The Overnight part of the Fear
Street collection. The book is about five kids Della, Suki, Maia,
Gary and Ricky when they have plans to go to their outdoor club
and campout for the weekend but their fun turns to a secret they might have to keep for the rest of there lives.

I think that the theme of this book is to not steel stuff from other people. In the beginning of the book it's like saying his story and than he gives you details about the game. when they start to play the game they find out it was more than a game. When they try to return the game they became a part of it and start to be in the world of the game.

This book is good, except it goes to fast! I wanted to read more but the story suddenly ends. I read it in less than an hour.
A lot of characters are in this book and I want people to read it. It's not all about dragons. It is about knights and trolls and stuff.
Good story.

Wade Brill has the standard annoying sibling, Micah, in this annoying Goosebumps 2000 installment. As usual, Wade is frustrated because it seems he can do no wrong, constantly humiliating her. THis storyline is so over-used in Goosebumps books, and the idea of failed revenge is uninteresting. And the ending disappoints, throwing off the whole confusing and blase storyline.

Even though it has a weird ending,
there is nothing scary about it.
I don't think it is a graeat book,
but there is something in it that makes
me keep on reading. I'll guess I'll
recommend it.

The book I am reviewing is Night of the Living Dummy2. I think this book deserves a five star rating because the details were very scary and creepy. It's terrific because it has dummies and scary freaky things. This book is mostly about a possessed dummy, Slappy. The dummy insults Amy's parents. Slappy hits Amy's dad in the back of the head. This story does get solved. How? I'd recommend this book to anybody who likes scary stories. Other books by this author include Go Eat Worms and Another Day at Horror Land.
Slappy's back and he's more deadly! so look out...

If you liked the first Night of the living dummy, you'll like this sequal to it. This wasn't as scary as the first Night of the living dummy, but Sh** it was creepey. This time Slappy's going after 12 year old girl Amy who is also intrested in ventriloquium herself. And he wants her to be his slave! Just like Mr. Wood. This book also has things toatally oh how should I put this oh yeah descusting. It seems that Slappy was mad the last time when the got rid of him, but his time he's going to stay in the house until Amy is serveing him. But Amy dosen't want to be the girl who listens to a puppet. So Slappy's paln is to scare Amy until she serves him and he becomes the best Ventriloquist dummy ever. YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!!! Also read the books Night of the living dummy & Night of the living dummy 3

Night of the Living Dummy 2
If you like scary story's you came to the right place. This story is about a girl named Amy Kramer that wants a new dummy because her old dummy head falls. So her dad gets her a new ugly horrible scary dummy head. Amy likes to play practical jokes with Slappy but Slappy hates it. I hated it when Slappy got a guitar and tried to hit Amy with it but she screamed. Her parents came but they thought Amy was playing a joke on them. So Slappy said I'll get my revenge on you . When Amy threw Slappy out the window she woke up and saw him on the table. My opinion is that this leaves you hanging and you'll be surprised at the end. Also in every Goosebumps book there's a small chapter at the end telling about a different book.

This book is an A++++! I've read it over 11 times and it still keeps me on the edge! I've recommended it to all my friends. The saddest part was when Jamie Fier killed Whispering Wind on their wedding night. But that's also one of my fav' parts! I recommend it to anybody. I think it has a little bit of everything. You never would've guessed that...well I can't say the ending. But its so unpredictable( that just makes it better!) I hope you enjoy it!
It has a very DIFFERENT ending, compared to most of his books

The book was really awsome. I couldn't put it down (well, until I had to go to bed.) When Jamie was transforming into that wolf, I really like that part.
Dang, this book should become a movie!

Wha-hoo! Whoa...This was amazing! I read this book for three reasons: 1. It was the next in the series 2. I'm interesting in native americans and 3. I LOVE WOLVES PERIOD! But it was not as I expected! It takes place in 1792. It's about a young man name Jaime Fier and he and his family are moving from Virgina cause they were starving there. And they're traveling with other families too. When they stop to rest, the familes tell them to share their water but they refused. Then the other familes started going on, on how their family is evil and their curse. (you would've read the whole series to understand it) Then Jamie's mother dies. Then on the way, their wagon breaks down and they have to stay in a forest because the familes didn't bother to help them. But...yes BUT there is a young girl who has a huge crush on Jamie and keeps asking to marry her. But he likes her older sister. The reason why I menchined this is because you hear from them later in the book. When their abaonded, Jamie's father gets killed. Then Jamie is captured by Indians. The indians give him the name of Eyes of the Wolf. While being held captive and everything he falls in love with an indian girl named Whispering Wind. A medicine woman tells Jamie she knows how to make her fall in love with him by giving him a potion. He drinks it, but with every full moon he turns into a wolf and when he's a wolf he's true love can't see him or else he will remain a wolf...forever! *evil laughter* Sorry, went overboard....but he does turn into a wolf and Whispering Wind does see him as a wolf but he doesn't remain a wolf forever...Why? I've read the book, now you have to find out why.I don't wanna spoil it more for you. This book gets intense, exciting, unpredictable and leaves you at the edge of your seat anticipating for more. This is absolutly amazing. Great work R.L. Stine!
