Using an easy to read format for both kids and their teacher or parent, 1-2-3 Draw is a wonderful resource for budding young artists ages 6-10. Throughout the book, the author uses practical tips to teach techniques (sketch lightly, store work in order to save it for later), getting organized (a materials list is provided at the beginning of the lesson), and an index for those quick art activities.

I found the lessons to have a consistent format and style, which is crucial for self-directed study or art lessons from a novice instructor such as parent or older child.

The 1-2-3 Draw books are so much fun! I am 35 and still draw the same as when I was in grade school. My kids ages 9 and 7 are always are asking me to help them draw something but they draw better than me so I am no help at all! Now that we have these books, we all are learning the little tricks you need to know to be a better artist. It's simple, very clear and easy instructions to follow, fun AND everything turns out looking great! They'll be teaching their friends how to draw before they know it. I wish I would have had these when I was a kid.

1-2-3 Draw Cartoon Cars was created by Steve Barr who lives in the mountains of North Carolina. He writes and draws syndicated comic strips and has illustrated children's books and board games. His artwork if filled with life and fun and he is also known for his animation projects.

In this book children learn to draw cars and have the option to add cartoon faces. Some of the cars include a Dragster, Convertible, Race Car, Souped-up Roadster and Volkswagen Bug. Each drawing begins with sketches formed from basic shapes and then children can color in the pictures with colored pencils.

A certificate at the end of the book can be filled out to certify that your child has completed the "1-2-3 Draw cartoon Cars" Course.

Not only was this book easy to use and understand, it was fun to experiment with. Each monster starts out with a set of shapes that really don't look like they'd form much of anything, but as each step progresses, you start seeing a character come alive before your very eyes, and before you know it, you've drawn something that looks like it could go into a comic strip!

These books are so fun! I cant draw at all and bought these for my kids. We have fun drawing together and its so easy with the step by step guides. I hope to collect the whole series for my kids.

One of my friends had this book! It is so awesome! It really helped me draw. I am not a very good drawer, but with the help of this book I made a master piece Alien! This is a great book!

This books offers an interesting look into the world of Accented Cinema. It skillfully defines the genre and gives wonderful examples of its characteristics via a wide variety of exilic and diasporic films from all over the world. Some knowledge of the film industry is virtually a necessity to comprehend this in-depth masterpiece; moreover, readers will gain the most from this book if they have viewed a substantial amount of what would be considered "art-house" and foreign films. This is very thick reading designed for academic and theoretical purposes, not for a relaxing pleasure read, but having said that, the material is quite interesting and it is difficult to find other books on non-mainstream cinema that explore such a wide variety of films.
