Since I've received this book, I have used it at least once everyday. There are so many useful resources in the book for me to use in my everyday job, as well as new people in the music business that I can now easily reach out to. I highly recommend this book!

A wonderful new edition - everything you need to know. And the book is nicely organized into sections too (from agents to managers to lawyers). This is a must for anyone in the industry.

If you are an aspiring screenwriter seeking representation you need this directory! It not only contains most of the contact information you'll need, but many companies also list a "submission policy" which dictates how you should present your query. I have queried 20 agencies (of about 300 listed) and already got 2 rejection letters. That's good news, because it means that my letters actually got read by the person listed in the directory. Good luck getting your query letters read if you send them "To Whom It May Concern." You need names and this directory has them.

I can't think of a single aspect of the history of the Bessarabian German culture that this book doesn't cover extremely well. I was amazed at how much better I understand my family history after having read this publication.

Homeland Book of the Bessarabian Germans by Albert Kern, now translated into English, is a must read for anyone whose ancestors were born or lived in Bessarabia. Those Germans from Russia whose direct line does not stem from Bessarabia will also benefit from the insight written by many people of the area. The descriptive writings about the history, immigration, and then the resettlement during World War II, grips you with the smell of the earth, the blue of the sky, and the wrenching sadness, when they must leave their land, home, animals and all they possess. The narratives often remind me of our experiences during our June, 1998 visit to the villages of Arzis, Alt Elft, Neu Elft and Schabo.

The articles on more than 100 colonies and estates, are written by the people who lived and served in various capacities in the area. The voices of experience and daily living provide reading of such interest, one can hardly put the book down. Hours can be spent studying pictures of homes, churches, and colony life. The format of each parish, and its colonies and estates, makes the material easily accessible. It includes one of the best lists of site locations of German Parishes in Bessarabia, that I have seen. The complete list of sources, index of pictures, place name index, and subject index, all provide specific information at your fingertips in a matter of seconds.

The Honor List of Missing in Action and Deaths in WWI and WWII lists hundreds and hundreds of names of sons and fathers of all the various colonies. The names seem to read like almost any telephone book in the Dakotas, or any community with a large Germans from Russia contingent. This newly translated and published book by the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection, North Dakota State University Libraries, Fargo, will become a valuable addition to your library.

Before I review the book, I must say a few words about the author. I first met Eileen last fall at my favorite club, Nashville's in Timonium, Maryland after corresponding with her via CompuServe. In addition to being a writer, she is an excellent dancer! Before we parted company, she signed a copy of her book for me, which I read cover to cover. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down! It covers everything a person would need to know before venturing out on the dance floor. She talks about the history of honky- tonks, how to dress, and how to act on and off the dance floor. Then she gives a detailed listing by state of clubs that have been around the longest, and finally a listing of newer clubs throughout the U.S. I can't wait to read Eileen's next book and dance the El Paso with her again on the dance floor! Peace!

If you knew nothing about honky tonks and dancing this book tells you the ins and outs of the club life. She speaks from personal experience which adds to the text and makes you feel ready to face the action. I recommend this book for anyone interested in learning more about the dance scene.

This is a great, easy to use book, with all the information needed to get online, get reservations and learn more about where you are going. If you're an expert with a computer or, just some who doesn't have a clue, you can use this book to get great travel information.

I can't give this book enough credit!! When I was younger I used to write to sports stars all the time, always using the addresses from these books (I had all four). I now have numerous autographs......Steve Young, Cam Neely, Brian McBride, Eddie Belfour, Mike Modano, Jeff Gordon, and many more. They are all real! It is so great..... for people looking to buy the books, I recommend using the team addresses in the back of the book but putting a name at the top instead of the team name. The addresses in the book just go to fan clubs, but if you send it to the team they will give it to the players!!! Anyways, enjoy the book. It's awesome!

This book is incredible informational and fact-filled for young kids who are interested in writing to their favorite athletes in search of autographs. I have found from my personal experience that if you are polite enough in your requesting an autograph from an athlete through the mail, that they will usually respond in a positive manner, although occasionally it does take quite a long time to get a response from the athletes.

I may be a bit biased in my recommendation of this book, as my wife was the editor on the project a few years back during an internship she had while in college, and the author was one of my good friends from college. So Dylan and Inga... WAY TO GO!!! Thanks for giving kids such an informative and valuable resource for trying to get in touch with their sports heroes!!!
