This book is fantastic. When I first got AOL I had so many questions about e-mail and such and this answered all of them. It's in simple language too so that even I, a 12 year old can read it.

This book was very useful in my clinical practice. It does a tremendous job covering drug information as well as methods for educating physicians about therapeutic information. I would strongly recommend this book for any clinican dealing with complex drug therapy literature.

Architect's Guide to QuickBooks Pro is very helpful and easy to follow. I was referred to it by the AIA and it has been one of the best investments that I have made all year long.

Dr. R. Murphy is a registered British nutritionist and studied at Westbrook University, USA, where he received his BSc, Msc and his PhD in Nutrition and Iridology. In closing, quoting from the back cover, "The proven knowledge in this book will help you in your quest to overcome the pain and discomfort of any arthritic complaint."

This is a set of papers primarily of interest to astrobiologists. One might want to use it as part of an astrobiology course for graduate students.

The articles are fascinating. We start with a section on organic material in space. We learn about extrasolar planets, including "hot jupiters." We read a discussion of habitable zones for these extrasolar planets. And we look at a scenario of life being transferred from Mars to Earth.

Next is a section on water: how essential it is for life, and what it would mean to have life without water. We look at the geomorphological record of water-related erosion on Mars, and we see a discussion of tides on Europa. And we look at life in cold water, hot water, and salty water.

Third is a section on radiation and life. That includes magnetic shielding from cosmic rays, ultraviolet radiation, and effects of cosmic rays. The fourth section is about gravity: gravitational effects at the cellular level, and effects of gravity on plants and animals. And the fifth section is about complexity and life: scaling phenomena, molecular self-assembly, and what it would be like to look for fossils in an extraterrestrial environment. The book concludes with a paper about forthcoming space missions relevant to astrobiology.

This book has plenty of useful material for astrobiologists!

I buy and sell often on ebay, amazon, and yahoo.....mostly for fun, not profit. I found it hard to keep up with all of my transactions; I hated using the software programs for my little 'business' but this new notebook type record book has done it for me. It is simply a notebook full of blank record pages on which you can keep your notes; it even helps me keep track of the stuff I want to bid on while waiting for the close of the auction to get closer (what that means is no more bookmarked pages and hundreds of postit notes all over my computer!). A very simple product, at a good price that made my life much easier! You can also buy refill pages for the notebooks by the way. Highly recommended.

Bank Robbers Now Use Computers consists almost entirely of various crime and scam stories involving theft. These true tales include crimes in the US and abroad, and range from "Nigerian email" schemes where the con man never sees his victim to brutal robberies and killings. Although horrifying, the stories also offer the best defense - that of prevention through knowledge. It is author Herman McDaniel's hope that by spreading word of robbers' schemes more people will learn how to protect themselves against them, and to that end, Bank Robbers Now Use Computers does not disappoint.

Covers everything that needs to be said, without holding back at all! May not be all welcome advice initially, but a little thought will show just how valid all the points are. A very authoritative writing style which some may find a little offensive, but the points need to be made; a pity more people don't consider their recipients instead of seeing netiquette as a restriction of their freedom to be 'creative'! If I'd known just how good this book is I'd have happily paid more than double the price to get it. Gives URLs for the author's web pages, which are likewise so good I've added the RSS feeds to my browser (Firefox) and visit them daily. I have no reservation in recommending this work to all.
