What I like about this produce is that the verbs are in alphabetical order. What's missing to make it a good purchase is that there is no color distinction or size variation between the main verb and its conjugations. Also, the print could be larger considering the size of the book. I would have been happy to pay a bit more to have it be more user friendly.

This is an awesome book. The verbs are conjugated in all tenses. The verbs are in alphabetical order and defined at the top of each page. It includes examples of how to use the verb at the bottom of the page. Each verb tense is explained (in an easy to understandable way)at the beginning of the book. It also includes a mini verb quiz.
I am going to minor in spanish and am excited to use this book. It's just helpful to have all the tenses organized in one book instead of trying to search for them. I highly recommend this book and hope this review was helpful.

This book was recommended to me by my Spanish Teacher and it is a really good resource to use while learning Spanish or just to use for reference. I recommend the 555 Fully Conjugated Verbs to all interested in Spanish.

in addition to the advantages that others have pointed out, such as the examples provided, there is another plus which I don't think anyone else has mentioned. The book gives examples not only of the verb in use, but also of nouns and vocab that are related to the verb in question. So for example, for the word 'Anadir' (which means 'to add'), the book gives sample sentences containing the phrase 'por anadidura' (in addition:') and the noun 'anadido' (addition). These supporting phrases and vocab are every bit as important as learning to conjugate the root verb itself, and I have yet to find a verb book that does this in its sample sentences.

If you want to know and share what is math, you have to read books like this. You have to know that math is about thinking and solving problems. But that's not all there is to it, you have to know that she's like a beautiful woman, she's about beauty, art and love. That's what a man who is in love would 'think' about his beloved one. That's what you'll say the moment you begin to understand math. You'll fall in love with her.

The work of G.H. Hardy is now and always shall be important to anyone studying mathematics as a career or the sciences where mathematical thought precisely applied is of importance. This text is a must have for those of such a nature. Any quibbling that others may forward is simply jealous ego. Buy and use this book.

First, this is very nice book that was first published in 1908. It is EXTREMELY well written BUT what Hardy does in around 500 pages Rudin does in around 100 and with a more rigor (but, admittedly, very terse). You also have to remember that if you are studying analysis from a book 100 years old there are a few things that have happened since then - like the "Incompleteness Theorem" and the development of forcing, along with a much more rigorous development of set theory, topology, complex and real analysis (I'm not even sure the idea of Lp measures was fully accepted then). Still, this is great book to have - if you can get a really good used copy for $20, please buy it and seriously look it over. But don't study it and think you can attack many of the problems which are now routinely assigned in advanced calculus/real analysis. Even grandpa had to keep up with the times.

Writing about analysis has come a long way since the days of Hardy. There are a number of modern books on the topic with clear, vigorous prose that is lacking in Hardy and provide better coverage. But to be fair, mathematics is a developing endeavor and you'd expect improvements during 100 years. Mostly a curiosity. I believe you can read it online for free.

Cuban-American Chavi has such character and spunk. Your children will fall in love with her conga sounds/passion for perseverance/spunky attitude/and the cartoon-like, wild illustrations. A must buy for anyone interested in exposing children to ethnic cultures set in US communities/barrios and Spanish & English language.

This is a wonderful Fairy book with beautiful illustrations throughout. I purchased this for my Twin Granddaughters who just love it and can't wait to make our first Fairy house together in the garden this summer. Clap your hands if you believe in Fairies :o) We do!!!

This is a great book! I have young children and they were so inspired by this book, they wanted to build their own fairy house! The story brings everything back to nature and to be respectful of the creations around us. I have to admit that I enjoyed the story just as much as my children.

"Fairy Houses" is such a precious book. Our little girls (age 6 and 2) are very much captured by the fairy house idea. When we went camping, they were so excited to build one. They also enjoyed the DVD "Kristen's Fairy House."

My daughter is 7 and is in love with the idea of fairies in our garden and all around us. She loved the book and is now making fairy house on hikes and in our yard. It is a beautiful book.

that's new edition (39ª) is diferent of the 37ª. in this new edition the anatomy is broached in chapters of topografical anatomy and not sistemic anatomy. Topografical anatomy is most interesting for a medicine.

i bought a used copy and its such a big book that its spine does take a beating and its worth getting it new and with the dvd and the subscription. if your gonna use all the resources its so worth it, but the book is well laid out and easy to use, the pictures are well done and the text is well easily scanable for fast reading

This is an AMAZING book to say the least. I have to say, that this book is not for someone who is just starting in the medical field, as it is written in complex medical terminology. However, if you are in the medical field, than this book is a great reference. Every section of the body is broken down to the most minute detail. And the illustrations/pictures are absolutely amazing; they make learning anatomy fun and a little easier. I have to give kudos to all the authors and illustrators of this text... well done! It's also good to do exercises with ;)

Totally distinct from earlier editions is the radically different organization of this classical textbook: the human body is no longer described as containing different systems - the skeleton, the vascular system, the nervous system,...- but the body is now divided in regions. The reason for this radical change, chief editor Susan Standring (King's College, London) explains, is that in the real world, practising clinicians in their daily practice use a regional approach, rather than a systemic view. Therefore, it is understood that the new, 39th Edition of Gray's Anatomy is more adapted to the needs of surgeons, radiologists and other clinicians, than to medical students or scientists interested in the area of human anatomy. However, there is some consideration of the editors for a section `systemic overview'. So, the endocrine system, the blood (haematopoietic) and immune system are not entirely overlooked.

In particular, when regarding the master gland of the endocrine system, namely the pituitary, readers should know that this organ may be found in the `region' of the diencephalon (Section 2.1.). So, neuroanatomists may rejoice that they finally regained control over the capital region of the human body, and over all body functions regulated by this region. Unfortunately, unlike the 38th Edition, the editor of this section has decided to relapse into a terminology that was already obsolete 15 years ago. `Chromophobic' cells belong to the dark ages when new imaging techniques were still looming for their curious but ignorant discoverers. Bibliographic references are reduced to a baseline level. This would result in insufficient source material for research purposes, but, on the other hand, the references are concise enough for users that may feel comfortable with a general slowing down of scientific progress.

However, many, many advantages of the newly revised topics may be found in this 39th Edition. For those interested in the anatomy of the pelvic floor, the inner ear, or the organization of the peritoneum, Gray's Anatomy will meet their expectations. Also shortcuts to topics like assisted fertilization, preimplantation embryology are included, although it never has been easy being both at the cutting edge and also a textbook that bridges the generation gaps. Therefore, together with many, I will be looking forward to the 40th Edition.

Being pretty new to hunting and only having 2 full seasons under my belt I felt that I didn't really have the knowledge required to be an effective hunter. My confidence in the field wasn't all that high and I was looking for a good book that could fill me in on all the things that I didn't understand. After reading the reviews on this book I decided that this was the one I was looking for and WOW I was right!

Everything is covered in this book! After reading it I really feel like I have a much better understanding of whitetail behavior, plus, I'm much more confident. It's not just about deer either; it addresses so many other aspects of hunting. It covers, gear, firearms, proper shot placement, and that's just for starters.

I can't wait until this fall for deer season. I know the only way to become a true veteran hunter is to spend years in the field, but this book will certainly give you a boost if you're looking for some good knowledge!

Aimed more at the gun hunter this book is still among the best. Obviously written by a hunter that hunts wild free ranging whitetails there's something here for everyone. I own 60+ books on whitetail hunting . If you hunt whitetails on public land or big woods in north/northeast states and Ontario you should own this book.

This is my first book on deer hunting (or hunting of any kind for that matter so accept this review for what it's worth). Being new to hunting, I wanted to find a book that would give me enough knoweldge about the topic so as not to embaras myself too badly when I went hunting with my friends who invited me to go deer hunting with them this fall. From what I've read so far, this book is better than I expected. All the advise makes sense and is presented in a very straightforward manner. It goes through great pains to explain as much about what to expect when on a hunt as it does about deer and their habitat.

Of the many novels Louis L'Amour wrote about the Sackett family, Jubal Sackett may be his best. The story is set in early America in the wild Rocky Mountain country--before the mountain men arrived. The story is addictive. I listened to the CDs at home, at the office, and in my car. It may also be the most creative and imaginative story that L'Amour every wrote. It is highly recommended.

I loved the content and the reader. Louis L'Amour did extensive research for the book and did a fabulous job a capturing the adventure and romance of the era. It's hard to imagine the frontier with all of the modern conveniences we currently have but the author paints a reasonable picture.

A typical L'Amour book - a dashing, trustworthy protagonist, just trying to live in peace but able to defend himself if and when necessary. Jubal Sackett is loved and trusted by all except the villains, who themselves have absolutely no redeeming qualities at all. In other words, the characters are very flat and monochromatic, and as a result, they come across as very artificial.

One thing you have to hand to L'Amour, though - he writes book easily read in an evening.

A very good story. I would have liked to know more of what happened before it ended. I found out that there are 3 books in the series that I needed to read before this one so I ordered them today. I would recommend this series to my friends and family.

This by far is the best audio book Ive listened to.

The guy reading the story has an accent that fits the story perfectly. While this is a lengthy book it is never boring

This is more of a picture book than a text-laden history book, but it's the appeal of the many photos, pictures, illustrations, and even cartoons that make this book a fascinating one to read. The book includes photos of all the conspirators, in life as well as death, along with other interesting details such as a letter Booth wrote as a teenager. Today few remember that John Wilkes Booth was the teenage heart-throb of his day, making it all the more shocking when he was involved in the assassination.

The details of the trial sound like something from some fantastic kangaroo court, not the U.S. For example, the defense had no time to marshall their case, interview or call witnesses, or even to meet much with their clients. The jury was composed of generals and military men, not civilians, and their decision would be final, with no right of appeal.There were indeed judges in the courtroom, but they were watching from the audience.

The public and the press constantly talked about their favorite conspirators, of which the young, handsome and dashing looking Lewis Powell was the favorite, who attempted to kill secretary of state William Seward with a Bowie knife on the night of the assassination, rather than the president, but was foiled. Even the decision of who to prosecute left many questions unanswered, as several suspects with far more incriminating evidence weren't even brought to trial, whereas others with less evidence were tried and executed. The authors suggest that this might have had more to do with who actually plotted the murder vs. who was involved with post-assassination attempts to shelter Booth.

However, it's the stunning visual presentation here rather than the now well known history that is the star here. This book will be enjoyed by any history or Americana buffs or anyone interested in a well done presentation of a unique event in our history.

Excellent addition to any Civil War library. Text has nothing really new but reads very easily. The "gold mine" in this book are all the photos, some of which are new to me.

Great reading leading up to the hangings of the shooting of President Lincoln and even greater pictures which have never been displayed before , I have a collection of 150 civil war books and this will be a great additon to my collection

This is an EXCELLENT book. The pace reads like a movie. The characters are expertly depicted and the author presents a flow of events that kept me reading continuosly. The sparse use of photos bothered me at first but then I realized that I liked it better not to have too many images.

Although I detest Mr. Swanson's attitude toward the assassination & "scholarship", I am very pleased with my copy of this book. It has a great deal of fine photographs, and makes a very enjoyable purchase for that reason only. Unfortunately, the authors titled the book very oddly -- as those who went on trial were not Lincoln's assassins, and some of them were not even privy to the plan at all, and equally unfortunately, the actual assassin is given only 2 or 3 photographs out of the many included. There was also an sickening decision made when there are pages and pages of essentially identical photos of the hanging, which are not only revolting but very repetative, and could have been greatly reduced to make room for more interesting & varied photographs. That aside, I found the painting by Lew Wallace, given an honorary spot in the front of the book, to be perhaps my favorite assassination-related picture to date. I am very grateful for this book.



P.S. Reprinting the cover to look more like Manhunt? Bad idea. The 1st edition was so much prettier.

A detailed look at how gifted kids are identified, and sometimes under identified, with a particular emphasis on those that measure in the highest levels of the gifted range.

Written in a conversational tone and full of interesting case studies... a pleasure to read.

Importantly, Dr. Ruf provides detailed and specific recommendations regarding educational options for gifted kids ... rather than offering a menu of possibilities, she gives parents explicit recommendations based on their child's individual cognitive and behavioral characteristics.

A valuable book... highly recommended!

An excellent perspective on methods to deal with gifted children. The "levels" of giftedness as defined by Dr. Ruf give parents and educators more detailed information on what makes these children "tick" and how best to educate them to their full potential.

Don't abandon your precious gifted child to the "tender mercies" of the public school system. If you have a gifted child, you need this book. If you were a gifted child, you also need this information.

This is a very helpful book in getting a feel for the levels of giftedness, as Ruf terms them. I think the criticism leveled against this book stems from a misunderstanding of its role - it is not meant as a definitive description of every single gifted child that ever lived, although the author does very reasonably try to draw some generalizations from her observations. If taken in the right perspective, the book provides very useful guidance in understanding the qualitative nature of the different levels of giftedness and helps parents have an idea of what they might possibly expect of their child in the future. If nothing else, I think anyone reading this book will definitely come away knowing more about gifted children in general and with a definite idea of whether their own child fits that sort of mould or not.

As the parent of a gifted child, I have spent the last 15 years struggling to insure she was in the proper classes and getting instruction that was meaningful and challenging to her. And, although she had been tested by a psychologist, we never knew just how gifted she was, as no one would release the data to use.

This book contains a wealth of information on gifted children. Broken into three main parts, the book follows the children from birth through to college. Those three sections are:

Is this information worth it? Absolutely, as it is impossible to deal with school administrations (or teachers for that matter) without all of the ammunition. This book provides the ammunition you need to not only identify your child's potential, but also to advocate for them in schools. The book also gives parents a good idea of how they should be dealing with their child and some of the problems that will appear in the future.

I would recommend this book for any parent that thinks they may have a gifted child, young parents where there is already a background of giftedness with one of the spouses and for every teacher who can potentially end up dealing with gifted children.

Dr. Hale is the foremost authority on medications and breastfeeding. This book also contains pregnancy categories. A great deal of information is presented and well organized. Written so as to be readable by laypeople.

This is used by the lactation consultants. I purchased for my own personal use. Very helpful and easy to read.

As a busy Women's Health NP, I have used other texts on medication use in pregnancy and during lactation, as well as Dr. Hale's website. I find this book enormously helpful in my practice. It is clear and concise, as well as being very comprehensive. It is great to bring into the exam room to review the information with the patient.

As a new mom, I was very paranoid to ingest any medicines. This book informed me of all medications, AND vitamins. I was looking for a book that also contained herbs. This one has a few, and a good rating system. Very clear, and layperson terms.

As a pharmacist, this is absolutely the first book I turn to for any question about medication and breastfeeding. It's very readable, and has both the quick, "bottom-line" recommendation and an explanation of the quality and quantity of research that led to that conclusion. I recommend it to anyone in the medical field who might encounter a breastfeeding patient as well as any woman who is currently breastfeeding or plans to in the near future.
