"The Re-Education of the Female" by Dante Moore is definitely a hilarious read. This is one of the funniest books I've read this year!
Dante Moore chooses a very controversial topic to write about - women - which will always be a topic with two sides. He gives tips from finding a man to keeping a man. In this reviewer's opinion, he still has a lot to learn about women. I found this book very funny, but unfortunately not interesting. It did not teach me anything helpful about finding a man, and I felt a little degraded by his standards required by women. . Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and Dante has definitely shown his true feelings within this book. I would look forward to reading more of his books in the future...as long as the subject is not women.

Novels of comic strips are always difficult. The authors are usually stuck having to deal with a lot of often contradictory back story while at the same time know that anything that they write will be ignored by the comics writers. Being stuck with that David Bishop has done a good job sprinkling the novels with bits and pieces from the original stories. Also a highlight of the stories was seeing how a couple of supporting characters from the comic behave on their own. The omnibus can get a bit repetitive at times with the same kind of plot devices being repeated e.g crest gets nullified at times so Dante is on his own but then how many times did the transporter break down in Star Trek. Over all the stories are an o.k read for the fans of the character and since I can't give 3.5 stars I will say 4.

Save your money
The writing here is juvenile. Paragraphs are incomplete. Chapters don't scan well. Has the author ever had a writing class?
But wait there is worse.
The author stole!!!!!!
He has plagarized a character!!!!!
If you want to read about a thief that is well written and well done, go to Harry Harrison and get the Stainless Steel Rat books.
But wait if you pick this piece of drek up, you'll see that there is a chracter called James di Grizov who is the best thief in the galaxy. But you should know that Harrison's thief was named Jim diGriz... A coincidence? Or this author too weak to be original...

When I purchased this book I thought it was a study guide that included practice tests for each topic. I was not aware that it was just tests. This book did not have sections for review; therefore, in order to answer the questions I was pulling data from the internet. The questions in the book were by far the most difficult questions to answer unless you are a medical science major or nursing student In my opinion this book was not geared toward undergraduate level credits. I do not believe that this book should be sold separately without being advised of the content, and reference a textbook to retrieve the information from. While this book is a great tool along with study material, in my opinion it cannot stand alone.

What a great story. We reccomend the series with a 5 star review. However, as another person mentioned, the binding is faulty. We returned our second copy today as the pages are coming unglued as you turn them. What a bummer. Maybe 3 times is the charm!

There's nothing really wrong with this study guide but Ethics in America is an easy DSST and can be passed just by studying DSST Success for a week or two. Unlike CLEP this DSST has lots True/False questions and earning a passing score of 46 requires more common sense than anything else.

Sorry but I have to spill the beans on this one. Too many of his books contain questions and answers which have no connection to the actual examination. Try to differentiate between a quick knock off (like this) and a decent book that might actually get you through the test.

I'm still waiting to hear whether I even passed my Dantes exam on Astromony. I used this book as well as 3 other text books on Astromony to study. I pulled WAY more useful info from the textbooks that ended up being relevant to the test. This study guide covered just a small portion and although helpful for that portion of Astromony, did not prepare me for the entirety of the test.

If you know nothing about money and banking, then skip this book! This book works well for people who are already in the banking business and is familiar with the terms and definitions of the money and banking world. I ended up buying the actual textbook to study and understand how to pass this Test. If you're in the banking world, then go for the book. If you're starting out as clueless as I am, don't bother....get the actual textbook and study that instead. Or better yet, ask the advisor if you can take a different test.

I read the entire study guide, I even typed out all the correct answers and studied this outline for 3 days straight. I also looked up any definition I couldn't find in this study guide in one of Mishkin's money and banking textbooks and still ended up with a 48 (fail).
This book is OK, but is really only worth about 15-20 questions in the actual test. Go ahead and procure a Financial Institutions Teacher guide, one with all the sample test banks in order to be more successful on this test.

If you go through ALL the questions and try to relate the answers, and you have general knowledge of how money works in the US, you may be able to pass. Technically, the book DOES deliver what it is supposed to, which is a ton of sample questions and answers that have appeared on previous exams. If the author went one step further and provided EXPLAINATIONS to these answers, I would have definetly given it 5 stars. I used this and REA's Money and Banking and I scored a 48, which is the minimum passing DSST score. The only reason why I even bought this book was because there wasn't an 120collegecredits.com guide for it yet.120collegecredits.com is your best bet for study guides for the vast majority of your clep/dsst/Excelsior exams. Visit the website for more details and good luck on the test. BTW, I already sold my copy of the rudman book, sorry :(

I bought this guide to study over a two week period before sitting for the test. I spent about 2-3 hours per day 4-5 days of each week taking the practice tests, looking up questions I got wrong and making detailed notes. By the time I was ready to sit for the exam I could ace every practice test in the booklet. Imagine my surprise when I sat for the test and felt completely unprepared. I managed to pass, but honestly, I don't think this book gave me any kind of advantage, I just got lucky in that several of the questions on the exam were common knowlege or common sense. I would NOT reccomend this item for the Human/Cultural Geography DSST. The questions in the book are not even remotely representative of the exam questions. I would strongly recommend picking up an inexpensive used textbook and studying chapter summaries instead. It would probably give you better odds of passing. Basically, your $25 could be better spent elsewhere.

Aristocratic Leila and her self-made boss, Dante, meet and have a whirlwind affair that culminates in an engagement during a week-long company retreat. When they return home and begin planning their wedding, Dante is shocked to discover that the woman he loves and trusts is engaged to another, much wealthier man. Leila attempts to explain that the situation is not what it seems, but she is unwilling and unable to exit her first fiancee's life. This reluctance makes the stubborn, arrogant Dante refuse to listen to anything she tries to tell him, assuming that she is a gold digger. The relationship cools. Soon afterward, Leila discovers that she is pregnant but Dante has to find out from an employee. Angry and hurt, he insists that the wedding go through as planned for the sake of his unborn twins. Leila does all she can to make him stop pulling away from her but the distance only grows. Her doubts about marrying him make her cancel the wedding an hour before the ceremony and disappear to a remote hideaway to sort out her life. She can never marry Dante until he learns to trust her, respect her and treat her as an equal. But will he decide he loves her enough to change? Time passes with questions lingering. Will Dante ever swallow his pride and let Leila explain about the other man? Can they deal with the other secrets in Leila's life? The questions aren't particularly captivating and neither are the answers. The characters do seem like real people, just not people you'd really like to know. Nice love scenes, sweet interaction between the two when they aren't at odds, good job of revealing Dante's inner thoughts. Somehow, though, the sum just isn't equal to the parts.
