Interior Design Books

The pix of Punta del Este homes are really superb. The essence of beachfront living--free, earthy, close to the sun, sea, and sand is brought out. You see not only the homes but the views from the homes. One caveat: You have got to love waterfront living. This is not a book of architectural plans for second homes in general. It evokes the essence of the lifestyle of the waterfront. Kudos to Amazon for catering to us architectural and waterscape specialists.

This book makes me want to go to the beach. Or just move to the beach! It's a good book to get lost in when you wish you could get away but can't. When I look at it, I can almost feel the sun on my face and the sand under my feet.

I have read it for several times

This is a great reference -text book- for anyone who wants to learn about the principles of interior decorating or interior design. From learning the elements of design, to being able to understand what defined the style or interior decor of an era. Lots pictures, illustrations and at the end of each chapter you can test your acquired knowledge by answering its questions and/or doing the hands-on-assignement. If you are serious about learning the ABC of decorating, this is the book for you.

The artwork in this book is absolutely beautiful. Although not a very long book, the layout shows true artistic taste. There is a detailed drawing of each facade that opens up to show the building's interior. These drawings are complimented with photographs of the buildings and their contents. The book focuses on St. Peter's, Buckingham Palace, the Paris Opera, Neuschwanstein (castle), and Monticello. I particularly enjoyed the sections on the Opera and on Monticello. There were so many interesting little facts!

The books takes you to a far away place,it could be a Venitian palace or a Turkish house of worship. The colors and design makes you wish you were a guest at this hidden get away. The short stories that acompany the photos give life to the msyterious surroundings. The book is a colelctions of most peoples fantisy getaways.

Berlin is definetely one of the greatest cities on Earth, filled whith the remains of awesome history, along with the modern tendencies, create a wonderful city filled with great architecture.

This book definetely shows all of this parts with great pictures of the prettiest places in Berlin.

This book is recommended to anyone that likes modern architecture.

The book was awesome. It was great getting a sneak preview into all of the work that went into the designs. You learn so much more from the book than the actual show depicts. I truly enjoyed the book.

Some of the best interior design photographic layouts I've ever seen. There are tons of ideas in the book. I recommend this book to anyone interested in highend interior design in Florida.

Inexpensive ideas and good photography in conjuction with an enjoyable read make this one of my favorite how-to books for homeowners. Renters, this one you should pass on since you aren't financially investing in your property.
