I really loved this book, but there were some boring parts which convinced me to give this book four stars. If you take away the boring parts, this book is awesome. The beginning and the ending are the best parts. There are usually never surprise endings in Fear Street Sagas, but there is in this one. Well, it's not a huge surprise. It can be guessed if you think hard about it. Anyway, Simon and Angelica are my favorite Fears. They're so evil that it's funny.
Read this book!

Spring Break is NO vacation! Review Date: 2007-03-18
I recommend to my students to read this one during Spring Break, it really gives you a feeling that your actually there. Residents of Arizona, will like this book, since this takes place at a fictional ranch in Tucson, Arizona.
"Spring Break" has two separate storylines, the first group, Josh Maxwell, (who is back in the limelight again, after a couple of episodes) Gary Fresno, Mickey Myers, Deirdre Palmer all join Trisha Conrad at her Father's ranch in Arizona for a week of fun in the sun.
Meanwhile, Josie Maxwell (Josh's Sister) and Jennifer Fear, are back home in Shadyside hanging out and decide to sneak into a bar, here they meet two college guys. The four start to hang out together and have some fun.
Things go wrong quickly for the group in Arizona, as Josh bumps into an rough cowboy dude at the airport, and he tries to start a fight with Josh, this starts a chain of events that soon haunts the kids in Arizona.
Someone soon starts to stalk Jennifer and Josie, leaving them messages on their car and their porch. Who is this? What does he/she want?
Meanwhile, in Arizona, Josh and Co, meet Rose, her father, and Roberto. Roberto is excavating some Hohokam Indian Land.
Rose warns them of "La Amadora" a vengeful Hohokam spirit, who comes after anyone who disturbs the sacred land.
Soon things start to go wrong for Josh and Co. Things like a rattlensake bite, a coyote attack, a bedroom is broken into etc. Is it the work of the vengeful spirit? Is it someone who doesn't want them anywhere near the excavation site?
This book is really well written as it takes the reader back and forth between two stories.
Unfortunately not all the Seniors make it through Spring Break alive. Expect a twist at the end, as with most of these books, and finally, some of the characters show some remorse and/or emotion to someone dying. I felt this was long overdue. This is the beginning of the end of the saga, and it is sure to keep the reader interested from chapter to chapter.
It was one of the best so far!Review Date: 1999-06-07

Anyways, this book is one of the bests in R.L.Stine's Goosebumps books. I won't give the good parts away like the person before me did, but here's a bit of a summary.
Alex Hunter is a photography freak, and he has to stay at Wolf Creek where his Uncle Colin and Aunt Marta lives, because his parents had to fly to France for business. The cool part is, his aunt and uncle is a professional photographers.
He meets Hannah, who lives next door. And she tells Alex about the werewolfs... She saids that Alex's other next door, Marlings, are werewolfs.
Poor Alex. He just wanted to take a couple of pictures. But now he's about to find out the secret of Wolf Creek. When the moon is full...
This book won't be the same without the awesome ending. A 5 star from me, and if you're lucky, you might get a terrifying(?) werewolf mask inside!

Werewolf Skin review by Stephen KolliniatisReview Date: 2004-04-03
Alex Hunter is a photography freak. His mum and dad have to be at a business job in Atlanta. So Alex has to stay at his aunt Marta and uncle Colin's house in Wolf Creek. Aunt Marta and uncle colin are proffesional photographers.
Aunt Marta and uncle Colin only have 2 requests. Don't go in the woods late at night and don't go to the Marlins' house next door.
The house which is rundown and broken.
Then Alex meets Hannah, a friend Alex met whie staying at wolf creek.
But Alex is having a bad time at Wolf Creek. Because Alex knows a secret. Aunt Marta and uncle Colin are werewolves. And the Marlings don't exist. Aunt Marta and uncle Colin hide their werewolf skin there.
And late at night, aunt Marta and uncle Colin get the werewolf skin and put it on. Then they howl at the moon and turn into ... Werewolves.
I really like Werewolf Skin a lot!

One of the best of the series!Review Date: 2005-06-01
The story is about a dad who likes lawn ornaments and buys two lawn gnomes from a store down the street. When the neighbors garden keeps getting trashed, the pet Rottweiler is blamed. When the havoc continues after the dog has been tied up, the children of the house are blamed. What will they have to do to prove that they are innocent? And who in the world could be doing the mischief? Read and find out! Hope this was helpful!
VERY GOOD!Review Date: 2005-02-06
When Joe's father had two lawn gnomes, strange things started to happen. One day, Joe and Mindy heard a disturbing news to their neighbors. Then Joe's Father blamed Mindy and Joe because of what happened next door. Looks like the gnomes are getting their revenge.

My parents also didn't have a lot of heartache with buying me a new book because these are relatively inexpensive (in the neighborhood of 3-5 bucks each).
R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps" books aren't scary, just kind of creepy. There aren't graphic descriptions of murder and mayhem. Just some ghosts, werewolves, or potions. The main character is alive in the end, and the final chapter resolves everything.
**Keep in mind, R.L. Stine has other books that aren't in the "Goosebumps" series that tend to be a little harsher when it comes to hauntings and plot. They are written more for the 12-14 age group and are longer (around 150-200 pages).

Killer's Kiss is the story of a the self centred huge egod popular highschool boy (Vincent) and the affect his desire to manipulate two former best friends into believing he is dating each of them exclusively and convincing them the other is just jealous and delusional. Delia and Karina (the two girls) have been competing against each other their whole lives with Delia usually being pipped at the post by Karina. Delia has had enough of this and won't have what she believes to be her current boyfriend stolen from her. Karina has also had enough of what she believes to be Delia wanting everything she has. Throw in a talent contest and you've got an unhealthy competition that's deadly serious!

This book . . . is just about like all of Stine's books... only with a hint of Survivor in it. But its far more than meats the eye. When i first got it i was soo thinking a copy-cat story line going with the Survivor TV Show (and im sure thats where Stine got the idea for this book) but it turns out to have a twist-a-plot that is rather entertaining. I suggest buying this book, but remember, its TO BE CONTINUED, so buy the whole 3some at one time.
