This is a work of great value. Not only does it clarify the meaning of some of the more confusing and disputed passages from the Geeta, but it places the story in the historical context of man's spiritual evolution. Without arrogance, condescention or fanatical intolerance, Yogi Mahajan lays out the truth of our spiritual path in simple words that carry all the sweetness and inspiration of H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.

The book is a very light and pleasant read, especially for those familiar with the story of the Geeta. Still, I streched this read for as many months as I could just to savor every word of it. Thanks, Yogi Mahajan!

I was just beginning to read about Irish history, and was looking for a good book to start with, when I saw someone buying this handy little introduction. I promptly bought & read it myself, and wasn't in the least disappointed. I finished the book in a day, and yet, when I was done, I knew 10 times more about the subject than I had previously, enough to completely revise what I thought were my opinions.

This is a concise, well-written, and readable summary of the general course of Irish history. It's not quite "in-depth," but it's too thorough to be dismissed as a rough outline or anything similar. It's a sound elementary primer on a complex subject, and the perfect starting point for further, more detailed learning.

This directory is the most comprehensive listing of persons and titles at almost every production company there is... I believe it is the only database of its kind. Everyone from mega-producers to full-time interns are listed, as well as their phones, faxes and addresses. An invaluable resource.

A Reprint of a Classic

Review Date: 2004-09-04
This is a corrected version of one of the real classics in the multigrid field. Its first publisher allowed the price to skyrocket to the point that it still stands today as the most expensive multigrid book I own. The reprint is over $100 USD less than what I paid for my copy.

The book is completely self contained. It has one of nicest descriptions of finite volume methods in it that I know of. It covers all of the basic multigrid concepts in detail, both algorithmically and theoretically. It covers a lot more than basics as well.

While it was between regular publishers the author gratiously allowed a scanned copy to be downloaded from the multigrid community web site http://www.mgnet.org. It was one of the most downloaded items while it was there. (As an aside, it is no longer available on the web.)

While not the most recent multigrid book, it still is one of the best. The price, considering it is a hardback, is also very competitive.

I highly recommend this book, particularly for students who have not studied in depth numerical methods for solving partial differential equation.

In a fascinating series of short essays, a real treasure of informations otherwise almost impossible to access about many aspects of Irish history, Irish traditions, social structure, nobility, legal system, heraldry etc. A must for history lovers and particularly for anyone interest in genealogy or heraldry in Ireland.

A fascinating overview of Irish history, nobility, heraldry!

This composition is a truly fascinating overview of Irish history, nobility and heraldry. The work contains valuable insights concerning the impact of the English control of Ireland, as well as a strong and clear picture of the feudal society that existed prior to the English invasion. The material primarily covers the territory that constituted the old Kingdom of Munster, but the reader will find references and similarities to the conditions found throughout Ireland. There is truly something for every student of Irish history.

This is a fabulous book. I could not put it down, and I have a newborn! I picked it for our book club this month, and as each person finishes the book, they are calling/emailing me to tell me how great it is! I loved it. The cover makes it look like a girly book, but I think men would enjoy it just as much. There's just the right amount of history, personal stories and love and suspense and intrigue. I highly recommend it!

Great book. Finally, after purchasing many psychiatry books, I settled with this one. Almost all of the questions in the exam are same except for dementias and "Neuropsych tests for Dementias". That has to be covered by you elsewhere otherwise you are all set for the Psych part of ABPN Neurology,

This book is not for the beginner. That is why many missed OSHO since they could not conceive such ideas. Some experience is needed even a little glimps, then only one will be able to grasp this higher experience.Without such feeling, this book will just be a fancy ride to the unknown.OSHO is for the beyond, the next step after ABC.........

Thank you so much for the book. Very prompt service and David has dropped me a mail immediately to check on the parcel. The condition of the book is more than I have expected. It is a rare piece. Thanks again to David and CurrentSeebooks

The MOST PROFOUND BOOK I have ever read!

Review Date: 2005-12-05
I spend 8 years of my life with Osho (1982-1990) and can testify to the fact that he had an absolutely transformative effect on thousands (perhaps hundreds of thousands)of people. On the surface, he was an outlandish fun-loving guru, with a wicked sense of humor and a carnival-like ashram atmosphere around him. Beneath the surface, he was a master alchemist working on very subtle and profound levels of consciousness with many of his disciples.

This book (which has some of the talks included in the original version: "The Mystic Experience") deals with those subtle levels that you begin to experience once you go DEEP into meditation. "Kundalini", "Chakras", "Energy Bodies" "Prana" cease to be theories and instead become lived realities. For any serious meditator following the path of "kundalini", "yoga", "tantra" or any of the Indian spiritual traditions, I highly recommend this book as it deals with the experiences that will happen to you, as you go deeper in your meditative practice.

As to all the doubters: take it from someone who was there, with him in the flesh - Osho was a Mount Everest among spiritual masters. His energy was (and continues to be in esoteric realms) of such magnitude as to be indescribable. Words cannot describe the Oceanic Vastness of his vibrational presence.

I am profoundly grateful to this man who revolutionized my life and the life of so many others who came to know him, and who continue to access his spirit through his legacy.
The true meaning of this book cannot be understood by the intellect. To truly grasp what this book is talking about, you will have to undertake your own meditative journey. To all seekers and lovers of Osho, Godspeed!!! May you come to know his blessings!
