This book covers a lot of internet related issues, like moral and immoral ways to make money online. The author also touches other business related topics, like money laundering, offshore banking, and information security. Read it, even if you have no intention of actually starting an online business. And if do want to try your hand at ECommerce, this book is essential.

This is an excellent view into two groups of women who met up online and formed a new type of society. Dr. Bury puts the study of these groups into a wider context by exploring the historical and sociological implications. I don't always agree with the authorities she quotes, but I find their viewpoints interesting, and the discussions between the women in the groups are humorous and stimulating.

Knowing that this novel purports romantic undertones, I was expecting a Harlequin tempo in the prose, but I was mistaken. Author Dione M. Coumbe writes with relentless wit and feminist machismo! Yes, her heroine attracts all of the usual suspects, but lions, tigers and bears, oh my, Dorothy thought she had a nightmare - Dathan Charles wouldn't need to click her heels to go home from Oz, she could've walked!
One passage details an attempt on Dathan Charles' life. How many heroines don't comb their hair or at least wince before picking up a gun? Not Ms. Charles. She wipes out her enemy with one gun shot and very little forethought.
Coumbe has drawn from her own universal experiences to create a vagabond adventure to end all adventures. A cross between Raiders of the Lost Ark and Gone With The Wind. Dathan Charles has Scarlet's beauty and willfulness combined with Indiana's resourcefulness and prowess. Together they pack quite a wallop.
I don't know if there's an odometer great enough to measure either the author or her lead character's adventures. And thank goodness for that. For what an intricate and tangled web they weave!
The title character is a trailblazer of gender equality. Scarlet O'Hara was a wannabe. Dathan Charles is the read deal.

After reading Them's Fightin' words by Mr. Glenn I knew I had to try one of his books and I wasn't disappointed. Death at Dragonthroat is a thriller, a comedy and an horror story all at once, sometimes ont he same page. I was amazed at how quickly the author was able to take me from one emotional state to another and I have to think it is because he made the characters so real that I cared a gtreat deal about what happened to them. And I want to know more.
