I bought this book simply for the list of potential employers it contains and found it to be a great resource for browsing employers in different categories. It contains web addresses, street addresses, short descriptions of what the company does, and all the companies are divided into different categories such as "Accounting and Management Consulting" or "Real Estate".

The only part that I found to be a joke is at the very beginning, concerning how to conduct a job search. The instructions are so general that they are useless and the cover letter and resume examples are only mildly useful. More importantly, information like that is already readily available in better and more detailed format on the internet, so they could really have just saved some paper and left this part out.

The bottom line is that this book is a crucial reference guide for companies you could be applying to that you didn't even know existed until you got this book. Since it narrows things down to one metropolitan area instead of a region or the nation as a whole, it allows the author to list even more employers for this specific city and with even more detail.

A must have if you are doing a focused job search!

The amazingly comprehensive encyclopedia "Choose to Reuse" has something for everyone, from a family trying to creatively reuse their household waste to businesses with 1000's of tons of materials to deal with. Every subject has an indepth choice story, lists of green products, non profit experts and organisations with comprehensive contact details. I don't know how they packed so much into a book for so little money. The research must have taken ages. Very amusing in places as well. A real must for anyone interested in the fast growing area of reuse.

Not only have I read this book but I have referred this book to the many Christian musicians and music ministries that I consult. It is an excellent source book for the Christian Music Media.

Truly a 5 star book for genealogical work! My copy is extremely worn. The *MOST* used book on my genealogical shelf! I think I paid $14.95 for mine back in 1990. Will help you to match U.S. cities to their corresponding counties. Quickly access basic information about every U.S. county, county seat, principal city, and lists cities of 100 or more people. You can look up and cross reference information by state, county, or city. If you are always wondering what county a city is in, get ahold of a copy of this book!

It's well written and informative, providing a step-by-step approach to gathering that information. People are always interested in finding out what their ancestor may have done in the war. This guide gives you the advice on how to gather that information, but also ways to expand your knowledge base, by pursuing information on their regiment, division, or corps. A great little book!
