I found this book to be a great source of information on arrowheads and knives. His hypothesis on the difference between arrowheads and knives makes sense.Filled with great photos. I would reccomend this book to the novice and experienced collector alike. Many photos you won't see in the Overstreet guide and other publications.

A wonderful book for any collector of buckles. Great clear pictures with short and too the point descriptions. What else does he collect? Anyone who has this many buckles must have a wealth of other collectibles. A great reference for the beginner or the experience collector. Not just another coffee table book.

I collect men's boots and leather. I've always wanted a guide like this. It's straight forward. Has category overviews (UNIFORMS, SPORTS, LEATHER, FANTASY/GOTH, UNDERWEAR, etc.) and A-Z listings, encyclopedia style. Has price and collecting recommendations. But I particularly like the website links, and catalog information. It's also fun just to open it to any page, look at a listing and the cross-references. I've discovered some new clothing fetishes (kilts, metal chain, leather masks), and have found some great info on collecting police and military uniforms, as well as jockstraps and cod pieces. COOL LITTLE BOOK!

Finally after years of writing for some of the biggest car and model magazines in the country, Tim Boyd has ponied up with a book that, by itself, will become a treasured collector's item. This overview of model kit collecting offers advice, history, superb photos, value estimates, box art, and some wonderful built examples. Although the format limits the depth of coverage, this book is among the best on model car kit collecting. That it couldn't cover more categories is the only disappointment.

Well worth the price, and a must-have for your modeling library.

This amazing "Book 2" companion to David Spain's "Noritake Collectibles, A to Z : A Pictorial Record & Guide to Values" is truly a great piece of work. As if the first book were not stunning and wonderful enough, with it's easy, breezy organization and thoroughly impressive pictures numbering over 1000, this second one wows audiences yet again with it's amazingly clever organization and truly beautiful pictures, many taken (as in the first book) by the author himself. Quite the icing on the cake. Spain's writing genius shines through.

this book is very neat! it contains all information about all of the 150 pokemon, the values of each pokemon card,and has the values on pokemon toys and collectors items. this book tells you why pokemon is so fun, and teaches you what exactly pokemon is all about. it even has some history about pokemon making its fame into japan. this book is really handy because it tells you the exact values of all 150 pokemon and if you want to start collecting, how you want to start and what you want to look for. this was handy for me because when i wanted to collect, i knew which cards and toys to get. it also has big pictures of the pokemon in color. i'm very pleased!
