Interesting/CleverReview Date: 2008-02-28
The first chapter and the rest of the book tells about Brady's current girlfriend Allie. Allie turns out to be a wonderful, caring, sensitive, sensible, perfect girlfriend. But Brady meets very gorgeous Rosha and wants her. I think Brady is stupid to want ditzy Rosha instead of lovely Allie. I think he is making a very bad choice.
Something about Rosha is "weird" and she seems unattainable. But yet, Brady continues to go after her, and he is unwilling to give it up.
There is another "girl" who is an important character in the book: the scarred-face girl.
At the end of the book, Sharon, Allie, Rosha, Brady, and the scarred-face girl are all tied in together in this clever plot. But I will not say how, because I do not want to ruin it. I will say that it is a very clever plot idea.
This is a "teen horror" and I do recommend this book to teens who like a good horrifying horror book. I do not recommend this book to adults, unless they are like me, and sometimes enjoy a less-serious, fun teen book.
i love itReview Date: 2006-06-11
Its about a teenage boy named Brady who has a girlfriend named Shannon Noles. He made her sled in a dangerous part of Miller Hill when she didn't want to. But she died in a horrible death.
A year later Brady had a girlfriend called Allie. Then he met a very pretty girl named Rosha Nelson. He asked her for a date and she agreed. But every time horrible things happened she seemed to be around. Like when the car accident happened. Or when she accidently stabbed him with a letter opener. At least thats what he thinks. Also there is a scar faced girl who keeps warning him to stay away from Rosha. So could Rosha be dangerous?
I recommend this book to anyone who is brave enough to read about killings and blood. I thought that Brady could be a little stupid.

Hilariously Well Done!!Review Date: 2008-01-08
The reason I loved this book was because the plot was original and kind of weird and funny, and the characters were great. It's the most humurous in the Goosebumps series.
Personally, the ending actually made me laugh out in hilarity, and I was on the train. It was very funny!! Chicken, Chicken is a great book, and if you love humurous scares, then Chicken, Chicken is the right book for you!!

Probably the Best of the Fear Street NovelsReview Date: 2008-05-28
In Halloween Party there's a new girl in school named Justine and she is undoubtedly the hottest girl the boys have ever seen. They have all tried to get to know her but she brushes them off, all the girls want to be her friend for the obvious benefits of picking up the boys she brushes off. However they don't seem to be any more successful getting close to her than the boys are. So when Justine sends out invitations to nine of them (no partners aloud) to attend her Halloween party they sure aren't going to turn her down. She is very strict on the guest list, no one else can come and there seems to be no correlation between the guests, they are not part of one group, not all are friends, in fact some are even enemies. It seems a strange combination of potential friends or is it? As the party kicks off Justine and her uncle (the chaperone) have a lot of tricks in store for her guests. The wimps and jocks of the group also have a plan to scare each other. As the frights get more and more realistic and terrifying it seems someone is taking scaring the others to death rather literally!

Night of Halloween Fun . . . Or TerrorReview Date: 2007-01-07
The people who were invited all go to the party. It starts out with a lot of food, music, and fun. There are Halloween pranks. Are they for fun or for real? You will find out. You will also find out what the mystique is about this girl. You also find out why she invited these particular people; there actually was a reason.
R. L. Stine's Fear Street books are awesome. I have read many of them. Even though I am not a teen, I enjoy them. I don't think I will ever get too old for them. Sometimes we just need a fun, young, less serious book.

I loved this book! It was great my favorite part was when we find out that someone you think is herself really isn't! But all around it is a good book.
This book is about 4 girls that have been friends forever! Three of them Claudia, Joy, and Sophia are going to their friend mare's manechin for a week. They are all really excited. Until someone is trying to make him or her suffer for wait they did a year ago. Read this book and find out what and who is making them SUFFER!
I think someone who would like this book would be someone who loves to go to the beach because it is all about the BEACH.

books of his. I have been reading R.L. Stine books for a long
time, ever since 4th grade and I am now in 7th.
I liked the book because it had a surprising ending. I'm
really good at solving the problems and guessing what the
book is about, but this time I had no clue. There is a lot of
painful experiences and injuries in this book. Someone dies
at the end and you won't guess who. (It's tricky)
I think that everyone can read this book. It's at an average
reading level. Just about any age will understand it.
It's quite interesting...Review Date: 2005-11-06

The Second EvilReview Date: 2006-10-16
The Second Evil is in the Fear Street Cheerleaders Saga. This is
the second book in the series but you don't need to read the first one
to get into the second one because they have completely different plots.
And if you like this one, there is a third one The Third Evil.
This is a book about a group of seniors at Shady Side High.
When Corky's sister Bobbi dies, Corky mourns at Bobbi's grave every
day. But one day she encounters an evil spirit and she fights it. She
thinks she killed it, but the terror has only started. When all her friends
start acting weird, she knows the spirit has gotten in someone's body but
who?
This is a young adult book with some details that may not be
suitable for younger readers. There were a lot of gross/gruesome
details that tell about how people got murdered.
So mainly seventh and eighth graders should read this book.

Absolutley Astounding-A sure thriller!Review Date: 2004-03-24
Plot:The cheerleaders are back!(Debra, Kimmy and Corky)And they think the evil is gone!Heh, well are they wrong!Debra's strange readings about the occult tell her where the evil is and if it is there or not, and she feels it, so Kimmy and Corky have to believe her!Corky knew it was there when the horrible screams rang through her ears as she chanted in cheerleading, and when the first death came, of her boyfriend, Chip. But when the evil freezes Kimmy and Corky falls and breaks her arm, she needs a warm bath..and when she gets into the room, Kimmy's there! Is the evil in Kimmy?Read this book directly to the end, and you will know!(I hope this is less than 1,00o words..)

my point of view.Review Date: 2006-08-15
This book has intellectual curiousity because when you read it, you question yourself, and imagine how the character feels. It has metacognition because the bad person in this story, Shannon, thinks she knew everything and everything about Scotty. She acted like he was her boyfriend and no one elses, so she basically stalked him. It taught me that it's scary to be a girl like that, but i've never done that anyways.

This book is called The Mind Reader. This book is about a girl named Ellie Anderson, who has a best friend named Sarah Wilkins. These two girls go to Shadyside High School. Ellie also had a boyfriend named Brett. Ellie was informed that a young girl her age, was murdered two years ago. Ellie was devastated by the horrible news. Ellie started having these visions. These visions were about the girl who was murdered. These visions lead her to the body of the murdered girl.
The part that I disliked the most was the parts at the end were it ended with a kiss not a murder cast. Brett, also know as the mind reader, could read the minds of people. A quote form the book that scared me the most, was when Ellie said to Brett, "My mother used to have visions. I guess she passed that ability to me." That scared me the most because in the beginning I thought that Ellie didn't know about her ability, but know she thinks it was from her mother's genes.
Another quote from this book that caught my attention was when Brett said to Ellie, "I'm kind of a mind reader." This caught my attention because this was kind of funny to me because Brett was having so called visions, about a girl was needed his help. Brett thought that it was going to help find out who was the murder of the young teenage girl.
My favorite part of the book was when Ellie had the visions of the murdered girl. The way Ellie was sweating when she was having the visions. This told me about the whole story. It was really scary to hear and picture what kind of visions she was having. Another favorite part that I had was when Brett leaned over to kiss Ellie because of how much she was stressed out and scared from all the creepy visions that she was seeing. Those are the most parts in the book that really caught my attention and made me interested.

Ellie's visions have led her to a dangerous adventure...Review Date: 2003-12-06
When I finished reading this book, all I could say was 'Wow.' It was a fantastic Fear Street book! It had several different genres. Horror, mystery, suspense, romance, and adveenture. Let's not forget the surprise ending. That was shocking. Out of all of the main characters in the book, it was that guy. You'll never be able to guess it.
Read this book!

A great mysterious book to readReview Date: 2006-03-30
The character that I admire most would be Miriam. She likes all her friends. She never says bad things about any of them. The character I dislike would be Ruth. Ruth at first is Holly's and Miriam's friends but then she gets really mean. She lies to her friends and even kills her pets and even her own friend! She hurts her bestfriend to be with her friends boyfriend.
