This book by Michael Lewis is a fast read 122 pages. It covers the essentials in a well-organized fashion. I personally feel Michael does a great job. I am a power seller. Several times a week I encounter someone who really needs to read this book. The answer to Question #7 `How do I know I am getting something a good price,' will pay for this book.

I really liked this book. It gave me all the informations I need to start selling on Ebay. I did research on the ebay website and this book gives it to you in a nutshell. In addition to this book I recommend you still read ebay's rules and regulations. I recommend this book for anyone who would like to start selling on ebay.

Updated annually, and listing thousands of niche internet job boards by professional discipline, as well as the big players known to all, it's a veritable treasure trove of information.

But it's in the listing of the niche sites this book really scores. As a HR professional who has done a lot of recruiting the book has led me to a number of excellent sources of candidate resumes I might otherwise have overlooked. Which means of course, it repays an individual to select two or three niche sites to post their resume.

A small book of uniquely great content. Short texts and plenty of useful illustrations, no hype -
so finally here is book that was really designed for practicing journalists. This is a must for those print editors and journalists who want to keep their job in the next few years. Like me.

This is one book that should be on the shelf of every education professional. I keep a copy in the library, and the teachers love it. It is an excellent source for finding several reference websites and for finding sites that will help the teachers with their planning and students with their learning. A well rounded book that is worth being in the hands of anyone hoping to get the most out of the web.

Usually when you buy one of these "about" books you get some useable information, but it's not always completely accurate. I have not been able to fool this book yet. It has answered all my questions with the utmost accuracy. All the answers have been for the correct version of AOL and every time I open the book and read a paragraph I learn something new. It's GREAT.

Even if you're NEW to computers or to the INTERNET, this book is a GREAT handbook and reference to America Online ! If you want to start your Internet Journey, this book is just what you need, no wonder its number one ! I would like to thank David Krassner for writing such a GREAT book which helped me a LOT when i first bought my computer and signed up for America Online !

Great book, if you are eager to make your web searching more productive this is the book for you.

I thought I was pretty good when it came to getting around
on the Internet, but was I ever pleasantly surprised to learn
that I could still learn a great deal . . . and did by reading
THE ABOUT.COM GUIDE TO ONLINE RESEARCH by Wendy Boswell.

You'll also learn, too, regardless of your level of computer
sophistication . . . the material is very readable and
oh-so-informative . . . for example, to find the weather for
where you live, just go to the google website and type-in
weather: then your five-digit zip code . . . you immediately are
taken to a very visual listing that will provide all the information
you need by just looking at it (and not having to click further).

You'll get many tips that I've never seen elsewhere; e.g., this one
deals with how to deal with bibliographies:

There's EasyBib. a free automatic bibliography
composer; Cornell University Library's excellent in-depth article on how
to prepare an annotated bibliography; and writer Diana Hacker's informative how-to tutorial . . . all the specific web citations can be found in the book.

And you'll also find websites galore on such topics as finding crime
statistics, weird news, comparison shopping, job hunting, specific
diseases, and everybody's favorite, time wasting.

Lastly, if such terms as "blogs" and "RSS feeds" still throw you,
you'll no longer need to fear them if you just spend a little
time this most informative guide . . . I'd tell you more, but
it would take away from the time that I still want to spend
on trying just some of the things I've learned from Boswell's book.

First of all this is a great piece of literature written by someone only the tender age of 19. Accidental Heroine captivates its readers from the very first couple of pages, with twists and turns in the story throughout, leaving you wanting more. Another thing to mention is that there is not one, not two, but MANY laugh-out-loud moments in the book. I tried to count how many then realised this was a very sad thing to do, and anyway, I would have lost count. A very humorous and enjoyable novel. I await the next one with anticipation.
