This is a clearly written book for producers of DVD's with ideas of how to tighten up your workflow; how the intended output dictates choices. I wanted help with navigating the material on a DVD. DVD Studio 4 makes this easier than version 3 and this manual clears up some issues as well. Book clarifies some procedures that the manual covers not as clearly.

When I left college, I roomed with a guy who listened to Jungle Jam every Saturday morning on the radio. We would sit and listen together and laugh like maniacs at this radio show made for kids!

Now I have a 3-and-a-half year old son, who LOVES Jungle Jam. He listens to the CDs every day, and has renamed all his stuffed animals after the Jungle Jam gang. The nice part about Jungle Jam is that even after listening to it a dozen times (you know how kids are) it's still funny. That's a rare thing.

Sometimes the lessons of the story are a stretch (like in Dial M for Monkey) but the stories are creative and fun, and the music is lively and catchy.

A whole lot of fun, for parents and kids. Highly recommended for mature kids of age 3, and all kids from age 4 to ten or so.

It should come as no surprise to anyone these days that computers are capable of producing pretty powerful graphics images. The majority of the art you see in ads is computer generated. Mr. Raimes is a noted designer that has been using a computer as his took for many years. This book is a study in what can be done using computer techniques.

This is a produsely illustrated guide to what some of the best computer artists have done. It is not a text on how to do it. It does give a brief introduction to the equipment you will need (His comment: 'The ultimate machine for the serious graphic artise, the Power Mac G5.') as well as a brief discussion on software.

Mostly he talks about the concepts of what you can do. He talks of pixels and vectors, of letters and photos. In the final chapters he talks of getting your images in front of people using the Internet and getting your images displayed in galleries.

A great idea book for the artist, either fine or commercial.

This is a good starter book if you are learning Director 5. It's a simple book for the beginner to understand. Macromedia also includes a cdrom will all of their product demos. Also includes a save disabled version of Director 5.0

I bought it for my niece for her birthday and she loved it. she loves all the musc in the book.

I have a 2 1/2 yo who loves Disney Princess stories. This version is perfect for her because it tells the entire story without being too wordy/too long. I can read the entire story to her during storytime or as a nighttime story...whereas with other versions I can only read parts because they are too long to keep the attention of most 2 year olds.

Ariel had friends, Scuttle the Sea gull, and Flounder the fish. One day she came up above the water to find Prince Eric. She really liked him. She saved him one day, she traded Ursula her voice to be a human. Ursula almost got him to marry her. Ariel and Eric didn't kiss. She got her voice back. He washed up on shore. Ariel's dad noticed she really did like him, so he turned her into a human, and let her go and they married, and live happily ever after.

I think this is a very good, and cute story for children.
It teaches you that you should just be yourself, and not trade something of yours for something else of someone elses. Just keep what you have and like it, and to not let anyone blackmail you.

Anything that can keep my 2 year-old son's interest for long periods of time and for several months is a winner in my book!

This book has pages for: Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Monster's Inc, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, The Incredibles and Cars. It is very high quality with a cushioned cardboard cover and nice thick board book pages, so it has been durable and stood up to my son's "tough love."

My son will sit and find all items in the whole book. Several months later he still brings it to us to do with him. He quickly learned the point and can identify all items, and still loves it. There are advanced activities that are great and we are just starting them.

I reccommend this book, you will love the big bright pages, super quality and your child will love this activity around characters and stories they already know. The price is absolutely on for the quality of these books.

It is a two-in-one mystery book and is about a train mystery. There is also a new character in the story from California. All in all, it is a very good book!

A book of photography telling the story of a Zoo Doctor and his animals. Mostly pictures, but some moving text as well, which really connects you with the reality of the situation. There is also, "A way with animals" by the same author which is equally wonderful, and a little more accessible.
