R.L. Stine Books

this book was ok but the first half was really boring so if yoou like a good book all the way thorough then you shouldnt read this one.

This story obviously continues where part one has left off. Hope still deals with the same problem(s) and is on the run for the cops. The sequal was even better then part one (to my opinion). It gave you more insight on Hope's thoughts and her way with dealing things. Actually this story was very sad, but I guess this was also the only way to end this serie. These series are really worthwhile reading.

After reading the first I eagerly started this. I read this book in one sitting. (about an hour) This is another great job of writing by Mr. Stine. I thought he was losing his touch. Some of his books were beginning to be about the same thing. But then I read the Fear Hall series. This book did not have as many suprises and twists as the first did, but it still satisfied me.If you read the first and for some reason you haven't read this one then grab a copy and read it immediatly.

Though, this book isn't as good as the first part, it's still a good read.In the conclusion Hope and her "friends" are forced out of Fear hall and into a abandon house where "they" are hiding out. In the process, Hope meets a new guy,Chris who isn't very interesting in my opinion, and "Darryl" still can't stop killing. It ended really sad, but I wish R.L. Stine had of written it that Hope went to a mental hospital or something like that. I mean he got the readers to love Hope in the first book and in this one make everything seem like her fault, although it really wasn't since she didn't know what she was doing. The issue of Muliple Personality Disorder, was obviously not researched very well by the author. If you want a more mature and more researched book about MPD I highly recommend "Tell Me Your Dreams" by Sidney Sheldon, it's kinda like this one but it's for more mature readers.

I have been a R.L. Stine fan since '95 and I have to say that this was his best book ever. I love the new format he uses to introduce each character and how it kept me guessing the whole time. I would definetly recommend Fear Hall to anyone who is looking for a suspenseful, murder mystery with plenty of twists.

I'm going to be brutally honest. Some of the stories I really didn't enjoy as much as I wanted to. They just didn't fit my taste. I didn't think that the stories were too good, but there were a few that I died for.

The Bad Babysitter: 7/5 - I can't believe this story! It was amazing! It was very original, and very terrifying at the same time!! It's a great story!!

The Halloween Dance 5/5 - I loved the concept of this story. The ending is great, and very peculiar and weird. A great story overall!!

Revenge Of The Snowman 5/5 - This is another great story. It's really original, and the ending is very scary. Like, actually, VERY scary. It's another of the great ones!!

Those are my favorite stories. The others didn't really have that "wow" factor. But, it's R.L. Stine, so who can really resist?

The Haunting Hour takes up where Nightmare Hour left off with Stine dishing up another 10 stories that will give you something else to think about as you go to sleep at night. Like any anthology there's stories you'll like more than others but there's enough that you would call sensational to rate the entire collection five stars.

The Haunting Hour starts of with two best stories of the collection. The first is Halloween Dance where two boys ditch their mother's thrown party as it is too babyish, meet another kid on their street who tells them where the best Halloween party is, at the caretakers hut in the cemetery. As the dead rise from their graves to attend the boys decide they won't be noticed in their costumes.

The Bad Baby-Sitter will have kids running out the door the next time their new babysitter suggests baking cookies as they read about Matthew and Courtney's mud cookies which will give their irritating neighbours their ultimate comeuppance!

Revenge of the Snowman is the tale of bullying a know it all kid who thinks he's real cool but getting your just deserts in the end as well!

How to Bargain With a Dragon is a fantasy tale of boy begging for work so he can feed his family from an evil dragon master who tells him he'll only get a job if he brings him the last free dragon.

The Mummy's Dream is another story where a prank goes horribly wrong for a mischievous boy while visiting the museum.

Are We There Yet has two little kids facing the terror of waking up on a road trip and discovering their parents have disappeared.

Take Me With You is the tale of a little girl who likes to collect dolls whose father brings her an old antique clothing chest that isn't empty.

My Imaginary Friend is the tale of a boy who commits crimes and gets into all kinds of trouble blaming it all on his imaginary friend who his mother tells him to grow up and get rid of.

Losers is the tale of two losers who make fun of others, torment animals and sabotage hard worked on entries at the local carnival just for kicks. These losers are about to discover why you don't mess with carnie folk.

Can You Draw Me is the tale of a talented young artist who while trying to score with the girl from school he likes by sketching her portrait while she models for him, has his hand take a mind of its own drawing over her image with things which disgust her and start the process of making him rather unpopular and in trouble at school.

A good collection, there's even pictures by 10 different artists, one at the start of every story, get The Haunting Hour along with The Nightmare Hour. Two of the best ways to kill a couple of hours!

This is a great book. The stories are scary and have twists that double the enjoyment.

My 7 year old grandson and I have our special time together reading after he comes home from school. He loves these kind of stories and will sit still while I read. I do sound effects and character voices which makes the stories fun for me too.

I purchased Beware and Nightmare Hour: Time for Terror both by R.L. Stine, that are equally good.

_The Haunting Hour_ by R.L.Stine was very suspenseull and full with horror. When Amber's dad brings home an antique trunk that she doesn't want to take on her cruise, that night she hears a voice saying "take me with you." At first she just thinks it was a nightmare, but later a ghost comes out of the trunk and into her body since Amber declares that she won't take the trunk on her cruise. Amber was so mad at her dad for not listening to her. Then when she gets on the cruise ship, the cruise ship is there...is her cruise gonig to be a disaster?

This is a collection of R.L. Stine's spookiest stories. And some of them are really scary. My favorite story that scared me the most was "Losers" because i want to remind the bullies at my school, IF THEY CALL ME A LOSER, THEY'RE GONNA BE HUMILIATED ONE DAY. Because it's a about kids who disrepect other kids, and what happens to them? They become the laughing stock of the carnival.

i loved his books, but then again i have all ways loved his books.

I reccomend all of the teenagers to read this book or any other R.L Stine's Fear Street's books. It's soooooooo good! It's sooooooo good that I can't be able to describe it! Almost everybody in my school read Fear Street. It's perhaps the hottest topic at school about books! So go for it!

This is a great book. I loved how Paulette was so independant, and I liked Brad. The hold-up at Pete's Pizza was my favourite scene. Paulette sticks with her gut feeling and insists Brad is innocent...and is right. (I won't say who is really guilty!) Anyway, R. L. Stine held my utmost attention for the whole book. If I could, I would have given Into The Dark 100 stars!

I just read a great book! The title of the book is Into the Dark. The author is R.L. Stine. The category of this book is drama/ mystery.
Into the Dark is about a girl named Paulette. Paulette is blind. One day she almost fell into the road. A guy named Brad saved her. They fell in love! But one day Brad was acting a little funny. Brad's voice sounded creepy and her smelled different then the sent that Paulette knew. Paulette could not see so but she could still smell and hear. Paulette did not know what was happening!
This book is so good. There was not one part in the book that was bad! It was the kind of book that once you start reading you cannot stop! R.L writes a lot of books! This book one of the many the many of the Fear Street, Series.
I would recommend this book to people whom like to read Fear Street and also mystery!

Ariel, Doug, Shannon and Red are dribing back to Shadyside when their car breaks down. Fortunately, they find a ski lodge and they are taken in. But unfortunately, the house is full od guns. And when a shot is fired, the terror begins.

Ski Weekend Is about a group of friends that goes on vacation at a ski lodge.
They drive there during a really bad blizzard. They can't see outside the car, and they're sliding all over the roads. Someone thinks they see something outside and starts freaking out. The car breaks down in they walk around to find a place to stay. They see an old house, they knock on the door, but no one answers. The door is unlocked, and they walk in they stand in front of the window and sees a shadow. That's the basics of the book, but I didn't really like this book because there were lots of boring parts, and I couldn't stay into the book. The book was boring I almost didn't want to finish. Maybe the reason why I didn't like it book is because I'm not a R.L Stine fan, but I love murder stories. There's something about R.L Stine that I don't like he just makes his stories where nothing happens tell the end of his storie.

this book has been one of my favorite RL Stine books for a while. The book shows that you think you can trust someone but in the end you dont know who to turn to. This book also has good character development, you will feel like your right next to the characters the whole time and going through the same things that they are. i recomend this book to anyone who likes a good scary mystery

This story is about kids that were playing in the snow. The main characters' names are: Ariel Munroe, Doug Mahr, and Shannon Harper, Doug's girlfriend.

Ski Weekend is very scary, because the kids that were there were playing and suddenly a blizzard came. Some people even died.

This is a very good book to read alone or in a group in the dark. It would be appropiate in the winter in front of the fireplace.

I really liked this book, I guessed who it was but that might be cause ive read a few rl stine books like this one. I read most of this in one day, but i kept leaving the book for hours at a time and i still read from chapter 4 to chapter 18, in that amount of little time. So i highly recommend this fear street to any of you readers.

I loved this book. If you own a cat it is better. Really scarey and you can't put it down... you just must know what's going to happen next.

I would recommend this book to any one who likes cats. It's about a girl named Wendy who buys a werecat charm, that she isn't supposed to buy. The women tells her it's not a cat charm it's a werecat charm. Later that night Wendy wakes up and notices that the moon is full. She never used to wake up at nighttime. When Wendy looks at moon she starts to fell funny. She notices that the charm she had gotten was glowing. She noticed she is growing fur all over her body. Her teeth are sharper than usual. Her ears have moved to the top of her head and they are now pointy. When Wendy wakes up she thinks that turning into a werecat was just a dream. She goes downstairs to get a drink. She drinks a half-a gallon of milk. The next night she turns back into a werecat. She goes back to the lady that sold her the werecat charm. She gets it taken off. Wendy still can't understand why she is still turning into a werecat. When Wendy turns into a werecat, and jumps out of her window and on a tree she sees another cat. Wendy approaches the cat and realizes that the cat has a white star on top of its forehead, just like her. She looks behind the black werecat and realizes that there are two others just like her. When the sun comes up Wendy realizes that the three werecats are her parents and her brother. Her parents explain why she has been turning into a werecat. It was because her ancestors werecats too.

Nicole didn't know what was going on with her body but she definately didn't know what to do about it. Nicole looked down at her arm that was slowly growing fur all over it, and then looked into the mirror to see that her ears had changed again, they were begginning to move higher on her head and were beggining to grow pointy. Then Nicole fell to the ground and passed out. When she woke she was in her bed. she checked herself and she was back to normal. Nicole then sat down in the kitchen and had an urge to eat something. Nicole searched through her fridge for something. She pulled out the milk jug and started drinking from it. Half a gallon later Nicole started to feel strange again. Nicole looked down and she saw what she was feeling. She could see her breasts growing. She felt them get bigger and bigger until she felt her bra pop off. Nicole looked down again and they just kept growing until she could no longer see her feet! Nicole had mixed emotions of happiness and fear. Then Nicole started to feel really strange, stranger than ever before.

I read this book when I was younger and loved it! It's about a young girl who loves cats, but her mother and father won't let her get one. One day when she gose to a cat show she finds a cool looking charm with a cat on it that is being sold by the towns crazy cat lady(there's one in every town). Even after the crazy cat tells her No, you can't have it, she takes it. After that every night she turns into a Werecat at Midnight, doomed to run the streets untill light of morning.
The book was a lot of fun, and I found it to have a shocking end (normal for R.L. Stine).

If Wendy did not take the werewolf charm, then she won't grow any furs. But she took, now furs grow everywhere in her body. It's really her fault.

horrerland a place she went to the year before so the world could find out what they did there. Horrorland is a place Lizzie and her brother and her brother's friend went to and got into it deep. So they go and they got chased by the horrors the last time they were there.

Lizzie, Luke and Clay are back in horrorland! Thanks to two news reporters, Derek and margo, that is! Derek and Margo are two new reporters that are working on a horror show and they want to expose horrorland. They want Lizzie, Luke and Clay to show them around horrorland but wait! There might be a traitor in their midst. Is it Luke, Clay, Lizzie, Derek or Margo? This time the book is 2x scarier and is filled with suspense! This book is reccomended for children ages 9-13 years old.

This book was good to read because it was exciting and has irony in it. The book is about three kids that were worped to Horrorland. Zack's sister was on her bike looking for her brother and his friends. Zack and his sister was looking for their parents though out the stoy.
In one point of the story they find the goblin that is against torching human and they met him before in the first book of horrorland.
The goblin helped them before and tries to help them again. He tells him that their parents are capture some were in horrorland. So the kids have to find their parents in Horrorland and escape from that place alive.

Let's face it. One Day at Horrorland was no masterpiece. Why make a sequel? In fact, Lizzy and pals don't even ride ONE ride in this book. This book is a huge huge disappointment. The attractions are confused and boring. I think R.L.Stine should not have returned - or anyone else. I do not recommend this one.

I was really disappointed in R.L. Stine this time. I usually LOVE his books, but this time I hated it. I thought the ending was the worst part. And th plot couldn't get any dumber. I think this book was a total waste of my money, but if you like really, really, really, etc. stupid books you will definitley like this book.

Scream Jennifer scream is one of my favorite Fear Street Books i thought it was full of suspense edge of your seat adventurous. When you start reading and your at the end of a chapter and R. L. Steins cliff hangers are amazingly thrilling you HAVE to read on and find out what happend next. Also a very god book from the fear street series another one of my favorites One Evil summer, Camp Out and the Prom Queen! Fear Street Series are the best!

If u love R.L.Stine books come read this. It's about 5 or 6 friends that cheated on a SAT test and one of the friends threatening that she was going to tell the principal when they went back to school. So they made a deal to try to kill her. And ever since that day they wanted to kill her, her friends were dying one by one. Who will survive? A must read. U will love this book. I garantee u A READ IT & LIKE IT book.

story is about a group of friends who cheated at their exam. Now Jennifer starts feeling guilty and wants to confess. Of course the others don't agree and start thinking of ways to keep her mouth shut.....but this was the worst thing they could've done. This book was SOOOOO good, it has to be one of my favorites of all time (and I read hundreds). It was so well written and it just keeps you pageturning, you can't put it down. The ending was a complete shock. I never ever could've figured that one out, and that is good. You have got to read this book, you'll love it.

These books are spectacular! Its super chilling and extremly freaky. I love these books and expect the same for the others. Try "Dangerous Girs" by Stine as well, you'll love it!

This book is awesome...I'd be scared if i was Reva. At the end though it was unreal to believe how crazy that girl REALLY was. It also was weird why that girl beat herself up and said her boyfriend did it....lol

Coming home from college for the holidays with her roommate (Grace Morton), Reva Dalby is unaware of the danger that lays ahead for her yet again in this third and final book in the Silent Night trilogy. In this book, she heads a fashion show at her family's department store, after taking credit for designing some scarves her cousin Pam and Pam's friend (Willow) did themselves. But before the show can get under way, one of the models is murdered, followed by yet another (it just sucks being a model in this book), making a murderous trail straight for Reva.

While the previous two Silent Night books switched point of views between Reva and other characters, "Silent Night 3" zeroes in on Reva a little more, of her acting like her usual snobby self--stealing boyfriends and stabbing people in the back, so to speak. Out of the three books, this is my least favorite. It's not as suspenseful as the others until around the end; and even then, there are too many unbelievable plot twists to make "Silent Night 3" very enjoyable. You can probably skip this one and not feel guilty about it.

Im going to make a short statement. Well first of all, I was full of excitement when the Silent Night books came out. . . but mainly for the covers, a crazed santa, a mob of evil model things. But was oh so dissappointed to find that this--like many of Stine's books--had no scary fictional beasts, merely a stupid kid. Although, I did enjoy the book, and suggest it to everyone. DO NOT BUY IT FOR THE COVER(S)! None of the juicy things the cover shows happends :(

This is a great book from R.L. Stine. I couldn't put it down. Characters and plot were well written. One of the better Fear Street books I've read and one of the most realistic.

I liked this book but it wasn't one of R.L Stine's best. He has written better books. I liked this book because it is realistic. It talks about a teenage girl with a new summer job; her sister goes to a day camp. Their dad died and the mother is single and struggling.
Mary is a teenage girl who just got a new summer job at the hospital. What she does is she gets a signed an elderly person to watch over. Everyday she goes to Ms. Cottler's house and they eat, read stories, walk sometimes. Ms. Cottler owns a black cat named Hazel. One day Ms. Cottler was cold and needed a sweater, so Mayra went upstairs to get one out of her bureau draws. When she opened the first draw there was tons of black and white candles and they looked liked they have all been burned at one time! Hazel broke Mayra's beads that Walker; her boyfriend gave her right before he left for vacation. Walker was expected back any day know. Ms. Cottler agreed to rebead them. It took her a long time too. Stephanie came over, Links sister. Links is Mayra's X. Stephanie took Mayra's headscarf. Mayra found a lot of weird witchcraft books in Ms.Cottler's secret library when Ms. Cottler left to go see her dying sister. She also found a Birthday card saying Happy Birthday to Ms. Cottler signed from Stephanie and Link; they are her niece and nephew. That was when she suspected Ms. Cottler and Stephanie are witches. So Mayra decided to go talk to Stephanie about it. And when she did Stephanie was wearing Mayra's headscarf while doing witchcraft. Read to find out.
I think any reader would like this book because it seems like an average book for an average reader.

I read this book and it was very strange. The girl starts sleepwalking and then she would have a dream about the lake on Fear Street. One night she was sleepwalking and found out that she wasn't dreaming she was in the water and she almosted drowned. She thought she was dreaming but it was real and it was pretty freaky too. This book is so good and very strange.

First of all it was a WIERD book.Great Charters and Plot, but not enough action!!!!!I was rellay dissapointed in the lack of Suspence!!It VAULED Dullness!!! And Was RICH in Long Boring Chapthers!!!But it HATED Suspence!!!And was POOR in Thrills and Chilles!!!You Should Skip this one!!!!

That's the question I asked myself when I read this book. I think this is a well-written book by R.L. Stine. It's full of mystery and that's the reason I liked it. I like to read thrilling and mystery books. Just like this one. This book is about a teenage girl named Mayra who starts working with a lady named Mrs. Cottler. Since that day, Mayra starts sleepwalking every night and having nightmares. She starts to think that Mrs. Cottler is the one who made her sleepwalk for all the weird things that Mrs. Cotter has in her house. For example some black candles. One day Mayra goes to Mrs. Cottler's room and she's like in a trance. Another day Mayra finds some books of sleepwalkers and witchcraft on Mrs. Cottler's room. Is Mrs. Cottler the person who is making Mayra sleepwalk every night? You'll have to read this book to find out. I recommend this book to everyone who likes to read thrilling books. You'll enjoy it.
