This book is beautiful it uses both hand draw art and a compulation of quotes by the author ... i love to read it and look at the pictures --- whether you love warhol or angels this book is a definate yes to any collector

This book is an absolutely beautiful celebration of angels. Breathtaking full color pictures bring the book to life, and the poems and quotes included add to the book's stunning effect.

Ellen White was an amazing woman who wrote more books than any other female writer ever (and I think that the only man that surpassed her was Benjamin Franklin). You wouldn't know it to read one of her books but she only had a third-grade education! God truly inspired her writings and her life was an awesome testimony to God's ability to use anyone in any station in life. Everything she writes was inspired by God!

Simultaneously inspiring and heartbreaking........I can hardly thank the folks enough who delivered this brilliant gem of a book ...
I plan to buy as many copies as I can afford and share them with many people.....

This is the best book I never read before, all the poems take you to the beatiful place of reflexion and help you to forgot all yours mistakes of your past and also forgive, but the best thing this book do for you is start again.

I was given this book as a gift, from my Occupational Therapist the day I was discharged from the hospital as a kind of "Pick-Me-Up" book.. It has been that to me and more. There are a lot of uplifting short sayings and a lot of truths. I want to thank the Therapist who gave it to me, so Diahann, THANKS!

Charles and William Mayo were truly pioneers in the area of medicine. The Mayo Clinic is still considered one of the finest treatment hospitals in the world. This book is a collection of many of their favorite sayings. Split into two sections, the first consists of those of Charles and the second those of William.
Some of my favorites in the book are:

These words of wisdom will be valid as long as one segment of the human race devotes itself to curing the ills of all segments.

The aphorisms collected and edited here by Auden and Kronenberger are drawn from more than four hundred of the West's major authors. It seems almost superflous to give good examples , since every page of the work is rich with them. Who loves aphorisms will love this work.

Murray S. Davis is a genius. Like Nietzsche, he says in ten sentences what is usually said, or not said, in ten books. He makes you think, gives you much to think about, which is worth so much more than the price of this book. See also his "Smut: Erotic Reality/Obscene Ideology", the most profound book on sex I have ever seen. I reviewed that one here also a few years ago (no longer using that e-mail address).

This may be THE book of the century, indicating as it does that the teaching of Jesus Christ on what is necessary for salvation is consistent throughout history. This is an outstanding collection of what the Doctors and Fathers of the Church have said on this vital topic.
