I have collected some hundreds of children's picture books. And I straightly recommend this artist for her purest passion against expressing her naive esthetics into children's artbooks. Her artbooks give us the powerful beauty of clors desined in thieir simplisity. They encourage me to be creative mind in every scene in my daily life. It's sometimes a medicine in my life.

This is a fantastic book for any creative person to read. My husband bought this book as a gift for me and I highly recommend it. It has been inspirational -- I am so aware now of layers in my art, my writing and my life after reading this book. It doesn't ever make it to the bookshelf. It sits out where I can pick it up and enjoy rereading it and looking at the art! Treat yourself or ask for it on your wish list! You deserve it!

Assimil's Dutch With Ease is exactly that...gemakkelijk! It is based on dialogs which students read and then look at the translation. While I'm not a fan of learning by translation, this method was helpful in the first few lessons until eventially I only had to look up the occasional word. Moreover, the text is amusing with little cartoons throughout the text written in Dutch to keep you motivated to learn. I've enjoyed the method so much that I've bought Assimil's "Le polonais sans peine" (Polish without Punishment: French version) and "German Without Toil" (1950s edition).

When I first undertook my lessons with this book, I had the help of native Flemish-Dutch speakers to guide me with the pronunciations. Dutch pronunciation is easy enough to learn, but I would recommend a native speaker's help rather than going at it on your own from the crude pronunciations guides most self-teaching language books offer. If a native speaker's help isn't available, you probably want to consider buying a cassettes with the book.

Mr. Pittmann, RN has created an excellent instructional program for health care providers seeking to expand their skill in diagnosing cardiac rhythms. It is well suited to both the novice learner and the intermediate practitioner. In addition, it serves as a superb reference work with clear and concise examples and definitions of every major cardiac dysrhythmia. His well crafted design enables the learner to navigate smoothly about the work from rhythm to rhythm, and also features "click on" links to various related topics. It even includes an index (remember those?). If you are looking for a way to teach yourself EKG diagnosis, or seeking a tool to use in teaching others, or simply in need of a solid reference work which includes legible rhythm strips, then I wholeheartedly recommend this work!
