The story of Paradise Kiss is very interesting. Its a great love story. It will appeal to an age group starting at around age 15+. This is the story of a young girl torn between two paths in life. The life she wants and the life she is made to feel she should live. Very enjoyable.

The thing about Paradise Kiss, is that it starts off in the first volume in a somewhat fantastical style, and then with each volume we get to know the characters a little bit more as they grow into adulthood and get ready to face the real world.

In Volume 4 the show is about to happen Yukari and George's relationship is now not such a sure thing. What seemed like a match in heaven is now seeming to become something that can never truely work out.

I think the thing I like most about this volume is hwo realistically it deals with the relationship of George and Yukari and the triangle of Miwako, Arashi, and Tokumori. This volume and the last volume make it pretty clear that its no longer a fantasy, but its real. Yukari is getting ready for her college exams and finding work as a model, George is still uncomprizing, and the whole Paradise Crew remains optimistic, even when its seems failure is eminant.

Oh, and another thing, guess what! We learn more about Isabella, woohoo!!!!

God Bless & *enjoy* ~Amy

Yeah! Another Gothic Lolita manga^_^

If you love Mana, you'll love Isabella. If you love funky Kogaru-Lolita fashions, you'll love Miwako. If you've ever wanted to design beautiful clothes or model or just look at a really cute goth boy, you'll love the others. The art is brilliant! (& very similar to I.N.V.U.)This story is also hillarious^.^

If you love this book, I reccomend Under the Glass Moon.

This book is the best for those who want a deeper understanding of reinforced concrete design.Since the author presents a step by step way to introduce the concepts, the reader is able to get a more detailed information and retents more concepts instead of procedures

This book was already one of the best concrete design texts and is even better with the addition of the new co-author James Wight, who adds valuable information on the design of concrete structures to resist seismic forces. There are a few minor errors in the examples that still exist from the 3rd edition, but they are minor and the examples are detailed enough that the corrections are usually forthcoming. I recently finished a MS in Structural Engineering focusing on concrete design and this book (3rd edition) was one of the 2 or 3 that I found myself referring to most often.

Sorry, I can't tell you why, but I bawled like a baby when I read this book. That never happened to me before. Oh, yes, I cry all the time in movie theaters, it embarrasses the heck out of my wife. But a book? C'mon.

King's Sacrifice brings the Star of the Guardians series to a cataclysmic conclusion. You have a good idea what's going to happen, you think, and then all of a sudden you get hit broadside. You better be sitting down when this one wraps up. Sagan, Maigrey, Dion, Tusk, all the wonderful friends you've enjoyed for during the story, they end up in the most surprising circumstances. And yes, it will make you sob your heart out.

This book, which was intended to be the conclusion of the Star of the Guardians series, is just about as different from the usual mass-marketable science fiction as you can get. Not only will you be alternatively mesmerized, horrified and deliriously excited by the graphic action, but your heart will truly go out to the main characters. You will marvel at their choices, rejoice at the outcomes or mourne their fates... do not think you will escape the conclusion dry-eyed.

And at the end, like the legions of Margaret Weis' fans, you will also want to raise a bloodsword to the courage of Lady Maigrey, Lord Sagan and Dion Starfire!!

King' Sacrafice will move you!

King's Sacrafice takes us back to the galaxy with Dion, Sagan and Maigrey. This novel picks up right where the prequel lets off......it is high paced, and leaves you on the edge of your seat. Scenes with Abdiel are very intense, and entertaining. I loved this novel due to the influx of new intriguing characters. See who will finally control the galaxy! Will it be Dion? Or Sagan? Or Maigrey? Or a combination of all three?

I am not a usual fantasy or sci-fi reader, but a friend convinced me to read The Star of the Guardians series. In fact, the only fantasy I had read before this were The Lord of the Rings. I became addicted to The Star of the Guardians as soon as I picked them up! King's Sacrifice stuck out in my mind as the best one in the series though (I cried more than I did in Gone With the Wind and The Man in the Iron Mask(the book) combined). The best part about this book was the inexorable destinies of Lady Maigrey and Lord Sagan, and their romantic interactions with one another. Now don't get me wrong! It isn't all mush, it is very quick-paced! The mush just got to me the most. The only thing about this book is that the writing is good, but not excellent like Ray Bradbury or Margaret Atwood...in other words, it's not what you might call a contemporary classic. From a well read person, I think you would like it.

true star wars comics

You see I've read the non-manga version of comics of the movies, honestly I was disappointed. The artwork was bad, they screwed things up, left parts out. but this, this is the proper star wars comic. I'm not really a fan of the japanese style of drawing but I think star wars wears it well.
this book ends just when luke comes across his home set on fire. I was a little disappointed that they can't just put all the books into one longer one to save the reader money you know instead of buying 4 books for ten bucks each. that is really the only flaw I see with this series. As I was saying, although Han Solo is on the front cover he doesn't come into the series till the 2nd book.
For all of you that are old fans looking for a comic that is actually fit to wear the star wars name, I think you will like this series and I did. There are 4 books in this series, there is also a manga version of Empire strikes back and return of the jedi, so if you get into this there are more.
I feel this japanese art style worked so well with star wars is because of all the action in it. That was one of the big problems with the non-manga version was that they were unable to draw all the action in it. This does it all really well. Also a good thing about this is that the expressions on the characters tell volumes about they are feeling. Sometimes the artists over-do it a little bit, but its really not a problem.
So, I'd say that this is for new fans, long-time fans, old fans, young fans everyone really. You won't be disappointed, really its good.

Incredible!

Well at least this is a more complete version of the film than the American one, I'm a great lover of anime and manga, and you can be sure that I loved reading Star Wars in this highly expressive style, This volume features many scenes scripted that never made even to the Special Edition.

Certainly artist Hisao Tamaki took some liberties like changing a little bit of Princess Leia's look, but I can asure you that it looks great and true to the original style... hey! by the way if George Lucas got inspired to create Star Wars by watching Akira Kurosawa's films then you can be sure this is a wonderful adaptation!

I wasn't sure what to expect with the Star Wars: Manga series. I wasn't sure if it would just be a tired retread of familiar material done with big eyes, or if it would be the first really quality adaptation of the Star Wars films. Because lets face it, most Star Wars comics suck. The art is lacklustre, with artists often trying to make their character look too much like Harrison Ford or Mark Hamill. The dialogue is flimsy, with characters either spouting catchphrases from the movies or just dropping awkward speech balloons all over the place. No, Dark Horse has not done much with the coveted Star Wars franchise to crow about. Until now.
I'm not one of those fans that preaches the unfailing superiority of Japanese manga. Nor do I decry the often exaggerated facial expressions and unfamiliar art style. I simply appreciate good comics, and this is good comics. This is the best graphic novel adaptation of Star Wars: A New Hope that anyone could ever ask for. The well-known script is adapted directly from George Lucas' original script, and so it includes the new scenes of the Special Edition releases from a few years back (Though Han does seem the shoot first in a highly satisfyingly violent scene). This is not merely a storyboard adaptation, but a true utilisation of what comics do best. Hisao Tamaki, who adapts and draws this story, uses plenty of panels just to establish mood and setting, most noticeable in the Mos Eisley Cantina scene. The characters, thankfully, are not modelled on their silver screen counter-parts, but rather have a life of their own. Action scenes are a beauty to behold, and Tamaki's kinetic style is really showcased. The lightsaber duel between Vader and Obi-Wan is infused with a distinctly Japanese aesthetic, giving the samurai-esque Kenobi a mobility that the honourable Sir Alec Guiness could simply never achieve. The destruction of Alderaan is handled far more dramatically than in the film, flashing panels of the people of that doomed world with the Death Star as it charges its cannon. The blast is one of those truly impressive sights that make your eyes widen in an attempt to take it all in.
Perhaps the most appealing part of this series is the way Tamaki exploits the lighter moments to brilliant effect. The Jawa's incessant jabbering, the mugging of Luke and Han, and especially the frantic chases through the Death Star in the third volume all illicit great little moments. Once one becomes accustomed to Tamaki's visual language, including little teardrops and pulsing forehead veins, it's easy to follow the laughs.
If there are any drawbacks to this story, they involve the inevitable problems in translating a Japanese work for an English market. Virtually all panels are mirrored to accommodate our left-to-right reading style. It seems that some action scenes devoid of dialogue were left in their original format, making the transition a bit jarring if your eye's sharp enough to spot the gaffes. I've read other reviews that disapproved of the sound effect lettering, arguing that it distracted from the art in certain scenes. I agree that the sound effects are occasionally overwhelming, but they are clearly an important part of the art style, and are used so effectively in certain scenes that I'm willing to forgive this minor sin.
For any fans of the Star Wars films or comics series, this set is a valuable and highly entertaining addition that lets you appreciate the classic tale in a new medium. I look forward to reading the following Star Wars: Manga adaptations.

Star Wars: A New Manga

I used to love Star Wars more than anything. It was the end-all, be-all of sci-fi. Then I started to read sci-fi books and watch anime. My opinion of Star Wars went down considerably. And over the years I saw the movies so many times I thought I would never want to see them again. Well, I am once again VERY excited about Star Wars...

What do I love about this Manga? Where do I start? First, this Manga is pretty much word-for-word exactly the same as the movie. Secondly, the art style is more than good. It's incredible. I never thought I could get into a comic book without color, but man this one changed my mind. Then there is the character designs.

Some people might not like their favorite Star Wars characters remade into anime-style characters with big eyes, but personally I REALLY dig it. I never really liked Princess Leia in
A New Hope, but man, get a load of what she looks like now! She just went from a character I didn't like to a fantasticly beautiful and deeply soulful character (well, that how I feel about it anyway).

Lastly, I will say that the action in this Manga series is truly amazing. From the first time a light saber lights up you will be amazed. If you love Star Wars you need this Manga. If you used to like Star Wars and now like comic books, check it out anyway.

Beautiful and entertaining.

This is a truly wonderful adaption. I love the style, and the whole thing is just so good you won't care that you've already seen the movie. It's like, you can really look over the good parts, taking in every detail. Thank God they kept it in black and white! The artist does an incredible job with shading and character likeness, and you can almost hear Mark Hamill's voice... This manga also includes a flash back and a cool pic of the sandtroopers on dewbacks. I'd recommend this for Star Wars fans in general, Japanese or American.

Title: To Know A Fly
Author: Vincent G. Dethier
Publisher: Holden Day; New Ed (June 1963)
Paperback: 119 pages
ISBN: 0070165742
Language: English

The complexity and simplicity of the "fly" has been ingeniously revealed to readers of all ages and breadth of scientific knowledge in Vincent G. Dethier's To Know A Fly. While the general reader may not be attracted to a book about flies due to the associated cultural stigma that brands flies as disgusting, ugly, useless pests this book brings attention to their value in regards to the advancement of scientific research.
To Know a Fly is a painless approach to the nature and value of the scientific method with the capability of exciting even the non-scientist. The employment of creative yet simple experiments are conveyed with both humor and wit. While trying to explain the importance of experimental controls Dethier tells a story of a man who believed he had trained a flea to jump. The man prepares an experiment where he progressively removes different appendages. First the feelers are removed and when the man requests "jump" the flea jumps. He continues to remove different parts and the flea continues to jump on command. Eventually only the flea's hind legs remain at which point he removes them and the flea fails to respond to the command. The man concludes that fleas hear with their hind legs. This statement is of course silly yet a great illustration that if experimental controls had been in place a more accurate conclusion could have been generated.
As the author artfully leads the reader on a journey of wonder exploring the many idiosyncrasies of fly, the reader is presented with many simple experiments that can be preformed at home. For example, in one experiment the reader is guided to answer the question: Do flies taste with their feet? First the fly is frozen in the freezer to immobilize him and then swiftly attached at the wings to a pencil that has been coated with hot candle wax. The fly is then lowered so that his feet touch the top of a bowl of water - if the fly is thirsty he will lower his proboscis. When he is done he will retract the proboscis. If the fly's feet are then lowered into a bowl of sugar-water he will quickly extend his proboscis and when quickly dipped into the water again he will retract the proboscis. I'm looking forward to trying some of these experiments myself once the snow melts and I can actually find some flies.
In addition to wondering if flies taste with their feet Dethier asks and answers some other silly yet curious questions, throughout the text, concerning fly behavior and physiology such as: Does the fly land on the ceiling by executing a half roll or an inside loop? To which Dethier reveals the answer is quite interesting. Flies actually hover below the ceiling, reach up above their bodies and attach their front legs to the ceiling and then flip their body over and attach the other legs. A more complicated question presented in the text is: What mechanism causes a fly to select different proteins at particular stages in life? Dethier not only provides several possibilities to explain this phenomenon but also suggests possible experiments to test these hypotheses.
Dethier asserts that the acquisition of fancy equipment and a college degree may help foster a great scientist but that there are two essentials: an insatiable curiosity about life and an experimental organism. He asserts that flies are the ideal experimental organism made up of over 50,000 species. However, today, 44 years after the publishing of this book, there are over 100,000 known species of flies. The validity of some facts in this book can be questioned due to the major advancements in technology that have taken place in the last 50 years. It is recommended that the information in this book be used as a guide rather than as a reference book for it is much too old and out of date.
However due to his credibility it is likely that information in this book was presented accurately based on the current information at the time it was written because Dr. Vincent G. Dethier was a prominent insect physiologist, research entomologist and an expert in his field. He wrote over 170 scientific papers and 15 scientific books of which To Know A Fly and several other books that were written for individuals that did not have a scientific background one of which, Crickets & Katydids: Concerts and Solos, won the John Burroughs Medal for distinguished Nature Writing
Dethier's common sense approach to science makes it enjoyable for anyone with a curiosity for the way the world works. This would be a great book for students starting out in science or students with an aversion to science because it is presented in a humorous tone with interesting antidotes to keep the readers attention. Because this book was written for a non-science audience there is not a lot of technical language among the 14 short chapters making this book easily read within two sittings.
From start to finish there are intertwined stories, experiments, facts, observations, cartoons, questions, and even excerpts from plays. This compilation of different types of writing within one book allows the reader to not only walk away with some noteworthy facts about the fly but also insight into the mind of a scientist. In addition, the simplicistic manner in which the information is presented is capable of provoking thought in even the most advanced scientists.

I assigned this little gem of a book to my psychology students when I was teaching at Antioch College in the late 1960's. I am now asking the teachers who are offering a Science and Math Summer Camp for Alaska Native middle school students to read it, to re-ignite their sense of the fun and excitement of scientific inquiry. Truly a timeless book, it is similar to "The Little Prince" in its capacity to stay in one's thoughts for decades.

"To Know a Fly" is very well known among researchers in the life sciences, but almost completely unknown to the general reading public. That's a great pity, as this is one of the clearest and wittiest books ever written about how science is actually done. Dethier does a superb job in conveying the excitement of discovery, even in as mundane a subject as the common housefly.

Amidst entertaining passages describing how to anethesize a fly (pop it in in the freezer) or make fly scapels (break up razor blades) or surgical probes (drop dressmaker's pins on the floor) you'll learn, in passing, a lot about the neurophysiology of the fly.

If you're student in the life sciences, you owe it to yourself to hunt down a copy of this book. If you're a reader with even a casual interest in science, grab this one if you come across a copy.

Shamanic wisdom, mystical spirits, Native American culture--if these are your heart topics, and you love the way Lynn Andrews writes, you will love this book.

Lynn Andrews returns to the familiar magical storytelling mixed with the idea that we can all be mystics if we only follow her shamanic wisdom. I'll admit a love-hate relationship to her books. "Jaguar Woman" moved me from my cynical, career-driven bent, but as my own path developed before me, I followed Andrew's less. Possibly because I could not match her shamanic travels, uber-human experiences and amazing way of life.

This paperback is another of the Sisterhood of the Shields series. Here, Andrews explores the inevitability of aging and death. She examines the many "little deaths" that occur in life--getting let go or fired from a job, a death in the family, divorce, the long-term illness of a loved one.

The book is an introduction to 'elderhood' with a recognition of another transition--one in which we accept what is, even as we see our friends begin to age and die. We learn to withstand these times and to grow from them.

As Americans, we generally hide from death or simply defy it. This is a good book to grasp the reality of elderhood.

For about 25 years Lynn Andrews has written memoir after memoir of life as an urban shaman living between both worlds. Tree of Dreams examines getting older and balancing her two lives. This book is less fantastical and the passage of time has lessened the melodrama of her earlier work. I still don't get The Red Dog rival and wonder still if he is some imaginary antagonist to make this Native American like. Overall, an interesting perspective on getting older and holding the medicine wheel in Andrews' world. I just wonder if this belongs in the non-fiction section and whether the Cree tribe in Manitoba, Canada are getting royalties. Having known a Native woman who lived on a reserve in New York State, one thing seems to be common - they don't rejoice at Andrews or her work.

As I've followed Lynn's growth and teachings over the many years that she's written (I have an older copy of Medicine Women with the native women and crow on the front........pages have fallen apart, the cover taped back on, etc.), I was pleased when I came across this newer addition to her volume of work. In this book she descibes her feelings on what it's like to have an ailing parent and the process of death. She describes her on going search for answers which also proves that even for all she's learned, she still does not profess to have "the truth". Quite the contrary, she wonders about good and evil, duality, etc.. Her on-going relationship with Red Dog is put in a somewhat different light. It's almost a love hate relationship. A good read and very down to earth. What is interesting also is the process that was involved to write her first, Medicine Women.

A powerful and moving metaphysical reflection

Tree Of Dreams: A Spirit Woman's Vision Of Transition And Change by Lynn Andrews is a deeply moving narrative of her quest for growth, spiritual fulfillment, and better understanding of sacred things. Embracing the power of healing and coping with "little deaths" such as divorce or the sudden loss of a job, as well as the great losses of loved ones to "Time's Eternal March", Lynn Andrews' Tree Of Dreams is a powerful and moving metaphysical reflection. Also very highly recommended are Lyn Andrews' previous books: Medicine Woman and Jaguar Woman.

A Traitor Is Revealed As The Ultimates Get Busy!

This one may be the best since The Ultimates, Vol. 2 - Homeland Security. In this one, Captain America is arrested for the murder of fellow Ultimate teammate Hawkeye and his family!

But all isn't what it seems as both a traitor (its not who you think) and a new player (who was revealed in The Ultimates 2, Vol. 1 - Gods & Monsters) emerge to push America itself to the brink of destruction as SHIELD, The Ultimates and even their versions of The X-Men, Spider-Man and The Fantastic Four are taken prisoners by The Liberators, a group of foreigners who are counterparts to The Ultimates and SHIELD.

Returning to help The Ultimates are The Hulk, Iron-Man and Captain Britian but can even these people free the heroes in time to take back America from The Liberators?

Personal opinion is that this book is worth the $20 or less that you will pay for it! Great story and great art!

Word of warning though! It may be a comic book but this is DEFINITELY NOT FOR KIDS! This is definitely for the adults!

This is it!
I've been collecting the Ultimate books for a while and I even ordered this one while I was just in the middle of reading The Ultimates 2, Vol. 1: Gods and Monsters because it was THAT good.
Volume one had a lot of character building and even took some interesting chances with the Captain America character. I wasn't even sure I liked Steve Rogers anymore but this book, Vol. 2, made me realize that it was master move from writer Mark Millar and artist Brian Hitch's work is better than ever and it will amaze you with an included surprise exclusive of this volume.
I'm not gona spoil the surprise for you but it can only be described with one word: EPIC.
Get them all. This is a must for any adult MARVEL fan.

Simply spectacular superhero action

Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch's much beloved (and much delayed, yet again) Ultimates reaches it's shattering climax with Ultimates 2: Grand Theft America; in which everything comes to a head. An imprisoned Thor makes impassioned pleas to Nick Fury and the rest of the team of a traitor in their midst, and that the end is coming; and yes, he was right. Soon enough, the Ultimates are seperated and incapacitated, while new threats emerge that plan to tear America apart at the seams. Millar's writing is top notch as he gives us his visions of villains like the Abomination and the Crimson Dynamo; while his characterization of Ultimate member Hawkeye is the best the character has seen in ages. Bryan Hitch's artwork is super detailed to say the least with incredible depictions of superhero action, and his work alone is reason enough to pick this TPB up, even if you've never read the Ultimates before. By the end of the book, things will never be the same for any of those who walk away from the massive battle that concludes this TPB, thus the Ultimates are set to go in a new direction, even though Millar and Hitch won't be at the helm. All in all, Grand Theft America is a perfect conclusion to Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch's smashing re-imagining of the Avengers, and it goes without saying that this TPB is a must own.

Awesome - a must read for fans!

This volume caps the series and is a Must Read for fans of the Ultimates. The artwork is superb, the story exciting with the sort of writing that is new to the world of comics: real emotions and situations, real relationships that span months (not single issues!) all in a sci-fi world that's not all that different from our own. (Well, okay, the whole super powers thing isn't commonplace around here... but other than that...!)

Great fun, very involving - go get it!

Nearly flawless ending to Millar/Hitch's run

So after burning through the first 3/4 of the series, I tore through this in a day. It was all leading up to this. So many burning question were resting on this finale to deliver. The team was at its ultimate low, and there is definitely a traitor in their midst. Well as the story unravels, so does the mystery. I didn't think it was incredibly predictable, (although it wasn't too difficult), but it felt like it was wrapped up too easily. There were plenty of red herrings and clues to sort of narrow things down, but when it came down to it, I felt it was sort of a cop out explanation.

The cover depicts The Ultimates going into battle with the likes of the X-Men, FF, and Spider-man which leads you to believe those characters are featured. They are, but very briefly. It's a great cover, but to me it was quite misleading. I enjoyed the fact that they only focus on The Ultimates because I didn't want the flow of the character development to be disrupted, but just goes to show you can't judge a comic book by its cover art, its job is to sell the book. Not trying to spoil anything, just don't go in thinking its a team up book and be dissapointed. I would have rather not known they were going to be in it and be surprised by the cameos.

An otherwise good finale, it ties up loose ends while still not skimping on the action (the group finds themselves in the middle of WWIII) and manages to still leave me wanting more. While I think Millar and Hitch were an awesome team (Hitch's work is so consistently good throughout) I'm even more excited that Jeph Loeb will be taking over for Ultimates 3 along with artist Joe Madureira. Loeb had me at The Long Halloween so I will pretty much read anything he's written and if he can continue with the streak he's been having I have no doubt it will be worth my effort. From what I've seen of the preview art, I can't say grabs me nearly as much as Hitch's series defining artwork, but maybe it'll grow on me.

Not the biggest shocker of an ending that I was psyched up for, but still not a complete disaster and is worth picking up to complete the arc. It's nice to be reading Marvel again after so long and remembering what was so great about it. Congratulations to Millar/Hitch on a job well done.

This comic- excuse me, 'graphic novel' is part of one of my favorite series. The artwork is OK, but some of the characters look a little odd at certain angles. However, the slight flaws in the art disappear form your mind as you get wrapped up in the plot and the new characters- Durge (he's really cool, even though he's really evil) and Asajj Ventress (who isn't technically new because she appeared on Volume 1. This was the first time she and Obi-Wan met) This one also interested me because Obi-Wan was the most featured character. Everyone mostly thinks about Anakin and his turn to the dark side, and not about the other important and interesting characters, like Mace Windu, Obi-Wan, Quinlan Vos, Darth Maul (yeah, he didn't last that long, but wasn't he cool anyway?) and General Grievous. At least Vol.1 had a lot of Mace in it. Anyway, the first story is about the Seperatists bio-weapon, and the first Obi-Wan vs Ventress fight. The second story is about Obi-Wan's mission to find the antidote to the weapon, and he teams up with four jedi legends to do it. We learn about their histories breifly, then a detailed acount of "how their histories ended" anyway, as a lame way to finish this, this is good. Buy it with vol.1.

Better than volume 1

This GN was better than vol. 1 in many ways. The main reason is that it focuses on Obi-Wan for a change instead of Anakin(Yay!). Contains an excellent story about a Seperatist bio-weapon. It involves Durge and Asajj Ventress, which makes everything much more fun. Also, Durge is much improved from his cartoon version in how he knows how to talk. To improve things, what he has to say is usually intelligent (and funny), contrast from most little-known Star Wars villains.
A good Durge quote:

Durge: "You know, it's been over a century since I killed a Jedi... and today, I get to kill four of you. Add that to the Gungans I already murdered, the hostages I'm going to kill later, and all the Naboo who will die tomorrow, and it's a damn good week."

Out of the first 4 Clone Wars novels, this is the best.

A lot better than Vol. 1

After the disappointing Volume 1, this was a much better story. It introduces an extremely interesting Jedi named Master Fay, who is much too short lived. I know that tons of tons of Jedi die in the clone war, but it doesn't make it any easier when it does happen. I'm much more a fan of the prequels because of the Jedi and the abundance of them. Luke Skywalker is so weak whines even more than Anakin and is never really a real Jedi. Even though I was born in the mid 70's, the classic era isn't as interesting and the victories seem so far fetched, just like all the death of the Jedi seem in the Clone Wars. Anyway, both Asajj Ventress and Durge are present in this book for fans of those two characters.
