This book has been a long time coming. One of the absolute greatest movies of all time has been quoted in all it's glory. Each of the classic lines are here from "Fredo you're my older brother" to "Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes!" Each page is elegantly illustrated and some quotes even reference their refering shot from the actual film. No true Godfather fan should be with out this classic addition to the original work.

I ordered this product not fully knowing what to expect. What I got was more then expected! This product has a very nice front and back cover and the pages are lined in gold - think of Bibles that have gold on the page lining. It shows great classic quotes and backs most of them up with clips from the movie. My friend loves Godfather and absolutely loved this book when he unwrapped it! 5 stars well deserved!

Tatyana's put together a wonderful inspirational gem of a journal. I find myself turning each day to that day's journal entry, to see what quote of wisdom Tatyana has chosen for the day. One of my favorites quotes is on October 23 (I peeked ahead), by Francois Voltaire... "The ability to do mischief can be found a hundred times a day". Perfect!

This journal is so different from any I have seen. Not only are the quotes unusually thought provoking -- the way the book is designed to open and lay flat like a notebook makes it so comfortable and inviting to write in. A gold star for GOLD MIND!

I bought this as a present -- for my wife -- but ended up getting another for myself. this is the first journal i've ever been motivated to keep daily -- been doing it now for over five months. the motivation comes from the 365 often very inspiring epigrams & quotes the author presents. there's one on each page that stimulates -- then the author asks for your personal response. the result is a stimulating daily session i'd never have written without the journal's prodding. also unexpected fun has come from comparing my entry with my wife's ... the book is unique and a great idea!

I bought this book at a book sale for $2.00 and was surprised at how much I liked it. I recently had a difficult decision to make, picked up this book, and it actually helped! I am going to buy one for my children and grandchildren. It is not only "good advise" but a lot of fun to read. I sit down to read just a few sentences and stay a lot longer than I intended. Great for a coffee table, guest room, or bathroom!!

This book is overflowing with good advice. 400 pages and 2000 quotations of wisdom from the sages of the ages. The authors go through the alphabet and give several quotations for a whole bunch of topics starting with each letter. For instance under the letter "R" he covers;Reading,Reality,Reason,Recreation,Regretting,Relationships
,Relatives,Religion Reputation,Resignation/Acceptance & Resolution.
Now ,with that much coverage for every letter ,you'd think they would have touched on everything. Well,not so,they have made one glaring ommission---they never did get around to giving any advice as to what to do with all that good advice.Now ,maybe that isn't too bad because that allows us to do with it as we see fit.
Personally,I intend to apply it to myself rather than to lay it on someone who needs it more;which is highly unlikely.People have been giving me advice all my life ;but the only advice I ever followed is what I figured out for myself.
With that said;here are a few bits of advice that struck me as pretty good:

This work gives life- advice by subject. Each subject such as "Resignation" "Resolution" "Rest- Relaxation" "Restraint" has around five to ten quotations devoted to it. The quotations are from a wide variety of sources, and provide the kind of 'dipping in ' pleasure that books of this sort usually do.
The idea is that " the more than 2,000 quotations' are to help you live your life.
Whether or not they will do that is of course a real question. My suspicion is most books of this kind have their chief value in the small pleasure we get from them while reading them.
But who knows what 'Eureka' any particular reader will find on any page.

The two Mr. Safires express their joy in finding such concise expresions of good advice. Like poetry, good advice does sum up a whole lot of feelings and thoughts in one or two punchy phrases. Language is really neat that way, and I like the book for that, too. But what I love about this book, and why I bought it for myself and my littlest brother, is that each sentence reminds the reader that each of us is mulling over the same worries, and same concerns and the same desires... for success, for friendship, for self improvement. So the good advice is all the more useful, because it comes with a connection to other people who were thinking just like you at some point.

While I was browsing, I saw this book. I glanced through it & decided to buy a copy for my daughter. That evening, I decided to read it through.
I couldn't put it down. IT WAS SO VERY INSPIRING. I decided I wanted to buy 6 more copies for gifts. Everyone can use this very uplifting and inspiring book. It applies to everyday life and is a real gem.

There is nothing better than to be able to reach for my Hope Happens book and let it open randomly...I am amazed at how the right saying will appear for the right situation and uplift me out of my despair and dejection. Having initially read this book from cover to cover I have found many a favourite saying which has got me through tough times. A wonderful book for anyone who has ever lost a loved one, especially if a child has passed away. I gave it as a condolence gift. The artwork is superb, and the messages are uplifting and comforting.

This lovely book is intended to comfort those who have suffered a loss, and it certainly does. Spiritual without being denominational, it offers hope and gentle wisdom through some comtemporary poetry and an assortment of lines from classic writers. The beautiful images of child angels are stunning and touching. A wonderful gift for angel lovers or for sad hearts.

This is an excellent book to give or receive! The sub-title In the light of loss - gives insight to the beautiful poems and prayers contained inside. I found this book to be of great comfort and hope. The paintings by Nancy Noel are magnificant.

I'm drawn to quotations. They speak to the soul, provide guidance in good times and bad, and give glimpses into the past. I have built a collection over the years, which I carry with me each workday. What pulled me especially to Ms. Maglaya's book was a quote cited on the back, The wisdom of the wise and the experience of the ages are perpetuated by quotations (Disraeli). I couldn't have said it better.

This is a companion book to Ms. Maglaya's *The Complete Success Guide for the Immigrant Life.* Scan it and you quickly realize that, like The Success Guide, the quotes she selected are useful to everyone, not just immigrants. First let me say that I have this audio book on cassette, CD and also a hardback book. I am that impressed with it. What this CD is all about:
1) It is like Dr. Chopra is standing next to you and comforting you.
2) He speaks of ways that the body within will heal you and how to concetrate on healing and then the healing will come to you (or you will begin to feel better).
3) Dr. Chopra speaks so soothingly that I really enjoy this.
4) This is a SUPERB CD to listen to when you are ill or stressed out. I personally listen to it when I have a bad cold, flu, or a headache, etc.
I started with the cassette version of this in 2003. So impressed with the cassette version, that I ordered this in the CD version. (Prefer the CD's to cassettes). In my opinion, ALL of Deepak Chopra's CD's are wonderful. I own over 12 of the CD's and all of the cassettes that Dr. Chopra has ever written. Since 1995, I have listened to Dr. Chopra's audio books and have read 6 of his books as well. All of them I still own and refer to.

The cassette and book of Journey Into Healing is highly serene, comforting, peaceful, and abundantly filled with beneficial wisdom. I have listened to this tape several times and I highly recommend it. I, along with many people I know read and enjoy many of Dr. Chopra's books and tapes. Journey Into Healing is highly enjoyable and a rewarding learning experience. Journey Into Healing is among my favorite cassette tapes and Dr. Chopra is among my favorite author's. He is an incredible being that shares enormous knowledge. I am an author myself on Amazon.com and Journey Into Healing is one of many cassettes and books that have contributed to my personal development and inspiration. Highly recommended.

After listening to this book, I found myself rewinding it to listen again. Dr. Chopra's principles are simple to understand, and do not conflict with most religious convictions. For me, this book has enhanced my understanding of what role I play in my own healing or dis-ease in life. In taking the time to perform the meditation of which Dr. Chopra speaks, has helped this me to slow down, listen to what my body says, and act accordingly. I am sharing my good fortune with others.

I've had this program on Audio Tape for many years and always thought it was wonderful. It is filled with wonderful music, thoughtful, sincere narration by Deepak and is filled with many insights that can help one remember truths about ourselves.

While I will be the first to admit that I don't take everything Deepak Chopra says at face value. Often I feel he is an excellent "compiler" of ideas but not necessarily very spiritually evolved himself (which he has implied himself on programs I have). He is not only excellent at compiling but he is very adept at bridging the ancient with the modern, the sages with the Quantum physicists in a way that anyone can understand. For this alone I think he deserves deep praise.

I've used this program to help me reconnect with my true self and go within, to remind myself of deeper aspects of myself and those around me.

It's a nice transition to use for meditation as well, especially if you're stressed and need to be eased in gently. Of course I'd recommend doing Yoga for that purpose as well or even playing this tape while doing gentle poses to help create an atmosphere of centeredness while reminding one of these truths.

This is my second copy of this inspiring devotional. I wore out my first copy. I like this book so much that I ordered two extra copies to give to my 22 year old daughter and my twin sister for their birthdays this summer.

This book is like an angel perched on your shoulder that whispers secrets when you most need them. It comforts, encourages and supports those on a spiritual journey seeking a closer walk with God. This book is Soul Food for the spiritual traveler.

I have used this devotional for about 5 years now, since it was given to me as a gift from a dear friend and mentor. It is full of wisdom and insight and truth that relates to our daily lives today, even though most of the excerpts were written centuries ago. Some days I find I need to read the passage through a few times to fully absorb the meaning of it; other days it hits home right away. I find it amazing that the things the many authors wrote so long ago are still so relevant and applicable to my life--but I shouldn't be surprised, since God's word is dynamic and relevant. I appreciate the list of authors and their dates of birth and death listed in the back with references to the pages of their writings.
