Just like the Old House Journal magazine, this directory is a life-saver for old house lovers. Whether you are refinishing a 1700's cape or a 1920's Craftsman, this book will inform you of the sources for materials that you can't find at your local super hardware store. Even if you have a new house, but appreciate find craftsman, you will find endless sources of inspiration. You'll find yourself ordering it each year.

Well, not a whole lot to really review here. The codes are what they are. And I won't claim to have read every word of them. But the CD format is nice, and the PDF files are very usable. No complaints.

The Capital Vector Directory of Venture Capital should be considered an industry standard. I've used virtually of the directories and this is by far the most complete and up to date source of information on U.S. private equity funds (covers seed stage through late stage pre-IPO venture funds). Nothing compares with this directory at anywhere near its price point. Our group was very impressed with the data, as well as the search capabilities included on the CD. I recommend it for both the CEO/CFO crowd as well as venture fund managers who wish to use it for syndication research. In all, an uncommonly good tool.

Updated annually, and listing thousands of niche internet job boards by professional discipline, as well as the big players known to all, it's a veritable treasure trove of information.

But it's in the listing of the niche sites this book really scores. As a HR professional who has done a lot of recruiting the book has led me to a number of excellent sources of candidate resumes I might otherwise have overlooked. Which means of course, it repays an individual to select two or three niche sites to post their resume.

This is one book that should be on the shelf of every education professional. I keep a copy in the library, and the teachers love it. It is an excellent source for finding several reference websites and for finding sites that will help the teachers with their planning and students with their learning. A well rounded book that is worth being in the hands of anyone hoping to get the most out of the web.
