Role Playing Books

I picked this up at Gencon last year. Very useful, contains many prestige classes, skills, and more. Worth the price. The (black and white) art is also commendable and complements the text nicely.

The screen shots are excellent and the hints are all you'll ever need to get through the games whether you're playing on Super NES, Genesis, Sega 32X, Sega CD or PC CD-ROM versions.

Unfortunately it's now out of print, so if you can get your hands on one, don't pass it by!

This Alternity Star Drive adventure has all the makings of a future classic. The adventure itself has a variety of interesting things to keep adventurers busy: enigmatic aliens, smuggling, a planet with a hostile environment, and starships hovering around. It seems like so many adventures for SF games in the past skewed too far towards just one of the aforementioned elements; rarely have all of them appeared in one book. This has something for everyone. Plus, the art is simply some of the best RPG art ever. I don't even play the Star Drive setting and I feel this is an essential addition to any SF roleplayer's library.

Way back in the early days of roleplaying games, the fring publishing company known as Judges Guild provided some of the most imaginative and provocative game supplements of their time. Gaming has come a long way since then. Dungeons and Dragons has undergone a mighty facelift. Would the new, revived JG be up to the challenge of the state-of-the art?

You bet they are! The Player's Guide to the Wilderlands represents much of what got people like me hooked on fantasy games in the first place: vast, unexplored wildernesses, exotic cities with strange denizens, mossy ruins of vanished civilizations, and just a little humor to keep things edgy. Production values, once the weak point of JG products, have been brought up to contemporary standards. The regional map is gorgeous.

The book contains background and game information on the Wilderlands, including a rough sketch of major cities (plus a more detailed look at the City State of teh Invincible Overlord), details on the exotic races of the Wilderlands (Amazons! Blue Skinned Avalonians! Hawk-men! All available as PC races!), a listing of many of the Wilderlands' gods and religions, a brief history, and a geographical gazetteer.

If you are tired of the Forgotten realms, are no longer frightened by Ravenloft, and seek an alternative to Greyhawk, go forward to gaming's past. Give teh Wilderlands a shot.

This book is awsome i bought it and am still amused by what it has taught me this is great if you are starting or have already started a must have

Pojo's first book, "Total Dragon Ball Z" was simply the best informational DBZ Book on the market ..... until now!

Their first book came out in 2000. Three years later they have followed it up with another great informational book. This book has detailed bios for over 500 characters that appear in DB, DBZ and Dragon Ball Gt! About 50 pages of this book are the bios, and most of the characters have good images.

Other cool stuff includes:

Complete Dragon Ball GT Episode Guide, with summaries of all the GT episodes.

Complete DB Movie Guide, with summaries of all the DB/Z/GT movies.

They also complete the DBZ episode guide that they started in their first book. The first book stopped at like episode 125. This one picks up from their, and has summaries of all the episodes through the end of Dragon Ball Z.

There's also a cool Dragon Ball Z Toy Collectors Guide ... showing cool stuff from the U.S. and Japan.

The book has a lot more stuff too. If you are a DBZ fan, I can't think of a better book for the price!!!

THIS BOOK IS GREAT. IT HELPED ME LEARN ALL THE STUFF I NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT GYM HEORES. IT HELPED ME MAKE A BETTER DECK. THEY GIVE YOU ALL THE GREAT STRATEGY AND HELP YOU UNDERSTAND GYM HEROES. BEFORE, I BARELY KNEW HOW STADIUM CARDS WERE USED. NOW, IT MAKES SENSE AND I GIVE ALL THE CREDIT TO THIS BOOK!

Let me start by saying I had no idea who or what a Pokemon was before I made this purchase(with the intention of learning more about this craze that all the children are into these days.) My 9 year old has decided that she wants to start collecting and since I didn't know anything at all, zero,zip. I wanted to know at least something about Pokemon. After my purchase, my husband and I now know more than we ever really wanted to know about Pokemon! :0) Excellent resource for those just starting out or just "us" slow learners. Very easy to understand and just as easy to refer back to as a reference. I would highly recommend you purchase Pokemom Made Simple guides. They are well worth the money and not as expensive as some of the Pokemon books that are circulating.

I thought that the content of this book was extrodinary. It was about the same as the first one but I always had wondered what the fossil TCG would be like. When I collected the full collection of PKMN cards I was delighted. I share the collection with my friend Philip who is just as mad about Pokemon as I am. The book is very helpful because in my old one I ticked of al of the ones I had so it was a great help. It also gives you lots of Pictures of cards at least not in Japanese so I am venturing towards being the ultimate PKMN trainer. The book describes the cards perfectly so I can develop my skills on playing and defeating against my opponent. I hope everyone who gets the book enjoyed as much as me. Bye!

This book was the best! A story for every game, a walkthrough, maps, it had everything! I think I'll never find a better book than this one.
