This is a great book and explains "change" in a family is really okay! I love this entire series and every Mom and Teacher should get them all!

My kids just love Benny and the Bulls, and they had such a great time coloring this book! I'm happy that they've learned their ABC's! The games and rhymes make the book even more fun for them, and they look through it again and again. A great buy!

On the advice of a friend, I purchased this book prior to last year's draft. While the information regarding every day players can be found elsewhere, the book's strength is its profiles of more obscure players. The book was particularly helpful during spring training, when the box scores are full of no name players, and during the September call up. During the course of summer, I found a profile regarding every player I looked up - I doubt that can be said of many publications.

Songs in this book are fairly easy for pianists. Vocalists will enjoy the selection that truly does offer some of Andrew Lloyd Webber's best!

I stumbled upon this book in a used bookstore on the way to a train station. I had just finished the book I'd been reading and I couldn't face a long commute on the DC metro system without something to read. So I ducked in and quickly scanned the clearance shelf. And here was this beat-up old paperback with goofy cover art. It was obviously a science fiction collection. But it was by an author I'd never heard of and I consider myself a veteran SF fan. But beggars can't be choosers and it was less than a buck so I grabbed it.

And what a surprising pleasure I had reading it! One story after another of golden age of SF style writing from the 1930s (and a couple late stories from the 1950s). Fun stories of sweeping imagination. Gallun wasn't afraid to imagine big with stories where the Earth is destroyed, or from the perspective of alien beings where the the humans are the mysterious ones (or the bad guys). I was amazed that I'd never heard of Raymond Z. Gallun. He's an under appreciated figure of early science fiction. This little collection gets my highest recommendation.

The late Beverly Nichols was an eccentric Englishman who wrote mostly about gardening and some other topics. In his gardening books and autobiographies you will often find him digressing about his cats. He finally decided that since the cats kept creeping into anything he wrote that he had better devote a book to them.

This is the second of two books dedicated to his cats and their "lifestyles." In it you will find much information about cats in general that is very useful if you are a new cat owner and much that will have veteran cat people nodding in agreement and laughing out loud. He talks about people as being F or non F (for feline)and draws humorous pictures of the people who wander in and out of the cats' world. He is not a "cat expert" but he gives us all an insight into the private lives of cats. There is obviously more to any cat than meets the eye.

If you love cats, buy this!

A to Z was the first of Mr. Taylor's books that I read. I commend him for finding very interesting Biblical characters to use in depicting each letter of the alphabet. Great way to learn the Alphabet for my kids, and great way for them to become more knowledgeable about the Bible!!

I was encouraged to read this biography of Carlos Zambrano. He is a truly humble (if unpredictable!) baseball player who loves the Lord with all his heart. It's exciting to think of where the road will lead for The Big Z.
