I Just reviewed the dog cd and wanted to do this one two. I am a bit more of a cat person and kindof like this one better, only for that reason.

As owner of 5 cats and 3 dogs I am always looking for useful references and this beats them all! I took a chance buying these and boy ohh boy am I glad I did. It is super easy to use, written for normal people (like meself) and it has everything. The pictures and graphics are fantastic especailly the cat anatomy charts are just works of art, and I found the pet records keeper a very nice bonus an worked great..I have all my pets info in in an hour or so. For us average folk this was increadible. I have the dog cd like I said before; the cost is very reasonable for all you get. I have reviewed the dog cd too.

I needed to start using Finale for some projects as well as for personal use, but I didn't really know how to use it. This book really helped me out. I would recommend it.

It looks like it will be able help me learn more advanced features too.

I like the CD-ROM extras included too.

This is a terrific way of teaching young children basic Italian. The story line is creative with an interesting main character{Nicholas)and his family. The book is colorful and the audio cassette with music definitely captures a child's attention.

If you are just getting started with Flash or would like to know how to do some advanced things with it, this book is a must have. Flash can be somewhat difficult when starting out, but with this book and a cup of joe, you are good for hours of Flash Design!

Loved this book. ActionScript was such a mystery to me but this book really made it easy to understand. I am an instructor and technical writer who has been called on to teach Flash. The Actionscript stuff had me stumped; but this book really helped me pick up a few tricks that really are impressive.

It is the only book I ever read on the subject that is not boring. This guy definitely has a sense of humor!

I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of information offered in this book. It is well written, liberally illustrated. This is one of the best book on Flash MX 2004 which I have find for so long. The simple explanations and pratical uses deserve applause. The examples are set out into easy-to-follow, step-by-step procedures. This means you'll never be left wondering. Thank you Nik for his patience and guidance when I write him for the problems which I meet when using the book.

This is a pretty amazing collection of new writings on Godard. I've read pretty much every book on Godard, but nothing matches the depth and breadth of For Ever Godard. While there are many great studies of the nouvelle vague films, there are very few that cover his later films. Until now. Additionally, the topics are original and interesting: Godard as an experimental multimedia artist, the importance of voice and music, the influence of Benjamin and Blanchot, new aspects of production and representation, and many more. My personal favorite is called, "The Written Screen" on Godard's creative use of text and intertitles.

If you're interested in Godard, you'll enjoy this book. There's something here to engage even the most well read Godard connoisseur. Buy without hesitation.

This is a great book, Flatischler focuses on the philosophical and spiritual aspect of rhythm and it's basic principles, he writes about how rhythm affects the body and spirit and how it can heal.

He explains all the basic principles of pulse and rhythm and how this can be found in rhythms all over the world. This is one of the best books to start with if you want to study rhythm but I also highly recomend it to all musicians (I had been playing the piano for many years when I read it and it tought me a lot).

You should also check out Flatischlers great drum band "Megadrum", it includes one of the greatest percussionist on this planet, excellent stuff.
