This is a very good book. How do I know? Jo Nutt is my grandpa! And Janet Limbke is my aunt.

The patterns and styles of the hats in this book are GREAT ... and produce a consistant finished product. A good investment for any grandmother who wants to make designer hats for her precious off spring.

Although this book qualifies as a typical coffee-table book, the photography and text provide an intimate, intriguing look at the many styles of architecture and decorating that can be found in LA. Especially interesting are the historical properties. I recently (and reluctantly) moved away from the City of Angels, and I miss the region immensely. I'm looking for a copy of this out-of-print book as a keepsake and an inspiration.

It's a really productive study of Switzerland. A highly graphically developed book, but also in terms of the text, explanations and in terms of chronological terms about history of Switzerland. A unic set of books to understand Switzerland in aspects of: History, culural and linguistic diversity, bringing all this together in terms of an Urban Portrait.

Stonehouse is a master when it comes to Great Lakes research & storytelling. This book is more research than storytelling, but it is still great. The synopsis of the wrecks are short, sweet & to the point. Awesome book & highly recommended.

This book is an exceptional resource for those just beginning to offer a creative art program in their school, or for those experienced in offering creative arts who want some new insights to add to their program! This book is NOT a guide to arts and crafts, it is far more than that. It truly draws on the philosophies of Reggio Emilia and the concept of using creative art as a form of self expression, but these concepts are presented in such a way that even an educator with no prior knowledge of Reggio Emilia could implement the program successfully. It includes descriptions of various art activities (including watercolors, tempera paint, clay, and more), materials lists, and instructions for clean up, but even more valuable to me were the guides to conversing with children as they worked in an engaging, but non-directive manner. A must-have book for anyone interested in offering children creative art opportunities!

As usual Winnie the Pooh and friends, warm your heart, and make you laugh. I bought this book for a little boy I care for, to introduce him to the Spanish language. It worked like a charm! He thought if Winnie the Pooh could 'speak Spanish' so could he. The story line is very easy and enjoyable to read, and the pictures are at their usual best, a must have for any Winnie the Pooh fan.

This story is fantastic in its dealing with leaving certain things in life up to mystery. A touch of Wimsy and with excellent illustration.
