This book is her moving account of her own year-long investigation into the suspicious death of her then 19 year old beloved brother Peter. Was it murder or was it suicide? Why could she not have access to reports on his death? A very personable and intelligent young man, Peter dropped out of Bishop's University and became involved in drugs on the streets of Montreal. He renounced his mid- to upper- class background as the son of a prominent attorney to seek out the idealistic life as a "flower child" of the sixties. This book gives an excellent view of that decade "when many of a generation's best and brightest lost their way in the Garden." This account is a very moving story of love, loss, and ultimately of healing for the author. It is of particular interest to those of us who grew up in those times.

The format of this book is similar to the other two titles in the Naked series, (Fireworks, and Dreamweaver). There are a lot of Flash books out there, but this one is way above the rest. This method of learning works well for me, but means you have to do the "projects". The book has excellent diagrams and pictures, which is important when trying to learn Flash, since you need to go all over the workspace to make a movie.......I had written more here, but the Amazon system erased it.

I loved this as a record when I was a kid, and now my kids love the CD!!!

New English File, as its name suggests, is the new and improved version of English File. Unlike the original English File, which came in four levels (Beginner, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate), the new version is a revision of the first two levels (Beginner and Pre-Intermediate.)
Unlike the original English File 1, which is divided into 10 files or units, the new version has 9 files for both levels. Also unlike the previous version, where you would encounter several sections on each file from A to (sometimes) H, the files in the new edition only have four sections: A, B, C and D.
A new addition to the new version is the MultiROM, which contains both an audio CD (in the original edition refered to as the "Listen and Speak" cassette/CD) and a CD-ROM, which the original English File did not have. The CD-ROM part of the CD contains the videos from the New English File video program available in both DVD and VHS format. If you play the MultiROM on a regular CD player, one of the sections will be the Mini-Phrasebook, in which, when you hear a sentence, you respond to it. Here's an example of how the Mini-Phrasebook works:

YOU HEAR: Hello, how are you?
YOU SAY: Fine, thanks or OK, thanks or whatever you use to say when asked that question in public.

Also, there has been a change on the number of cassettes/CDs for the Class Audio Program. Whereas English File 1 had 3 cassettes or 4 CDs for the Class Audio Program, New English File has 3 Cassettes/CDs for the Class Audio Program.
