Anyone interested in Victorian literature or interpretations of writings during the Victorian era should read this excellent
commentary. Also an example of feminist criticism at its best.

If you love the bard, you must buy this or the whole Arkangel series! I like the recent movie of Love's Labors Lost but it
is really a Hollywood extravaganza which includes a little S. On the other hand, you can hear the whole text read by specialists
on Arkangel.
I think the choice is easy. This is so much better!

I was fortunate enough to have seen the fabulous Brian Bedford do this show live twice in the past and when I saw it was available
on cassette tape I jumped on it. He has a marvellous voice and his take on Shakespeare soliloquy's is about as good as it
gets among classically trained actors who are alive today. Bedford is a master of his craft, nuanced, smooth and brilliantly
able to interpret the Bard on any level. Get this and pop it in your car and enjoy, or better yet, sit back in your favorite
easy chair and escape to the land of Shakespeare, transported by this great actor of our times. Bedford resides in Stratford,
Ontario, Canada and New York City. He devotes much of his stage and directing time to the Stratford Festival of Canada and
I highly suggest you get there to see him in something sometime as his classical acting skill is unparalleled today by most.

Good quality, excellent delivery time. Would have liked to have had it on CD rather than cassette, but figured if you did
not have it on CD, it was not on CD. Hard to find cassette players (other than in the car) now, everything is MP3, CD, etc.

Macbeth (Classical Comics) Was the other book in the set I bought. They also do a 'Plain English' version but I thought I'd
see how these worked. They are great! This version has been borrowed by family, friends and neighbors.Everyone of them has
been full of praise, from the thirteen year old next door to my old mom. The graphics are stunning. Those witches scared the
socks off me at any rate. I could understand every aspect of the play simply by following the pictures. But - I actually used
this one to help me over the parts of the original play that I had trouble understanding. And I sailed through it. Tell you
what, I'll be reading more of these.

In my Amazon parcel this week the books have all been brilliant. This is one of the best. (Alongside my Dean Koontz. Yes,
I know, such variety!!)Worth the wait, this book and it's companion (see my other review) have changed the way I see Shakespeare.
I was reading the plays because I had to. I'm reading these books out of choice. Colour, action, powerful imaging meet and
match The Bards immortal words. Which are all there. Yes, all of them.Rather cool pages about the real Macbeth told me things
I didn't know. I like this. A lot.

on the play itself.

Shakespeare has always been a bit of a puzzle to me so this book came as a pleasant surprise. The complete play is complimented
by drawings which are exquisite and quite dramatic, nicely enhancing one of the greatest dramas in the world. The best way
to describe it is to say that it reads like a comic although there are not many comics on the market of this quality. There
is certainly no question of the play being dumbed down and I intend at some point in the future to expose my children to this
work as an introduction to the greatest writer that ever lived.

I purchased this item with several other books regarding William Shakespeare's Macbeth. This is the best Macbeth version
out there for those who want to read and understand Macbeth. The pages have plenty of space to write notes and every scene
is explained in regular words for those who are having difficulty with the material. Besides the book, the CD-rom is its
best feature with games and tests. It makes it easier for adults and not just kids. If you're wondering how to approach
Macbeth to even the difficult and the challenged students, this will be the best 14 bucks you ever spent. Don't be a fool!
It's a bargain at that price. I remember reading Shakespeare's plays in books with plenty of footnotes to only complicate
matters.

Interfact Shakepeare series only includes Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet so far. Both books are easily readable and allow students
and teachers to follow along in its setup. Each scene is explained in a synopsis and the dialogue is faithful to Shakespeare's
language. What makes this exceptional is the CD that comes with the book. The book also provides useful information and helps
you out with the CD. The CD is a great asset and is filled with easy tests, games, and allows the teacher and students to
explore Macbeth without worrying about getting it wrong. This book and CD should be available to all Literature and Language
Arts teachers everywhere. Macbeth should not have to be so hard. It's worth the money, believe me. It's truly a bargain.
