I even like the cover! Brady is getting on with his life. The memory of her girlfriend killed in an accident last year is beginning to fade. Now, Brady's found the perfect girl. Rosha Nelson. But how come Brady has accidents whenever Rosha is around. Is she somewhat connected to that girl with a terribly scarred face?

Brady the main character was sledding with his girlfriend and she ran into a tree and ripped off her face. He later found a girl named Rosha that he really liked. Everytime he went out with her he loked behind his shoulders and he noticed that he had a stalker. She was a scarred face lady that looked like his old girlfriend that got her face ripped off, when they were sledding. It happend that the so called Rosha had stolen that scarred face girl's body. Rosha was really shannon the girl that crashed and got her face ripped off. They fought for there own body's back and finnally that scarred face girl got her pretty body back.

This was, in my opinion the best fear street book ever, but I read the ending, and it was so unrealistic. It was a huge let down. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who likes fear street books, it will change your outlook on the whole series, and it is a waste of your time.

The prologue tells about Brady and his girlfriend Sharon skiing.

The first chapter and the rest of the book tells about Brady's current girlfriend Allie. Allie turns out to be a wonderful, caring, sensitive, sensible, perfect girlfriend. But Brady meets very gorgeous Rosha and wants her. I think Brady is stupid to want ditzy Rosha instead of lovely Allie. I think he is making a very bad choice.

Something about Rosha is "weird" and she seems unattainable. But yet, Brady continues to go after her, and he is unwilling to give it up.

There is another "girl" who is an important character in the book: the scarred-face girl.

At the end of the book, Sharon, Allie, Rosha, Brady, and the scarred-face girl are all tied in together in this clever plot. But I will not say how, because I do not want to ruin it. I will say that it is a very clever plot idea.

This is a "teen horror" and I do recommend this book to teens who like a good horrifying horror book. I do not recommend this book to adults, unless they are like me, and sometimes enjoy a less-serious, fun teen book.

i love it

This book 'The Perfect Date' is so cool and full of mystery. I loved it that it took me only three hours to finish it. This is probably one of the best fear street book i've read.

Its about a teenage boy named Brady who has a girlfriend named Shannon Noles. He made her sled in a dangerous part of Miller Hill when she didn't want to. But she died in a horrible death.

A year later Brady had a girlfriend called Allie. Then he met a very pretty girl named Rosha Nelson. He asked her for a date and she agreed. But every time horrible things happened she seemed to be around. Like when the car accident happened. Or when she accidently stabbed him with a letter opener. At least thats what he thinks. Also there is a scar faced girl who keeps warning him to stay away from Rosha. So could Rosha be dangerous?

I recommend this book to anyone who is brave enough to read about killings and blood. I thought that Brady could be a little stupid.

I thought Chicken, Chicken was going to be terrible because of the title. But don't let the title confuse you! Chicken, Chicken is the most humurous of the Goosebumps series. It's probably up there in my list of favorites.

The reason I loved this book was because the plot was original and kind of weird and funny, and the characters were great. It's the most humurous in the Goosebumps series.

Personally, the ending actually made me laugh out in hilarity, and I was on the train. It was very funny!! Chicken, Chicken is a great book, and if you love humurous scares, then Chicken, Chicken is the right book for you!!

Another good goosebumps!

When I read this book it wasn't really scary, it was actually kind of silly. This book is about a brother and sister, who live on a farm. They live in goshen falls, a really small town. In their town theirs a very strange girl named Vanessa, and everyone plays jokes on her because she's so weird. One day the brother and sister accidentally knock vanessa's groceries out of her hands and they run away without saying sorry to her. Before they run away vanessa says the words chicken, chicken, they think it means nothing and that she says it to be weird. The next day the brother and sister start clucking like chickens and start growing feathers. This book was really good and it is one you should read in the series.

Everyone in Goshen Falls knows about Weird Vanessa. She dresses all in black. Wears black lipstick. And puts spell on people. At least, that's what they say. Cyrstal and Cole know you can't believe everything you hear. But that was before they made Vanessa mad. Before she whispered this warning "Chicken Chicken". Because now something really weird has happened.

Probably the Best of the Fear Street Novels

This is one of it not the best of R. L. Stine's Fear Street collection. This book is a rollercoaster of action, just when you think what is happening as a chapter ends a surprise at the start of the next chapter turns the story on its head. This book would also make a very good B grade teen horror/thriller movie.

In Halloween Party there's a new girl in school named Justine and she is undoubtedly the hottest girl the boys have ever seen. They have all tried to get to know her but she brushes them off, all the girls want to be her friend for the obvious benefits of picking up the boys she brushes off. However they don't seem to be any more successful getting close to her than the boys are. So when Justine sends out invitations to nine of them (no partners aloud) to attend her Halloween party they sure aren't going to turn her down. She is very strict on the guest list, no one else can come and there seems to be no correlation between the guests, they are not part of one group, not all are friends, in fact some are even enemies. It seems a strange combination of potential friends or is it? As the party kicks off Justine and her uncle (the chaperone) have a lot of tricks in store for her guests. The wimps and jocks of the group also have a plan to scare each other. As the frights get more and more realistic and terrifying it seems someone is taking scaring the others to death rather literally!

Justine Cameron is inviting only nine people for her all night Halloween party. There's a team for the jocks and a team for the wimps. During the party, Justine has a few surprises like hunting for scary items. When someone is murdered, the fun stops and terror catches on them. You will find out why only nine people are invited to the party if you read the book.

This book is always keeping you on your toes you just never know whats going to happen next.It is one of the best books I have ever read! It's about this girl named justine and she is new at school and she wants to fit in so she decides to throw a party for some of the kids she wanted to get to know more. So she did and while they were at the party many strange things were happening like people went missing and even some one had died and you would never guess who was the master mind of all these strange things happening until you read the end of the book. This book is very good and i think you should read it if you like your heart throbbing threw the whole book.

A new girl in school invites certain people to a Halloween party. But there is no rhyme or reason as to why she invites these particular ones. They wonder why she chooses the ones she did. They aren't necessarily her friends, or friends with each other. It seems as though she picked people at random. A few people got their feelings hurt because they weren't invited. And there is a peculiar mystique about this new girl in school.

The people who were invited all go to the party. It starts out with a lot of food, music, and fun. There are Halloween pranks. Are they for fun or for real? You will find out. You will also find out what the mystique is about this girl. You also find out why she invited these particular people; there actually was a reason.

R. L. Stine's Fear Street books are awesome. I have read many of them. Even though I am not a teen, I enjoy them. I don't think I will ever get too old for them. Sometimes we just need a fun, young, less serious book.

I loved this book! It was great my favorite part was when we find out that someone you think is herself really isn't! But all around it is a good book.

This book is about 4 girls that have been friends forever! Three of them Claudia, Joy, and Sophia are going to their friend mare's manechin for a week. They are all really excited. Until someone is trying to make him or her suffer for wait they did a year ago. Read this book and find out what and who is making them SUFFER!

I think someone who would like this book would be someone who loves to go to the beach because it is all about the BEACH.

I enjoyed this book and I think its because I've read so many

books of his. I have been reading R.L. Stine books for a long

time, ever since 4th grade and I am now in 7th.

I liked the book because it had a surprising ending. I'm

really good at solving the problems and guessing what the

book is about, but this time I had no clue. There is a lot of

painful experiences and injuries in this book. Someone dies
at the end and you won't guess who. (It's tricky)

I think that everyone can read this book. It's at an average

reading level. Just about any age will understand it.

It's quite interesting...

I always like to read Stine, R. L. Fear Street's series. They are short but full of excitments. This book is mixed with both murders and romance. I quite enjoyed that and I could hardly put it down before finishing the book!!! This story is about a girl Claudia and two other friends who were suddenly invited by a long-time-no-contact-friend Marla to spend the weekend at her Cliffside beach house one summer. At first, they all had nice time and they chatted a lot. However, many strange accidents began to happen at the beginning of the first night and they also realized that Marla seemed to have changed a lot. The weirdest thing was, Claudia saw a handsome ghost boy - Daniel!! And he saved her life once in one when she was stuck in the sand and couldn't come out. Was Daniel the one who made the accidents? Why did her come to her and disappeared suddenly again? I am not going to tell you the ending of the story so go and check it out!!! You will definately fall in love with it too!!!

Corky and her friends think that the evil is back. All kinds of horrible stuff is happening. Like first one of the girls on the cheerleading squad falls and breaks her neck. So then there is an opening for another cheerleader. So they have try-outs and they have narrowed it down to three girls but, while they are discusing it a screw driver falls from the bleachers and hits one of the girls that made the squad so, then they have to pick the second best person and that is Lauren. So the only one that didnt make it is Ivy but, she stays at all the practices because she said that if something happened she could be on the squad. And then Namia almost gets burned to death so then Ivy is on the squad. Then Corky and her friends think that the evil is in Ivy because Ivy wanted on the squad really bad and all thoes girls started getting hurt so she could be on the squad. So Corky and her friends have a big ice skating party and the invite everyone so that Ivy will come and they can try and get the evil out of her. So they get a spell from this spel book that they bought and started chanting. But, then the evil comes out from below the ice and they know that they have messed up and that the evil never was there but, that they had just awaked the evil. Then the evil starts killing people but, they dont know who the evil is in. Then they find out that the evil is in Alex so they drown the evil out of him.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!! i have read all the cheerleader books and i have to say they are edge of the seat thrillers!!!
this one just keeps you gueesing till the very end.
corky and the other cheerleaders are worried that the evil has escaped from its icey prision were corky had put it when she sees a funny mist coming form a hole in the ice so they invite all the cheerleaders and the football team to an iceskating party to figure out just WHO the evil has taken over this time.
but they end up releasing it themselves.
more gursome deaths follow with a deadly chase for corky and her friends close to the end. you will never guess who the evil inhabits till the end. it is the most surprising one yet!!
i think all in all that the cheerleader saga is the best and recomend it to all rl stine fans!!!

However, this book had a very different plot and a huge twist at the end. A little tired, but worth reading!

The Second Evil is in the Fear Street Cheerleaders Saga. This is
the second book in the series but you don't need to read the first one
to get into the second one because they have completely different plots.
And if you like this one, there is a third one The Third Evil.

This is a book about a group of seniors at Shady Side High.
When Corky's sister Bobbi dies, Corky mourns at Bobbi's grave every
day. But one day she encounters an evil spirit and she fights it. She
thinks she killed it, but the terror has only started. When all her friends
start acting weird, she knows the spirit has gotten in someone's body but
who?

This is a young adult book with some details that may not be
suitable for younger readers. There were a lot of gross/gruesome
details that tell about how people got murdered.
So mainly seventh and eighth graders should read this book.

This book from R. L. Stine is the best book i have EVER read! If you love gore and thrillers, you would totally love this book. I think personaly the ages 10-15 would be the best ages for this book. There are 3 main charcters:Corky, Kimmy, and Debra. There is an evil sprit that goes and kills and many people that gets in her way. There is more gore in this book than the first one. (But not to where you couldn't read it). So far I have read number one and almost two books of this series, and I recomend both of them. But hey! That means you get to buy both of them, or all! Haha! Anyway, just to let you know, if you think Jennifer Daly diddn't die, you may be wrong. But im not telling!=]

Absolutley Astounding-A sure thriller!

When I read the Cheerleaders Series, I wanted to see which book I liked best.Either The First, The Second, The Third, or The Evil Returns. So I chose The Second, for its thrilling story, another by R.L Stine.

Plot:The cheerleaders are back!(Debra, Kimmy and Corky)And they think the evil is gone!Heh, well are they wrong!Debra's strange readings about the occult tell her where the evil is and if it is there or not, and she feels it, so Kimmy and Corky have to believe her!Corky knew it was there when the horrible screams rang through her ears as she chanted in cheerleading, and when the first death came, of her boyfriend, Chip. But when the evil freezes Kimmy and Corky falls and breaks her arm, she needs a warm bath..and when she gets into the room, Kimmy's there! Is the evil in Kimmy?Read this book directly to the end, and you will know!(I hope this is less than 1,00o words..)

A Great Book, But The First Evil Is Better!!

This is a super book with a super ending. I enjoyed every minute of it. I read the book in three days. It was that good. I would have finished it in two days, but I didn't read it one day. I can finish R.L. Stine books in two days if I read for several hours at a time. It was sad that Bobbi wasn't in this book. I liked her. It was also sad when Chip was murdered by the evil spirit. I was shocked that the evil spirit had been in Kimmy ever since the ending of the first book. I suggest reading this book. But I do suggest reading the first evil before you read the second evil so that you know what is going on.

When Kimmy saw Corky at the cemetery they watched her. Corky was in the cemetery mourning the death of Bobbi. When she saw Bobbi rise from her grave, she saw Bobbi. Bobbi's blond hair was caked with mud. Bobbi's mouth was about to open but instead a big fat worm came out. But it was another nightmare of Bobbi for Corky. This time, Corky had a boyfriend named Chip Chasner or Charles Chasner. Chip dumped Kimmy, his old girlfriend because he was liked Bobbi after Bobbi's death he liked Corky. When Corky was making hot chocolate something distracted her and she did not know the hot water was on her hand already so she burned her hand. When Kimmy saw Corky, Kimmy was begging Corky to sign in the cheerleading squad because of the double cartwheel Corky and Bobbi made. When Chip and Corky met Sarah Beth Plummer, Corky thinks something is strange about her. She knew the SARAH FEAR STORY!. When i was in CHAPTER 13, Corky heard a loud noise. When she saw Chip, she gasped in horror because his hand was cutted by a power saw. When Corky jumped in Chapter 20, she fell because Kimmy did not catch her. Kimmy told her she was paralyzed. When Corky was in home, she decided to take a hotbath. She was surprised to see Kimmy in the bathroom. But it was not Kimmy, Infact it was the evil spirit. The evil spirit explained why she killed Chip and Jon Daly, Jennifer's brother. When Corky was forced in the hot tub, she made Kimmy in the hot tub. When the evil spirit was gone, Kimmy was all wet. The next day, Corky saw a letter.
IT CAN't BE DROWNED!. It means the evil spirit was not defeated!

The Girlfriend influenced my life because it was full of intellectual curiosity and metacognition. The book is about a boy named Scotty, and his girlfriend named Lora. Lora was going on a trip away from Scotty for awhile, they said they're goodbyes and such, then lived life without eachother. I love how the book is filled with suspense, and things that you wouldn't really expect to happen.
This book has intellectual curiousity because when you read it, you question yourself, and imagine how the character feels. It has metacognition because the bad person in this story, Shannon, thinks she knew everything and everything about Scotty. She acted like he was her boyfriend and no one elses, so she basically stalked him. It taught me that it's scary to be a girl like that, but i've never done that anyways.

Ever wanted to read a book with suspense and strange things happening on every turn? The book I read was the Girlfriend by R.L Stine. It is everything that I just said in the beggining. Its about a boy with the perfect girlfriend and perfect life. But everything changes when he goes out on one date with a girl he doesn't even know. After that date the boy thought it was going to be over and nothing else was going to happen, but thats not the strange girls plan. She then starts killing the boys things in order to get him back. But eventually she doesn't get him, but only gets him into lots of trouble with his real girlfriend.
I like this book because its full of suspense. It was a twist on every turn. It was easy to connect to the characters because I understood what the said throughout the book. I also liked that there were many surprises. I also thought that there was nokthing bad about this book.

I think the book is too "imaginative". I mean a girl sees forrfic visions? The story was not even great.

this is a good book

This book is called The Mind Reader. This book is about a girl named Ellie Anderson, who has a best friend named Sarah Wilkins. These two girls go to Shadyside High School. Ellie also had a boyfriend named Brett. Ellie was informed that a young girl her age, was murdered two years ago. Ellie was devastated by the horrible news. Ellie started having these visions. These visions were about the girl who was murdered. These visions lead her to the body of the murdered girl.
The part that I disliked the most was the parts at the end were it ended with a kiss not a murder cast. Brett, also know as the mind reader, could read the minds of people. A quote form the book that scared me the most, was when Ellie said to Brett, "My mother used to have visions. I guess she passed that ability to me." That scared me the most because in the beginning I thought that Ellie didn't know about her ability, but know she thinks it was from her mother's genes.
Another quote from this book that caught my attention was when Brett said to Ellie, "I'm kind of a mind reader." This caught my attention because this was kind of funny to me because Brett was having so called visions, about a girl was needed his help. Brett thought that it was going to help find out who was the murder of the young teenage girl.
My favorite part of the book was when Ellie had the visions of the murdered girl. The way Ellie was sweating when she was having the visions. This told me about the whole story. It was really scary to hear and picture what kind of visions she was having. Another favorite part that I had was when Brett leaned over to kiss Ellie because of how much she was stressed out and scared from all the creepy visions that she was seeing. Those are the most parts in the book that really caught my attention and made me interested.

semi-good, mostly wierd and bad

Ellie Anderson has visions of things that happened in the past and things that will happen in the future. Ellie thought her visions were really cool, until they meddled with her love life. Ellie promises herself that her new life in Shadyside will not be ruined by visions. But Ellie's promise is broken when her visions lead her to a dead body in the Fear Street Woods. Now she must find the murderer before he finds her first.

When I finished reading this book, all I could say was 'Wow.' It was a fantastic Fear Street book! It had several different genres. Horror, mystery, suspense, romance, and adveenture. Let's not forget the surprise ending. That was shocking. Out of all of the main characters in the book, it was that guy. You'll never be able to guess it.

Read this book!

In the book, What Holly Heard by R.L. Stine, is a book about fiction. There are many characters and many events happen. The main character is a girl named Holly. She tells her friends all the rumors that she hears. Holly is thin and tall who always loves to wear a blue scarf. All these rumors cause her to die. Someone knows what she knows, so she feels scared that they might want to kill her.
The character that I admire most would be Miriam. She likes all her friends. She never says bad things about any of them. The character I dislike would be Ruth. Ruth at first is Holly's and Miriam's friends but then she gets really mean. She lies to her friends and even kills her pets and even her own friend! She hurts her bestfriend to be with her friends boyfriend.

I'm not going to say this book was bad because it wasn't. Even though it's somehow different from other Fear Street books, it's not a bad book. First, a girl named Holly learns a secret and then she goes on telling everybody. But now someone knows that Holly heard the secret. Holly probably heard too much. Now someone wants her dead to keep her quiet.

Best Fear Street Book of all times
